Appearance Elliot is tall, barely a hair over six feet, and well built, as all men of the forge must be. His hair is a dark brown that could be very easily mistaken for black, and it is always just as messy as the rest of him; It is a rare moment when he is clean and lacking the ever-present cover of dirt, ash, and sweat that he wears like a badge of honor. If you look at his hands you will see that they are calloused and often-used, scattered with small scars given to him by runaway embers and smithing accidents, as are his arms. He has one solitary facial scar--a vertical mark on his lower lip that he received from a runaway wooden splinter many years ago. Although his appearance may be at first intimidating, his blue eyes are as gentle as his smile, which he will show you with great generosity.
In dress he is practical, wearing only what he needs and nothing more. A partially-unbuttoned white linen shirt is often accompanied by loose black pants that extend a short ways past his knee. There they are met by and often tucked into his thick leather boots, which protect him in part from potential broken bones when an anvil or workpiece get knocked down. While he is working he always wears a leather apron for further protection.
History Elliot is an only child who has always lived alone with his father, as his mother died in childbirth. From him he learned the ways of the blacksmith, and was prepared throughout his life to someday take over the forge. However, Elliot is not a well-behaved son. He is prone to ditching his duties and running away to go play with the children in the fields or explore the Woodward forest, much to the disdain of his father.
The following is my vision for how his Choosing might play out, although this is subject to change as I RP him more:
It was on one of those such days that he felt the pull of the Choosing, though he did not even realize it all at once. To him it simply felt like a good day to play beneath the trees, and so he did. He will not speak of how his encounter played out, but by nightfall just a few days later he returned home a changed man, with a small totem in his hand and a newfound drive to do what his father had always wished him to.

Kvinne
Not relevant to the present Elliot, but this is how I imagine his guardian and their relationship to be in his future:
Kvinne is simultaneously a mother figure and a best friend to Elliot. She is a comfort to him when he is in distress, and a companion to ease the lonely pain of his days at work. Although she cannot help him in his duties, she will often drop wood into the fire when it grows dim, since her bonded companion often forgets to in his single-track focus on his work.
In all of her movements she is graceful on a level you'd expect only from a human woman well-versed in the etiquette of the time. It is because of this first and foremost that those who look upon her can instantly tell she is no ordinary deer the blacksmith's son drags around. Her eyes too are otherworldly. They are a warm golden hue, and if you looked into them you might swear she was smiling at you.
