1. Harry Potter series: J.K Rowling
2. Chronicles of the Kings: Lynn Austin
3. Legends of the Guardian-King: Karen Hancock
4. The Strongbow Saga: Judson Roberts
5. Aubrey-Martin Series: Patrick O'Brien

5. Aubrey-Martin Series: Patrick O'Brien Well I have yet to read a single page of any of these. My wife however reads quite a bit of fantasy stories. I am certain she would suggest that R.A Salvatore and the Lone Drow series be added to this list.

I'm not too keen on series, I much prefer standalone books for some reason. But I suppose my favorite would have to be Weetzie Bat By: Francesca Lia Block. The dream-state like storytelling is amazingly immersive cat_mrgreen I highly recommend them!

Have you guys read that book... With Necromancers? And there is a special group of them called the Abhorsens? O3O Something like that? XD

The Green Rider Series - Kristen Britain
Memory, Sorrow and Thorn Trilogy- Tad Williams
Percy Jackson and The Olympians Series - Rick Riordan
Heralds of Valdemar Series - Mercedes Lackey
Abhorsen Trilogy - Garth Nix
