The sun was shinning and a light breeze rose up from between the tree branches. A lone serpent creature roamed the grassy fields, feeling the breeze between her fangs. Her long black, red, and white feathers danced as she looked towards the horizon. Her piercing red eyes were watching the birds float around from branch to branch. She was craving a worthy opponent, but she could never find one that would put her down or land a hit. Her demonic wings were set against her sides as her long tail flickered back and forth.

It felt like it had been ages since Kori last set her eyes upon another soul. Bored and agitated over such a fact, her claws kneaded the earth below her as she took each step forward. Each stride was exaggerated and almost clumsy looking, and even Kori didn't pay attention to the direction of which she walked. Couldn't she run in to somebody, anybody, that would soothe her cravings for interactions and prankster-ism? Someone who she could either rough up or just play a harmless trick on? Please, just something that could help get rid of her boredom! She would love to just use her brutal, honest, opinions in a conversation just about now, just to help pass the hungry claws that struck away at her insides with the craving to interact. Why did such horrible things like this always have to happen to her? All she wished for was a simple meeting, even just the sighting of another person in this desolate field!
And with luck, she spotted such a person. What an odd sight it was! Kori saw a long, swishing scaly tail lashing about, followed by feathers [wow, quite like her head feathers!] and even two glinting fangs. It was a rather unattractive sight, at least in her eyes. But she didn't care about how or what it looked like, all Kori cared about was the fact that someone else actually was existing in this current area. Oh, thank everything! She thought desperately to herself. who knew what kind of fun she could have with this one? It was all soon to come, that was for sure!
"My, my, you're a rather odd looking thing, aren't you?" Kori called out to the other female, her head held high and her tail in a relaxed state resting behind her body. She even flashed a cocky smile to the other female, however she couldn't tell what expression it gave off. It was all too natural to make such a smile, for she knew she was the most important person, anyway, and she knew of her own skills.

The serpent's eyes narrowed at the sight of another being. A deep and low growl radiated from this creature. "Odd? You must of not seen yourself..." It hissed from between it's long fangs. "Are you wanting to get your feather torn out or would you rather have a taste of this wind serpent's wrath?" Asking the blue and white being. The creature was no other than Fyglia, a proud Wind Serpent. She was the only one of her kind, unless she found a suitable male to extend the bloodline. Her dark eyes watched the creature closely.
"I believe you should just crawl back to whatever hole you crawled out from..." Hissing as her expression became hateful and cold. Her wings extended as she felt prideful, since she never knew when to back down or give up on a fight. Her body build was made for power and flight, but not much for speed.

"Excuse me?" Kori's voice rung firm and monotone, completely appalled by the fact that this strange new female dared to talk down to her. "You heard me, I said you were odd looking. You should be grateful, that's considered a compliment coming from me. How dare you turn that down?" Now, her eyebrows furrowed and her tail lashed about behind her viciously. What an ungrateful biotch! How dare she turn down such a wonderful compliment and greeting! "Are you dull? Of course I have seen myself; I'm gorgeous, plain and simple. Duh, who didn't think such a thing? All of the meaningless, unrelated questions that this stranger spat into her face [at least this is how it felt for her] only further pissed her off, causing her to draw her canine teeth and snarl feverishly. "Are you serious? Come on, nobody could be that stupid. Instead of asking me such foolish questions, I should be asking you some, and ones that are actually relative. Would like to walk away now and keep your humility, or would you rather I rip you up to shreds? I assure you, my claws are not as forgiving as my words, and I rarely give people the option to quit ahead of time." If this snakeish other had any sort of brain in its empty head, surely it would take Kori up on the wonderfully generous offer that was given to her.
