If you are choosing to do this exercise you cannot choose to take part in another exercise. It is assumed that you are on the Examination Grounds when you do this test, and that you are taking this exam ALONE. - You need an offensive Fear ability to participate - Roll THREE four-sided dice and rp out the results. If you roll a 4 it means your student knew this question (it can be made up as you wish, as long as it pertains to Halloween) and aced it, if you roll a one it means they didn't do so well... Tally your total at the bottom, this is your student's score. - After your student has completed it, just use the form below to "hand" the exam in - You CANNOT ask anyone else for help during this written exam! ))

It hadn't really taken much thought on Zurine's part when it came to deciding which exm she ought to take - anything with 'physical' in the description was just liable to be a complete and utter disaster as far as she was concerned. Sure she would have just had to use her fear on one of those little meter things..but she was pretty sure she still would have found a way to trip and fall flat on her face. No the written exam was far safer - and probably better for the school too.
Finding a spot still within the examination boundaries but far enough away from the other students to keep the sometimes heated words from distracting her while she wrote was a bit of a challenge. In the end she wound up sitting with her back to a part of the fence a bit off from the crowd while she fiddled with the penstrictor she'd grabbed and nervously opened up the examination booklet. Please oh please let the questions be ones that she knew...or at least ones that she could muddle her way through with a decent answer she begged silently before looking at the first question.
Question 1 - Give a brief summary on the historical beginnings of Halloween.
Well..it could have been worse, I mean at the very least she knew something about this, not only because of the brief time she had spent at the school but due to her own families histories which were a rather proud matter and passed down from generation to generation. Somewhat bolstered by this knowledge Zurine put her pen to the paper and began to write.
An untold number of millenia ago the citizens now of Halloween lived alongside the humans upon their world. The demons, monsters, ghosts and reapers of this time ruled and controlled the humans like pet's feeding and living off the fear their presence inspired in these lesser creatures.
And then one day the humans somehow discovered that the creatures they had been serving were not immortal and started an uprising. Sadly the humans outnumbered our kind due to unsupervised and abhorrent breeding practices and the creatures of Halloween soon realized that they could not stand against the uprising and fled from their former pets in fear. Due to this, these, our ancestors lost the ability to scare the humans and were stripped of their fear. On the verge of extinction they huddled together and wished with everything they had left for a safe harbor in which they might find sanctuary and from those wishes and the last vespers of fear within them..Halloween was born.
There - that ought to cover that question well enough Zurine thought to herself as she flipped the page to look at the next one. Sure she might have gone on with it..but she was pretty sure there was a time limit to this thing and she didn't want to be late handing in her paper. In any case it was time to turn her attention to the next question.
Question 2 - Explain why those of Halloween no longer kill humans as a matter of everyday life.
Well Zurine was pretty sure that there was a broader and farther reaching answer to this question then the one that popped into her head but try as she might the padfoot simply couldn't grasp the though that remained stubbornly hidden in her memory. Well..she knew her answer was at least mostly right - even if it wasn't the entire reason so she shrugged and wrote it down anyways.
Because there is a law against it unless you have a license.
It wasn't the longest answer in the world but some questions just didn't require a long explanation. Maybe she would remember the rest of the answer before she finished - it was best not to linger on it too long however and so she flipped the page to look at her last and final question.
Question 3 - How does one get into the Human World and what is required to do so?
Ah well Zurine knew this answer - it was something drummed into students fairly well quite early on and without much hesitation she put her penstrictor to the paper and started writing.
There are many doors to the human world scattered throughout Halloween, and each door - which is guarded by boogeymen - offers a nice selection of locations on the other side. In order to pass through the door one must have a passport.
Well there it was, the best she could do to help the school, rereading her answers and putting one last final finishing touch on them she spent a few more moments trying to recall the fact she still felt like she was forgetting for the second question - but when it didn't come to her and she was starting to get nervous about the time she had left Zurine sighed and flipped the booklet closed, putting her penstrictor back in her bag before standing and heading back towards the crowd so that she might turn her exam in.
Score - 11/12
