Why didn't she do a written exam like she had originally wanted to do? Was it because she wasn't confident in knowing the answers (not likely, she studied hard and well) or was it because she was afraid she wouldn't understand the writing? She'd been keeping her English up to date so she didn't need to worry about that but....there was another reason she decided to do the physical set of testing instead. It was because she was heavy and she hit hard, that was way. In her memory she recalled delivering a strong hit to that person and all the cheers it had gotten. She wasn't going to do this exam now and hit the FEAR box for cheers, no. She wasn't going to do it for anything other than the sheer hope of getting the school reopened and approved and whatever else it needed to be, and it was all for some simple reason.

Temes didn't want to go home. She was homesick before and had been back there for a while, but returning home now and telling her family that the school was closed would be like throwing herself at the mercy of a wolf pack. Her siblings wouldn't understand anything she told them, about the school or anything else, and her parents would go back to lamenting how she was still just as much of a failure now as she was when they first sent her. She'd be at the mercy of the teeth and claws of her older and younger siblings, probably even those of her nieces and nephews should some of her older ones have had children in her absence. No matter how much she went to school or how much she got older, she was still very much a runt. The proof of that was that she hadn't grown at all since her first year at the academy despite turning a year older. If anything she'd lost weight, then gained, then worked to lose again.

This was her chance though, here and now, to prove her family wrong and show them that she was worth something. She selected the FEAR box, or at least the one students were allowed to have and charge up all on their own, and she moved a bit away so that no one else could get injured when she decided to attack. Her FEAR, while not seeming like it, actually acted a boost for her by making her appear larger. It was offensive which was what she needed, and the Chupacabra took a deep breath and thought about FEAR in the way that the late Professor Red had told her about it. It was that feeling deep in her stomach, that weird little ache that she had to grab on to and manifest if she wanted to get anywhere. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, she timed her breathing until the right moment and then reached out.

As she harnessed her FEAR Chuppi seemed to grow larger, her quills longer and sharper. She narrowed out, if that was possible, and looked as though she placed another foot on her height. It was all a rouse, all a part of her body in an effort to make herself look bigger and stronger. She couldn't handle the effects for too long since it ran on her adrenaline mostly (and Chuppi wasn't too scared or nervous at the moment) so a hand reached back and she struck the FEAR box as hard as she could. It lit up and looked rather decent, if her impact on it meant anything, and the monster looked around to see if she'd done anything worthwhile. Her FEAR was still in effect and her hand smarted a little bit, but at the very least she'd done something to assist the school, right?

Gathering the box in her hands she looked for where she was supposed to turn it in, to one of the teachers maybe? She hadn't really been listening that much to what they said and she only was repeating the actions she'd seen others doing. All of that was very much unlike Chuppi, to simply rush in to something without consideration for anything and everything. She always liked to take her time and think things through but maybe it was the threat of being sent home that had forced her hand in to spontaneous action? Just like the worries and cries of others had sent her running after that cloaked figure that day?

Wait. That figure.

Was all of this because of that figure, because of what they had done and how many students had died in that fire? If that was the case then Chuppi was more than glad to have helped her by sending her FEAR into a box, even something as simple as that. She probably should have done the writing though, if it were to help in the other fields, but at the very least Strength was something she knew she had and knew she could offer without hesitation.

Temes was going to help the school, one way or another.
