Ai's Fighting Stats
Attack: 13x6 = 78%
Defense: 12%
Speed: 7%
Agility: 16%
Intelligence: 8% “You both of disappointed me.” JB said as he pulled both his mokai to the pits. The moon was shining brightly, but clouds were rolling in quickly. That usually never was a good sign. Sighing, Ai looked up at the sky. It was her fault she had lost. She had underestimated Seven, and became quite cocky to gain another win.
She knew where JB was taking her though. She had been there once before, in her first underground match. She didn’t think she’d be back there so soon. Then again, she didn’t expect to lose a battle either. Gold eyes looked over to Inali, who seemed rather stoic. Was he proud to be entering in the pits? The underground ones? He didn’t know any difference.
Upon arriving at the compound, the man waiting outside looked at JB, before focusing on Ai and Inali.
“Them two?”
“Yes Sir.”
“Why?”
“I want them to learn losing is not an option.”
The man shrugged, letting JB enter. “You know the drill.”
Entering in the pits, one of the handlers had taken Ai from JB, while he led Inali towards his own chute. With a shove in, (the other handler doing the same to Ai), the battles commenced with the sound of the chutes opening.
Ai wandered out, pretty surprised to see that Inali was her component. JB wasn’t too happy, if he wanted both his mokai to be pitted against each other.

Inali's Fighting Stats
Attack: 1x2 = 2%
Defense: 2%
Speed: 10%
Agility: 8%
Intelligence: 1% Inali too, appeared to falter at the sight of Ai before him. Sure they had come to the compound together (at this ungodly hour to say the least).
“I guess this means we fight against each other?”
He saw Ai nod, before she mumbled a few words he couldn’t hear. Though, he assumed what they could have been, as she saw the striped female charging right for him, eyes ablaze with the same fiery passion his first opponent held in them.
While fighting the female wasn’t Inali’s keen interest, he knew that another battle (even if it were so soon from his last one against Aea) was another battle so he could try to gain the other’s trust for his freedom back.

Intelligence: 8% “No holding back.” Ai had muttered, before charging at Inali. If there was one thing she knew from her last battle in the underground, is that there was no holding back. If she did, that could cause a problem for her. Then again, she was battling Inali, who was still pretty green in the pits, so she really didn’t expect much from him.
But if there was one thing Ai learned from her last battle against Seven, was to underestimate anyone anymore. Even if she thought she knew someone, their fighting tactics and what not, she would not fail to make that mistake again.
When their two bodies collided, Ai aimed straight for Inali’s neck. She snarled loudly, causing the male to do so as well. It was a tangle of limbs, striped and black. If it weren’t for the different colors of pelts, the small group of watchers and betters wouldn’t know who’s paw belonged to who.
Ai didn’t hear any yelling from JB. She didn’t know who he wanted to in this strange circumstance of a match.

Inali's Fighting Stats

Intelligence: 1% “What the hell is with you!” Inali growled when he felt the jaws of Ai on his neck. “No need to get so offensive here.”
Inali really didn’t know better. The difference between the legal battles and illegal ones that was. The fact of the matter, he was at a disadvantage. Ai was the one who told him about legal battles only, never the dangers of the underground ones. If he knew just how relentless he could go on the other, perhaps he would be acting differently. He didn’t though, so he settled for his usual moves in the day fights.
Twisting his neck, somehow Inali managed to get Ai’s grasp off him. Now, it was his turn to attack. He aimed for her flank, but his speed against hers was no match. He felt his jaws snapping the air, the striped mokai not in his visible line of sight anymore.

Intelligence: 8% Not wanting to get on the downside of the fight again, Ai moved quickly on her feet. She ignored Inali for the time being, dodging his attack. She was quick to whip her head around, jabbing her horn at him.
When she felt it hit the flesh, she didn’t smirk, nor get excited. She had done that fights before, and only after her loss did she realize how badly of distraction that was. Jabbing her head upward, she still felt the flesh tear, before Inali had finally pulled away from the offending limb.
“Get with it, Inali,” Ai snarled, hostility held in both voice and eyes. “We are here for a reason. Our master is not happy with us, so we need to prove him wrong! You want your freedom back, don’t you?!” She said angrily.
“Then prove it.” Her tail lashed wildly behind her, waiting for Inali’s move.

Intelligence: 1% “You sure this was a wise idea, JB? Pitting your mokai against each other in this kind of fight?” The skinny man, Carlson, asked from beside his friend.
JB was watching with narrowed eyes. He saw Ai fight, attack, and do all she could. Inali, on the other hand, was slow to the catch. He needed to chance that, if he wanted a better fighter.
“Indeed, Carlson.” Was all he said, still watching the fight commence.

“What do you mean?” The husky marked mokai was confused. “You mean that whack job is making us fight because he is angry about our battles this week,” then realization seemed to dawn on Inali. “You lose? Ohoho, the champion lost? Hah,” his tail would have wagged, if it weren’t for the horn impaling his side.
“He’s not mad at me,” Inali said quietly, light blue eyes glinting a bit from the lighting in the compound. “He’s mad at you.”
This just seemed to anger the stripe female even more. Her horn had pushed upward. Inali pulled away from the jabbing appendage, looking down at the wound she had instilled.
“You want no holding back Ai?” His eyes narrowing. “I’ll show you no holding back.” Although he didn’t have fearsome claws, huge fangs or other good fighting techiniques, he did the different terrain training that Aea taught him, and the fact that he should be able to use his wits from his wild life to aid him.
Lunging for the female, Inali had managed to grab the flab of her collar, before the two were tumbling down to the dirt.

“Shut up! You lost too! If either of us had one our fight this week, then none of us would be in this stupid mess!” She said, eyeing the blood dripping from his side. She would probably come to regret doing that the next day.
When Inali’s personality seemed to change, she let in just a small amount of emotion. “Good.” That was just what she wanted to see. She wanted to put on a great fight for JB, to prove she wasn’t as worthless as she appeared her last match. While some owners would understand that there were sometimes that mokai had off days, JB would not accept that for his own brood. He trained winners, otherwise they were good as culls.
When the other lunged for her, Ai braced herself, feeling her feet swept from underneath as both tussled to the ground. Rolling, Ai found herself underneath the larger male, being pinned with ease. She wouldn’t last in that position long.
With her back legs, she kicked at Inali’s gut, hearing the whine he emitted the perfect sound to her ears.

Intelligence: 1% Inali was about to say ‘pinned ya’, just like he would said to Aea if he could catch her in either their training session or actual match. But the fact of the matter as soon as he went to open his mouth, he let out an oomph and a whine, feeling Ai’s back feet connect with his soft underbelly.
The mokai wanted badly to kneel, coddle his stomach that now was throbbing, alongside the damned horn wound from a moment ago. He couldn’t though, already he was letting the striped female get the upper hand, and he couldn’t allow that. He was finding that fighting for his freedom wasn’t working well for him. He needed to find out what else would give him a good reason to fight. He couldn’t keep losing these battles, he’d never see the outside walls again.
One last move. He waited for her to make her last move.

Intelligence: 8x2 = 16% So, he wasn’t the one to make the move. So be it then. With her head bowed down, Ai aimed to use her best weapon, her horn, to impale the mokai once more.
She would prove to JB that this was how it should be. The lost she had suffered earlier was a fluke, and definitely wouldn’t happen again.

“She likes using her horn, doesn’t she, JB?” Carlson asked from aside. The man nodded.
“It’s a shame your boy doesn’t use his. Perhaps you should get him some other type of horns…” Carlson offered, seeing the anger fly on his friend’s face as the suggestion. “Or, we can have a training session with him to teach him better?” He offered instead.
“He’ll learn. I think I will be throwing him in here more often.”
“Really? That’s a shame…I mean” at JB’s look, Carlson quickly changed his mind. “Here is the best place to have him train…” Carlson had to watch what he said around JB tonight, for her seemed more on edge than usual.

Intelligence: 1x4 = 4% “Look, there he goes!” Carlson exclaimed. “He’s using it!”
“I can see that.” JB practically growled, watching the two mokai charge at each other in a head on collision. Their horns would be the first thing that would meet, and, depending on the angle they came in at, would cause a lot of damage to both mokai.
“You can still stop them, JB.”
“Carlson, one more word from you and I swear…”

With his head also bent down, Inali raced towards Ai. Both of the horned creatures were dead set on their opponent. They wanted to fight to the end, and this was a way to do it.
There was no sound when the horns collided. Instead, just growls, snarls, groans and other mokai sounds coming from the two fighters were the only thing people could hear. While one would expect two holes in the head, one of each of the mokai, there was nothing of the sort.
Instead, the two appeared at a deadlock, each pushing themselves head on, trying to driving the slightly blunt horn home.
Even at the sound of the bell, the two were still going on it. Inali wanted to prove he wasn’t a weakling, and Ai wanted to prove she wasn’t a loser.
It took a few of the handlers to get the mokai separated, Ai taking one last snap towards Inali before her cool settled back in place. She narrowed her eyes at Inali,
“Next time, Inali,” Inali heard her snarl. He made sure to note to not cross the female’s path for a bit, to let her simmer down a bit before anything. Inali did manage to take some notes from Ai in their battle. While he fought for his freedom, he had no passion. Ai on the other hand, had too much passion for the human she called master. If he could somehow harvest that into his own fighting skill, then maybe, just maybe, he would be unstoppable one day and gain just what he wanted. Just what he needed.
