Marlo like fashion. And not in that over the top way. He liked to look good. Presentable. He liked having nice things, (even if Elzo might be a reason why he wasn’t allowed to have nice things growing up). And even if it was winter, sunglasses were always, (and he meant always) in style. The sun didn’t just up and vanish after all. And it being winter, while sunglasses might be hard to find, more often than not they could be on sale.
Designer shades, on sale, and not due to a change in fashion. Just seasons. Aside from that, he was going to be going back to Italy soon, and s**t there was just overly expensive. He’d buy his shades here. Or he would if they stopped being the god ugly styles that were just like bricks for frames and cellophane for lenses. Really, did no one have anything of quality?
His prayers were answered as he walked into Pac Sun. Thank goodness that it hadn’t closed. Or that it wasn’t filled with s**t. True, not much for his style of fashion, but for something like sunglasses, he was alright with. It seemed he wasn’t the only one aiming for the shades as another man was spinning the display, looking for a pair himself. “You don’t mind if I just get by you here? Like to look at the sunglasses myself.” Damn small isles. When would stores learn people were not twigs?

"Nah, I dont mind. Here, have you look." Sedna offered, when an unknown male walked up alongside him. Sedna had been trying to decide over which sunglasses to buy or so for a while, staring critically in the mirror. But he noticed sveeral strange glances along the way-- Obviously, they didn't understand the value of sunglasses during all the seasons.
But this male did. Huh.
Sedna shifted to the side, adjusting the sunglasses to fit the bridge of his noise .. This one just didn't look right .. That was always the frustrating part, when it looked good but just not right. Sometimes, the ones you would never look at just looked perfect. "You're a cool one. I thought I was the only guy who liked sunglasses in the winter-- How does this look, by the way?"
Sedna believed Marlo's opinion was going to be an informed one.

Ah thank goodness polite being still existed in the world and were not complete myth. "Thank you. People tend to fail to grasp the idea of when to buy. And the logic of sunglasses in winter in general. Snow can reflect the light and make it more intense." And give you a nasty sunburn. He'd been there, done that, never planned on it again.
"Hm-" The other man wanted his opinion? Well, since he asked. "Too wide of the frames. Aside from coming off as feminine as that's more the trend for them, it's bulky on the sides, making it borderline comical." Picking up his own pair, he set them on only to glance at himself and make a face. "Ugh. I hate it when they look good on the rack yet look terrible on my face."

"Yeah. The problem with buying them online. The best way to go is the Maison incognito ones." Sedna pointed out, grinning. "I have a pair of those myself." He remarked proudly, those specific pairs being rather uncommon through Destiny City. He gave the sunglasses on hs face a disgusted look, realizing that everything the other male said was right on par. Ugh, the flaw of being informed. It also also a blessed virtue.
He slid the pair back onto the rack, withdrawing a more discreet one from the bottom. "That one looks too big for your face, man." He pointed out, wondering why the store had such a small selection. The less, the worse it was.

Agreeing, He put the glasses back where they belonged. No where near his face. "Really? I feel that they are a little bit over the top for me, but I will admit, they do has a charm and style to them. The good kind though. Not like-" He motioned to one of the over the top ornate things that was trying to pass itself off as 'fashionable'. "-That. Ah-" He looked at the pair the other man had bought. "Nice, hold on to that one while you look at others."
Picking up another pair he tried those on. A bit round in the lenses, he wasn't sure if they suited him or not. Another glance at him and - "By any chance, did you work in a hotel for a time?" The guy looked somewhat familiar, but nothing 'shocking'.
