Just wondering, just wondering...
Anybody from Texas? Or anybody planning to attend a convention in Texas?
I'll be going to Ikkicon in Austin, TX this New Years, and then A-kon in Dallas next summer... Omnicon in McAllen, TX and, possibly, RealmsCon in Corpus Christi. :3
... yeah, lots of plans. xDD Omnicon and RealmsCon aren't too far from where I live, though. =w=

Hi! I live in Texas, but the very western tip of it in El Paso, so it's generally impractical to go to other cons in central Texas and further. We did have our Winter Con here last Saturday though…
Did I mention I hate Texas?
At any rate, there are other members closer to where you are that happen to go to cons as well. Perhaps they might be better matches. Enjoy FEF all the same ;D

FD's on the west part of Texas, and I'm on the east side. Like... on the coast east. It'd be a decently long drive to get to any of those.

So far, I only know of Mizumi con which is at Our Lady of the Lake University, and San Japan, which is our big con we host downtown.
I heard there's a gamer's con called Chimeracon sometime in the spring too, but due to college stuff, I never make it. I'd love to go sometime though. I might meet other Fire Emblem fans!

I saw someone cosplaying as Tethys at the con!~ <333I really wish I could go to Ikkicon but I don't want to pay the fares for transportation. x.x It's either the Greyhound or the Airlines since I don't have a car and that's very costly. And then you gotta pay admission to the con too. And hotel fees. And souvenirs. I need to get an awesome job, in other words.

The only way I had enough money for all of that... was because my parents gave me money for Christmas. =w= So I just saved it and used it all for the New Years trip to Austin. xD
My friends and I lucked out, though; Banzaikon from South Padre Island gave us free passes. =w= ... we can't expect them to do that again next time, though, considering they just owed us from something else.
--Don't try to go to Ikkicon. xD There are several complaints every year... If you wanna go to a northern con, shoot for A-kon or AnimeFest in Dallas.
