I remember my short stint in the military. I'd just turned eighteen, and hadn't yet developed the rippling muscles that would later become my trademark-- I figured joining the service would be a great way to make a man of myself.
It ended as quickly as it started when I shot myself in the foot during basic training and had to be sent home to recover. I’m glad it worked out that way, as my long convalescence gave me plenty of time to hit the books and hone the accounting skills that made me who I am today.
