[PRP || Vinata x Ayoeng'aw] Little explorer

With a loud sigh, Vinata rested her head lightly against a tree. The day seemed to be very boring and filled with very little excitement, something that she didn't like to experience often and luckily didn't have to. Usually she would go down to the forest floor and find something delicious to bring back to the pride, but today she felt like sticking closer to home. A decision that was turning out to be more boring then she had anticipated. Not that the pride was boring, but everyone seemed to be busy doing what they needed or wanted to do. Thus she had no one to entertain or keep her entertained.

Raising her head she looked at the tree that her head had been resting against. It seemed to know exactly what it was and what it wanted to be, something she admired as she was still very clueless. But she had faith that Eywa would make it all clear for her soon. Maybe her place was exactly that, to be clueless about her own purpose and maybe help someone else out along the way. "Maybe." Vinata said somewhat dreamily.

Ayo was enjoying his time away from his big family, he loved them dearly but sometimes even a cub needed to get away from it. Besides it was a beautiful day and he didnt want to spend it playing like his family as usual. No, he wanted to use the pridelands has his playground. His current mission was trying to jump from boulder to tree and back, he had mastered rock jumping as a cub and even taught his sister Mtoto a little thing or too but now that was just cub stuff and the rocks were not nearly as big now that he was growing up. However, some things just don't ever change his love for adventure.

Ayo easily jumped from boulders till he was eye level with the branch in front of him, "So we meet again branch." He took a deep breath stepping as far back as he could, sticking his butt up in the air before he took a running start at the branch. Leaping from the boulder he shot towards the branch only to be looking at it pass under him, oh shoot he over shot it! Ayo found himself being caught by the vines and tangled.

He looked up to a cracking sound to find them begging to break, he started to chew out of the vines in hopes he could easily jump but they broke before he could and he found himself falling to the ground landing with a thud. He was physically unhurt but his ego was a bit bruised. Ayo got up completely oblivious the the lioness near him, looking up at the branch he overshot he huffed "Stupid branch."

With blinking eyes Vinata looked at the cub then at the sky from which he had fallen, then back at him. Was this really happening? Raising a brow she stepped closer to the young juve. "That was quite a fall." She said, looking him over for injuries. His coat was a rather light blue, almost white. Which by her view had no signs of blood on it. Good.

"Are you alright?" Vinata asked, stepping to his side and then around to his front. Her light blue eyes met his red one's in curiosity. "You look well enough." She said with a nod.

Flicking her tail slightly she sat down and lightly touched her front right paw to his nose. Making sure not to hurt him further or poke an eye. Or worse. "How you young one's jump back so quickly... It's impressive." She said.

Ayo looked at the female he chuckled what a fright she probably had when he fell. But at the same time he was mad, he should have been able to make it. "I'm fine. It wasn't a big fall," he said sitting up and brushing himself off. She had an odd pelt he had never seen anyone with a dark pelt.


He paused when she touch his nose. She was awfully friendly. He puffed out his chest when she said his jump was impressive. Awww yeah he thought but decided a polite "Thank you" would be best. "Now who are you?" He said looking up at the female, whom hes never seen before. She had an oddly colored pelt, she was so dark it was completely opposite of his own. He wanted to know about this female.

Vinata smiled and removed her paw from the juve's nose. "I'm glad to hear you are okay." She said, though still looking him over for any broken bones or the like. "You're welcome." She added, now content with the condition of the 'cub' before her. In truth he wasn't that much younger then her. But now that she was an adult she still needed to hold a sense of maturity. Though she wasn't as wayward and carefree anyways.

At his question Vinata laughed. "My name is Vinata." She beamed. "Now that you know my name, I should ask the same of you!" Vinata grinned once more. "What's your name young one?"

Of course he was okay, what kind of adventurer would he be if he couldnt take a fall every now and then. "I am Ayoeng'aw son of Kaym'itan and Rukopa-eupe" He answered proudly, he wasnt ashamed that he looked exactly like his mother. He looked up from his fall, now how was he going to get back up there to continue his training. He wouldnt be able to climb up so it looked like he could only walk back up. Dang it he hated the long way anywhere.

"What are you doing here anyway?" He wondered he never found many in the jungle they were always preparing for something, hunting or a battle. Well at least his family was. "I mean, its just... you dont look like a native." He said boldly. Growing up here he learned quickly who looked like they belonged and who looked like they didnt. Not to say he didnt like outsiders he just never really had a chance to interact with one.
