xxxxxA light breeze blew gently across the plains, bringing with it bits of dust and old feathers that had been left behind from years and years of creatures living around the area. The sun was only just beginning to rise, bringing with it the promise of a glorious new day. Many Soquili woke up early in the morning to start their days on a bright note. One of them just so happened to be Soren, who made sure that each and every morning he was on the plains so he could watch the sun rise from the best spot in the area. His eyes blinked open to the coming light and the stallion shook his head slightly, as if to make sure he wasn't too stiff from the night's rest. He opened his jaw slightly to let a soft yawn escape and, for the first time that day, looked to the east to see the sun rising up above the horizon.
xxxxxSoren's wings opened out into a huge stretch as he shook his large body. Immediately, he felt energized. He tossed his head with a gentle smile and kicked off into a fast trot, moving himself to an opportune spot to graze. For a few days, he had been in one of the biggest clover patches he could fine, enjoying himself like no one would believe. Often times, he was alone when he was out on the plains. It never bothered him at all, though it was a bit odd. He was very friendly and had an appetite for adventure, so the lack of it was out of his character. Soren was often found exploring caverns in the mountains and treading through streams simply for the sake of seeing where he would end up.
xxxxxAs he found his grazing patch, he slowed to a walk. It took only moments for his head to dip to the ground. Soren was not about to waste the chance for some perfectly good breakfast. And lunch. And dinner. Knowing him and the lack of other Soquili around, he would end up on the plains all day. Maybe he would be motivated to go explore elsewhere, like the village. Lots of Soquili had made the village their home so they could live peacefully with their humans. He had never had a human or come in contact with one for that matter, but he failed to have any sort of issue with them. Everyone seemed to be equal in his mind. His golden eyes glanced up for a moment, leading him into picking his head up off the ground. With a content sigh, he tilted his muzzle into the air and inhaled, seeking the scent of another Soquili.
