Personality:

Hero complex - The guy knows what he's doing is mental but does it anyway. Dillon is the type to rush into danger to drag his friends out but is kind enough to constantly remind himself that he's being an idiot and jeopardizing his chances of survival (Somehow his survival instincts lose out to his moments of foolish bravado, most of the time). But yes, ultimately he does step in to save/ attempt to save people though he's less noble about it. Does he do it to receive praise and admiration? He hasn't quite sorted that bit out with himself yet.

Rescue-time examples: Eta VIII and Eta III

Self-depreciating - Dillon has been an all-rounded, mediocre student all his life and he absolutely hates it. Good but not good enough, dull. While he does acknowledge that there is some merit in being a jack of all trades, he feels that others do not appreciate such a quality in a person (college apps, etc). Basically, he's a guy who isn't happy with himself or just really lacks the confidence to see his worth.

Unconvincing positive reinforcement - there is only so much encouragement Dillon can get from a deadpan Inez. "Sure" "Uh huh" "Yea" and sometimes, "Quit your moping boy." Only on very rare occasions does she actually try to cheer him up / convince him that he's doing a good job.

Still attached to him - Inez panics just a little whenever Dillon decides to join the fray (see above). She chides him in a worried tone when he gets hit / hurt and will probably cry if he comes close to dying.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Death solooooo basically, he wants to prove that he's good at something and not just okay. More than anything, he wants to snap out of being just mediocre.


Weapon Ability
Dillon whips the extended snake sword around him such that it encircles him and upon his discretion, the chain connecting each sword segment disappears and the blades fly out towards the opponent.
