He knocked on Robert's door, a gleam across his glasses reflecting his deadly serious intent.

Robert opened his door.
He was not naked, this time.
He was, however, quite unhappy to see Jerry, as Petra was asleep on his bed, and Robert did not appreciate being away from her. He groaned, rubbing his face, and walked outside, closing the door behind him.
"What now, Cosmo? If you're lookin' for condoms, I ain't got any. We don't use that s**t."

"No, thank you, although I'm happy to say my love life with Candace is going splendidly, we have more pressing matters to discuss." Without even taking note of the occupant in the room, Jerry's weapon was suddenly on his shoulder, aimed directly at Robert's head. "Like my choir. And how you're going to join it."

"JERRY YOU STUPID SON OF A b***h-"
Robert smacked the cannon out of the way of his face, and opened his door up again, grabbing his jacket and storming out the door. He slammed it shut, and wrapped his arm around the other man's waist. "Swear to God if you keep whipping it out on me at my doorstep I'm gonna rip that thing right off you one day and throw you through a wall. WHY CAN'T YOU EVER WAIT UNTIL WE'RE OUTSIDE!?
He dropped Jerry (like a stone) on the floor the moment they were outside, and briefly considered kicking some sense into that head of his, even as he pulled Jezebel out of his pocket and summoned her into his ******** stupid.."

Jerry blinked at the sight of Petra on the bed for just a brief moment before the door was snapped shut and he was hoisted. At least it didn't give him time to dwell. HIS MISSION remember his mission! He tried not to make a noise as his still healing wounds sparked with pain at the sudden grab. "I mean it this time, Robert!" He managed, flailing until he was dropped, Roar clattering in the grass as he tried to scramble to his feet, straightening his glasses indignantly.

Robert gave the man an odd look, before waving his batleth recklessly at Jerry's body. There was no smooth dancing to his moves tonight. "And what, you didn't mean it last time?" He challenged, pulling back after he'd connected with flesh.

"Last time I thought I could just talk sense into you," Jerry huffed, recoiling from the blow just in time to scramble for his weapon... Unfortunately in the act of attempting to not get his head cut off by the flying blade, his glasses went skittering to the grass. "Blast!" So much for trying to keep his cool.

"Sense?" Robert chuckled out. "Jerry, it's like you don't even know me."
He wasted no time, clearly irritated that he'd been pulled away from Petra for this. "I ain't never had any sense, man." The batleth was wielded like a bat, and he swung it at Jerry's left side, then his right side, and then repeated the actions.
"Sense. Ha! Back where I come from, you want something, you beat it out of me. So come on, Jerry! Get up! Beat it out of me!"
The laugh he bellowed was coarse, and cold. So unlike his normal laughter.

Jerry didn't have time to react, nor even find his glasses as the blows came, knocking him down over and over each time he tried to scramble to his feet. His hands did find Roar, though, and with a snarl, he rolled over, aiming the cannon up in the direction the blows had come from, "Maybe you SHOULD use more sense!" He spat, "And people would LIKE YOU MORE!" He fired, hoping to blow Robert back and buy him some time to find his eyes.

The cannon blast hit him right in the stomach, and the words hit him just as hard, right in his pride. When he fell to the ground, he growled like an animal, his eyes dark and cruel. "Wow, Jerry." He stumbled back up to his feet, taking some slow but very deliberate steps towards the man. "I know you really want to convince me to join your choir?"
The batleth rose up like a guillotine.
"BUT INSULTING ME IS NOT GONNA CONVINCE ME ANY HARDER."
The slice was clean across the body, Jezebel's sharpest edge gleaming hungrily. She let out a soft, satisfied sigh when it connected with Jerry's body.

All amusement and merriment was gone from Jerry's scarred face, his breathing quickened as he took the hit, staggering backward. This wasn't about the choir anymore, not really. He snorted, gritting his teeth as he fired another blast.

Jerry had gone quiet, and this was absurdly strange to Robert. His teeth clacked together menacingly, as he swung his batleth one more time.
"What's wrong, Jerry? Cat got your tongue? Stick it out, I'll cut it off for ya!"

Jerry winced, gripping his chest and Roar drooped just enough to miss Robert completely as he staggered.
What are you DOING? Jackin' hell, Jerr. If you aren't going to take this seriously, even when it's something stupid-
"It's not stupid," He whispered under his breath. Maybe he should have let himself heal a bit longer... but as he lay in the hospital bed, he had been doing a lot of thinking. A lot. He glowered at Robert, something clearly brewing behind those glasses.

Robert stared unhappily at the other man, jabbing his chest with the point of the batleth blade. "Oi." He grumbled. "I didn't say it was stupid. If all of this was stupid, I wouldn't bother fighting you for it, would I? If it's worth it, get up, and bring me down."
The sincerity in his voice abruptly ended and his cocky grin suddenly returned, as if he hadn't had a moment of clarity.

"I wasn't talking to you!" The usually bubbly, friendly man snapped, swinging Roar to at least try to get Robert to stop prodding him, even if he failed to hit him with his quills.
Jeeze, what the hell's gotten into you today? Actin' like you're on your monthly.

Wait.... wait is this about that naked ghoulie? You have one of your own you know.
Jerry hesitated, but the thoughts that crossed his mind were exactly what Roar needed to hear.
