Leilani stretched as she woke for the day. It was another pleasant day, although she could feel the cooler air coming. This was not welcomed in her eyes, because it meant that the beautiful spring and summer flowers would probably go dormant for the winter. Then what was there to do, sleep all winter? She knew that she had better enjoy the time she had enjoying the flowers. Today she planned to make it to a meadow area that she had not been before. As she walked, she wondered if today might be the day she had always hoped for. Would she finally meet a flutter. "Nah" she laughed off under her breath, but still wondered if it might be true.
As she made it to the meadow, she looked around, and as she figured, didnt see any flutters around. That didn't mean they were not playing among the flowers, but she still didn't have high hopes. it had been this long after all.
Leilani found a small clearing and decided to lay there and enjoy the smell of the virbant flowers, something she could do all day long, which was usually an option for her.

Tsong was sometimes really glad that he was a Flutter; he could spend hours at a time small, tucked up in the petals of some flower and really enjoy the company of flowers while he was alone. He was asleep while a mare approached his flower patch, and didn't notice for the longest time.
It wasn't until the mare poked her head at his flower, making the poor thing shake did the stallion wake up with a start. Tsong flew up into the sky, fluttering around the mare, somewhat irritated.
Since he was still small, Tsong spoke with someone of a high frequency, soft voice. "Why... Why are you here disrupting my sleep?" Tsong couldn't imagine the mare having any malicious intent, but the stallion was more than grump from being awaken so rudely.

Leilani's heart skipped a beat. She could feel it, for certain. She had spent so many days searching for something... A noise, a voice, or something move... among the flowers. Had she really heard something this time. She had hoped her ears had not been deceiving her. "What?" she cried out, before thinking about the words she had heard. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry for disturbing you." she apologized, as she continued to sniff the flowers around where she had believed to heard the voice.

Tsong was still frowning as the mare continued to talk. He knew that all of this was partially his fault because he didn't like abrupt awakenings, but at least he had some sleep. He let out a small sigh, well, an even smaller sigh in his mini-form.
In a blink of an eye, Tsong fluttered around and grew back to his normal size. It was still small compared to other breeds, even females. "I guess it's okay; I'm pretty sure you didn't do it on purpose." He grinned at her despite his sleepiness.
