I have come across something extraordinary in my travels. What appears to be a stone of... unique design. I'm sure the Elder Alpha would know what it is, but I can't go back, won't go back. I'll find out what it is on my own. I have to know whether my feelings are right, or if I'm an abomination like my pack says. I have to do this on my own.
... Well, maybe not completely alone. The little stone seems alive. Maybe teased by the spirits the Elder is always talking about. Guiding my destiny, or something like that. Maybe he's right. Maybe he's a whack job. I won't know either way until I figure this out for myself. This stone is a nice touch, though... What if it IS 'guiding my destiny'? What if this little thing I found actually serves a greater purpose?
It's warm in my hand. It feels... strange, holding it, but also quite relaxing. An... unusual feeling to be sure, but... Hey, what are Spirit Journeys for anyway, if not meeting and accepting the strange and wonderful? I'll just hang onto this stone.... Maybe it will be my salvation in this entire mess? Give me something to look forward to, to hang on to?
One can only hope.
