Jude was a cafeteria rat at least right now he was. The cafeteria was the source of the all important coffee that he enjoyed to drink. Sure it tasted cheap and slightly over-brewed (to his tastes) but it was better than nothing, two sugars added later and he'd notice nothing of the cheap and over-brewed taste or so he'd trained himself into thinking.

The young man had a book on the table before him and the coffee nearby to take sips from as he read. He was taking some down time, at least a little bit of it. Lately he'd been doing nothing but getting himself beat up or teased and it was getting pretty tiresome overall. He flipped the page of his book and then continued to read.

Was the book boring? It kinda was. He heaved a small sigh and took off his reading glasses to pinch the bridge of his nose. Oddly enough now he felt he could do with some human company before he tossed to book against the nearest wall.
