The blonde girl sat in place, casually glancing to the guy cutting off her cast. She really wasn't all that intimidated by the small cutter and she was easily able to hold still. Ellie worked with more dangerous tools on a daily basis when she was able to work on vehicles. Of course, she was a bit out of practice now with that amount of time that passed with her only being able to use one arm.

"And... there we go..." The technician, now done with his job, turned off the cutter and set it to the side before assisting the girl out of her cast. Of course, the moment the front was off, Ellie quickly used her good arm to cover up her chest. However, it wasn't necessary. She had woken up from her accident in the cast, but apparently there was some sort of cover underneath the cast that kept her upper body covered.

The technician couldn't help but laugh at Ellie's reaction to the removal of the cast. "Don't worry, I'm not going to see your cupcakes! Now... your left arm is still going to be a bit weak, but the doctor said that you definitely healed up perfectly. You will probably need to come to the hospital for a bit of rehabilitation... but just try to avoid any heavy lifting with your left side."

As if to test the limb, Ellie wriggled her fingers slightly. It felt weird to have her arm now dangling down to her side rather than perched up against her will. "This sh*t is weird..." Curling her fingers up to form a loose fist, she attempted to lift her arm up. She managed to get it up maybe one quarter of the way before her arm fell back limply next to her side.

The technician whistled slightly in an impressed manner. "Well, it seems you are better off than some!"

"...I guess..." the blonde sighed out in a half convinced tone. Once she was all checked out, the girl walked back to her home.

During the journey, she tried to actively swing her left arm so that she could at least get some movement back into that tired limb. Of course, her efforts got some results, but not the sort of results the tomboy would have preferred. "At least I can get back t'work now... Hank has no excuse to keep me away from the counter at least." Back when she started at Hank's Garage as an employee, she loathed being stuck in the front of the shop. She had wanted to work in the back with the vehicles. Yet now, after being "grounded" for so long, she would just kill to have anything to do outside of her house. Something was better than nothing.

Soon enough she had cut through the city, through the park, and was walking down the sidewalk back to her house. She could see the gravel that decorated her front yard, but before she could walk to the house, she noticed something at the street.

"...I thought we already got th'mail fer today?" There was a slip of pale blue paper sticking out of the edge of the mailbox. With a partial shrug (full shrug on her right shoulder and a partial on her left), she walked up to the box and tugged the handle down to take a look at the piece of paper. There were only two words on the paper.

Welcome back!

"...what?" Gold eyes blinked in confusion at the message, but before she closed the mailbox back up, she noticed something else was in the back of the box. Without any sort of hesitation, she reached back and pulled out a very familiar pen with golden wings adorning the top of it. Her face couldn't help but grin as wide as she possibly could.

"Thank you, *********!" No longer was she just stuck as Ellie Spectre anymore. Now she could truly return to act as a captain for her team.

She could now return as Sailor Iris, Senshi of Rainbows.
