Adventurous, Curious, Outgoing. Those were all words that Cami had once thought described her. There was a time when nothing scared her. Back home, she was always the one looking for new and dangerous adventures.
So who was this girl fiddling with her shirt, hesitating outside her own door?! Just what was the fearless Cami so afraid of? What is the hold up, Mine? Leith asked, after bumping into the back of her legs. Nothing! It's just.. there's so many people in there!
That's right. The thing that scared Cami was not thread or flying, but girls. She had grown up her whole life around the same dozen or so family members. She never realized how intimidating large groups could be. And she didn't know anyone! she fretted. They were probably all friends already, while Cami was never even a candidate here. She was new, an outsider, and yet she came in and stole away one of their dragons? Surely they would all hate her!
Stole? Who stole? Cami you are so ridiculous. You were always mine to begin with.
That said, with a decisive snort Leith stormed past her and entered the barracks, leaving Cami to shuffle in after her. She could hear chattering from behind the door. Well, it made sense; everyone must be excited from impressing. She took a step inside the door and a deep breath, and then, "Um! I'm Cami everyone. Nice to meet you!" she said suddenly.

Lorend couldn't believe she'd Impressed. Well it was to be expected after all. The dragonette in question as sitting daintily in her new wallow. She glanced over at the green with a grin. Now that she had a dragon she could move up in the world. No more candidate barracks for her. Nope now the weyrling barracks would suffice until they were adults and able to claim a weyr of their own.
As such, the young tomboy had moved her stuff over. Clothes and toiletries had been tucked away, along with the items for caring for her Tribleth. Lorend held a couple jars which usually held bugs and crawlies, but were sadly empty at the moment. She set them on the shelf 'til she could get them refilled. Other jaws, with occupants, went lower into the darker and cooler places. Just because she had a dragon didn't mean she'd stop her pranks. Boys would be boys right?
Tribleth drew her attention away from Hers as another dragonette entered. She chirped sweetly at the other dragon. Mine, mine, someone enters. Her tail curled around her feet. Lorend pushed hair out of her eyes and looked over. Well if that didn't sound awkward! She scrutenized the new pair.
