Laeh splashed about in the shallow banks of the lake, grunting and growling as she thrashed about. "You can't have me, siren! I will not be pulled down to the depths! Not when there's treasure to be claimed."
She sunk under the water for a moment before jumping out with a loud roar. "Begone, siren! Your song will not sway me!" Running on the shore, Laeh jumped over rocks and rolled down the bank. "The sunken ship is down there! How do we get it men? Any volunteers?" Silence met her, of course and she laughed. "Very well then, more treasure for me!'
Laeh dove into the water and swam around, laughing and yelling as she fought off imaginary foes.

Ripples, bubbles, and loud giggles met the speeding little seathi's ears as she propelled herself through the cool waters. What could it possibly be? The most exciting thing the small water horse had encountered that day was getting to scare a school of colorful fish and watching them scatter and their scales flash in the bright waters.
The red mare inched her way to the shallows, nearing the ripples, bubbles and sand were thick here and she had to peek above the waters surface to see what was causing it. Pink and peach colors met her eyes and she grinned in excitement. Perhaps this was someone she could play with? Coral sincerely hoped so, it would certainly brighten her day. Getting as close as she dared she lifted a hoof and pawed at the water. "What treasure did you find?" She grinned and hoped to get to play.

Laeh turned around at the sound of a voice. Crouching down, she came nose to nose with the mare before her, eyes widened. "Are you a shark?" She almost danced with excitement. A shark! A real shark! She stood up right and took a few steps back, properly checking the girl over. Not a shark, after all.
"Haven't found any treasure, yet. Too far down, the ship is. I can't hold my breath for that long."
Laeh paused for a moment before breaking out into a smirk, her eyes sparkling. "But a fishy like you wouldn't have a problem." Laeh puffed her chest out. "Whaddya say? Wanna be part of my crew? Treasure hunters galore. I'm the leader, of course. You can be in charge of aquatic exploration."
Laeh jumped into the water, paddling into the deeper waters. She dunked her head under, peering into the depths. The sun pierced the water just enough to create a glint off of the metal that was down there. Rising back up, Laeh pointed. "It's only something small, by itself. But it's shiny. Might be worth more than a whole ship of jewels. We can split it."

Coral grinned and shook her head, thinking it silly. Of course she wasn't a shark, she didn't have countless rows of huge sharp teeth to gnash someone to pieces with. That and she had her mane, sharks didn't have manes. And they were gray or brown, or other murky colors. She had yet to encounter a bright red shark. "Nope! No shark here! I'm a seathi! My name is Coral." She grinned at the mare and used her hooves to dig into the sand and follow her until she could properly swim.
Coral excitedly agreed to be the underwater explorer, thinking this could be the best fun she had had in quite some time. "Of course! We will be like pirates!" She closed one of her eyes and scrunched up her face. "Arrr, ye'll be wantin what lays beneath the sea!" And she relaxed her face and collapsed into a fit of giggles.
Taking a peek down when the mare dunked her head under she saw what their prize to be was, the glinting object rested in the sands at the bottom. She popped her head up with the mare and listened. "Aye, Capn'!" And before she could speak any more she was diving down toward the object, her tail propelling her downward.

Laeh nodded, her face stern, though cracks showed in her composure as she tried not to laugh. "Alright, Coral. I'm Captain Laeh. We'll find more treasure after this. Something bigger, shinier and worth more."
Laeh giggled as the seathi dove under water. This was a GREAT adventure, especially now she wasn't the only one having it. She wiggled and sat in the water, splashing about, waiting patiently for the treasure to surface. And Coral too, of course.
Ah, having a fish on your side was a great treasure, indeed. Coral would be able to discover all sorts of treasures. Marvelous. Laeh poked her head under water, looking for Coral in the depths.
