It was a bit much to show up in a fancy car, drop a few bags of food and then kind of ditch out seemed-
Douchy to say the least. He wasn’t poor and really, kind of sucked at this whole game of ‘charity’ thing. He promised Elzo he’d do some good while he was away. And it was donate food, or work in a soup kitchen. He remembered how well that had turned out. No, his culinary skills were to remain selective. (Besides the lack of just..healthy choices made him cringe. Butter. Butter in everything. So insane.). Still, he hadn’t any idea how to get bags from point A to point B. Three bags, two very heavy, one, not so much. The food had been kept at the Mercenary HQ, seeing as it was just one block away from a drop site at a small gift shop.
The one he’d chosen to call to help? Hypnos. It would be the first time they were to meet as civilians and- he hoped she wouldn’t think poorly of him for whatever reason. He liked her. She was sort of like a little sister that didn’t annoy him.

Ainsley had been anxious the whole way to the warehouse. She'd never met Pollux outside of her senshi form and the thought was both exciting and worrisome. Would she still be good enough to help him with his task while she didn't have the magical power that was embed with sleep? Certainly he wouldn't ask her of anything he wasn't sure she could do, but it didn't help calm over the waves of anxiety about meeting him. It was almost like she was meeting him for the first time!
Punctual within the minute, Ainsley opened the door of the warehouse and stepped inside. A small strawberry blonde with blue eyes had snuck inside of the warehouse. She was dressed head to toe in designer, brand name clothing. She hadn't picked out her normal wear, mostly due to the fact that it was getting cold outside, and instead of wearing a frilly dress with dress shoes on the child had decided to wear a knitted dress with leggings, a pair of boots and a little hat.
The child was quiet, her hands struggling with her hat as she looked around the warehouse. It was unusual for her to wear a hat because she disliked hat hair but it was part of the ensemble and her ears agreed with the warmth. She was inside though, and after pausing to look around the child slipped the hat off her head and then did her best to smooth out the hair on the top of her head to prevent any sort of hat hair was forming.
Oh where, oh where, could he be?

The sound of the door opening and peaking his head out from the back room, Marlo saw her. Well, he highly doubted regular little girls would just waltz right into random buildings, so her being Hypnos was a relatively high chance. "Hey there. Hypnos if I am not mistaken." Coming to the main room her smiled. "Pollux. But, Suppose I should tell you my actual name, Marlo Xanis."
Walking over, he knew he was being a bit more trusting than normal but-
Why the hell not. Not like people listened to kids these days and their crazy stories anyhow. A hand reach out to shake. "Nice to meet you as a civilian. I hope it's not to much trouble, me asking your help."

Ainsley hadn't been surprised when an older man appeared out of the back and announced her senshi name to her. She didn't know this man, and she'd never seen him before in her life but it had to be Pollux so when he said he was Pollux, she wasn't surprised but there was most definitely a behind the curtain relief settling in.
She gave him a curtsy, and smiled at him softly before curiously looking at his outstretched hand. She was looking quite intently at it as she seemed to be trying to decide just what to do with it, and after a moment she held her hand out lightly to him in the most ladylike manner she was capable of. It most definitely wasn't any trouble... not when Ainsley practically lived to help people.
"Marlo Xanis, it's not any trouble. It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Ainsley McMahon."

A light handshake. Sorry about the no gentlemanly kisses Ainsley, he'd make it up in other ways. Probably with a stuffed animal or a cute hair tie. "Nice to meet you Ainsley. The bags are in the back. One lighter than the other. Just give me a second." Leaving the room for a moment he return, dropping one bag down he quickly grabbed the other. the one on the floor was obvious not as full. The other two however, were close to overflowing.
"As you can see, not very easy to have me carry them at the same time. It's a short walk, but, an excuse to meet you in person I suppose. I was told it helps comradeship." A smile. "You look nice by the way. Are you going somewhere later?" Aside from to the drop site.

Ainsley was a little bit disappointed but this was Pollux and time after time he said he wasn't a prince. She refused to believe it, but even if he didn't he could at least act like the gentleman he was! Either way, she was happy just to be able to meet him in person even if there was a tiny bit of a scowl on her face. It certainly didn't seem to belong there, but neither did those wide smiles children seem to have.
There it was though, the hope in the distance. A compliment, how gentlemanly of him to notice her outfit! It certainly made up for the disappointment because if there was one thing Ainsley loved: it was fashion. She loved to model for anyone who would point a camera at her, to watch other model, to dress up, to get clothes. It was recent but lately Ainsley was beginning to really appreciate the simple, or not so simple, task of dressing herself. There were so many beautiful clothes she could wear and when someone noticed and then complimented her outfit, well, it brought sheer joy to the child.
Immediately she picked up the smaller bag, holding her tongue for a moment as she cherished it. It took a moment but then she looked at Marlo and smiled very softly. It wasn't much but it was a lot better than the near scowl she'd had on her face.
"Thank you," she replied briefly.
There was a pause as she thought about if there was anything else she would be doing today.
"No where in particular," she said in reply. She had heard that Santa had set up his workshop in the mall though and it was a small thought but she thought that maybe she'd sneak over to Santa's workshop and visit him and his elves. She'd been a really good girl this year, hadn't she? She had helped so many people! Had Santa seen her? She knew what her classmates thought about the subject: that he wasn't real. It wasn't new gossip for most children her age, but she had been home schooled up until this year so it hadn't exactly made its way down the grapevine to her.
Still, it didn't matter how many people said so because Ainsley refused to believe such things. There was no way that they were right because her ideal was so clearly presented by the fact that magic was very much real. If there could be senshi and all the other things she had seen then how could there not be a Santa Claus? There had to be! Maybe the one at the Workshop wasn't really Santa but he had to be real... somewhere. The world was vast after all.
"Shall we go?" She asked, a smile on her face as turned back to look at him before she begun to walk away from him.
