Hello everyone! Wardwood is close to opening and soon it'll be time to start holding events. Are there any themed events you'd be interested in seeing? These will mostly occur outside of the metaplot and the themes can be based on almost anything -- books, movies, festivals, etc. Good fodder for an interesting and diverse selection of guardian colors is a major plus!

Hmmm...
Desserts? [cheesecake, tiramisu, ice cream sundae, fruit salad, petit fours, etc]
Chocolates? [white, dark, milk, different truffles, etc]
Fruit? And/or Vegetables? [strawberry, watermelon, grapes(green and red, etc), squash, tomato, raspberry, etc?]
Flowers? [forget-me-nots, lilies, daffodils, morning glory, columbine, daisy, etc]
Tapestries? [I just looked at a rug and thought of this, would have to do some research to give great examples. xD;]
Mythology? That could be really interesting and ongoing. xD; You'd probably have to break it up a bit... [Zeus & Io, Persephone, Odysseus, Icarus, etc (could also be other than Greek, I just have Greek right now 'cause my class focused on it mostly...)]
Landscapes? [mountains, plains, ocean, hills, meadow, etc]
Bodies of Water? [ocean, sea, swamp, marsh, pond, etc]
Rain Forest creatures? [frogs, jaguar, tucan, sloth, etc]
Safari animals? [gazelle, giraffe, elephant, cheetah, etc]
OTHER animals? [...etc] ;D
I may have more later...

Arrghghargh awesome ideas, guys!
Unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with Endless Forest and Skyrim to be able to base events off them, but they look freaking amazing.
Birdy - LOL, I LOVE SHERLOCK. I just don't know how I would go about making that into guardians aside from the obvious Sherlock and John. Maybe more obscure/atmospheric stuff like a "London fog" guardian or something? Guardians based on the plots of the ACD stories? I am not sure!
I love both Princess Mononoke and The Last Unicorn (although granted it's been at least a decade since I've read/seen the latter, I need to dig out the book again) so those are definitely things to consider!
Mika and Abbacus, mythology would kick a**. Holy crap, there is so much you could do with Norse mythology, too.

Echoing the Mononoke suggestion and expanding it to any Miyazaki film... because Miyazaki is god. Enough said. Just the music alone is inspirational. xDD
Suggesting Shadow of the Colossus cause the colossi are epic as hell. * A* If you wanted to do some kind of earth guardians you can take ideas from them.

Skyrim is basically Norse culture anyways. XD Well, the Nords anyways...
Throwing Mongolian/Turk cultures out there because I dig them? throw more biases around mins And it'd be cool to see animals too I guess. Like, not deer with wings but markings like falcon/hawk markings? Spots like leopards..ect... mains like lions also bears for okku I mean. High fantasy? Mythical animals?!
Festivals! May day, All Hallows Eve, all that good stuff. 'Xmas, easter too I guess but those seem a little boring... 'v';;

You could do World of Warcraft events! like the Dragon aspects, or Mylune, Talbuks all turned into deer? it would be epic!

If you've ever read the book Fire Bringer by David Clement-Davies, I imagine some of the deer in that would make for - well, easily adapted guardians, at least. :>
Maybe an event based around music, as well? A particular band, or a wide sampling of genres. If there's a single band all the staff likes, that would make it very easy, lolol.

Actually, that might be interesting. Academia deer. Ha.
