Zirconia was trotting along the sidewalk with something of a spring in her step. Maybe it was just because as a cat, winter was what she was built for and she had found the weather more enjoyable or just becuase the current events of senshi drama had been less catastrophic and more mildly annoying lately, but she was feeling better than she had in a few months.
Especially since that Mauvian fiasco was over.
This sudden lifting of constant worry had given way to an old past time she had partaken in earlier in spring: Harassing knights. Yeah, she made it seem more official by claiming it was an investigation, but they were still weird and new-ish and something of a mystery to her. Being as old as she was with most of her memories intact, she thought she had a very good understanding of how the universe worked, even parallel ones, but then suddenly these knight people show up and ruin everything!
So it went without saying that when she sensed one near she took a sharp change of direction and darted towards it as fast as her four legs would take her.

Celsus was, to say the least, freezing.
There was really no difference between the winters in Destiny City compared to the ones in London, but Celsus did not really like the cold either way - or the heat, for that matter. As one of those people who preferred to be just right, either way it was a lose lose situation.
Especially since he was only just barely recovering from his bout with Requiem. He debated taking a night off, simply to recuperate - it was still a bit painful to even walk - but Celsus was determined that, no matter the case, he would still do his duty.
Even if it was taking him ten minutes longer to walk down the street since he was moving at a snail's pace.
The good thing was that Celsus was no longer a cat, either. While it had been interesting at first, as time had passed it had grown increasingly more frustrating, until Fritz had almost wept with relief at finally becoming himself again.
Except not quite, but needless to say he was pleased.
Now Celsus was leaning against a low brick wall, debating whether or not he wanted to lift himself up to sit on it and take a break for a few moments - his body still ached.
There was a faint noise drawing nearer, and the faintest tinge of a power signature, though Celsus could not quite distinguish who or what it was - it was so very suppressed that he thought he had imagined it, tensing his fingers a bit tighter on the wall, but what appeared in his view was not a senshi, nor a Negaverse agent.
It was a cat - though not *********, who was, so far, the only cat that Celsus had seen. He gave it a mildly scrutinizing look, lifting a brow.
"Good evening."

"Hello!" Zirconia said as soon as she caught a glimpse of the knight she was sensing. This time she didn't need the interrogation to find out which senshi he was aligned with; She recognized the symbol of Chronos pretty quickly from her brief meeting with the princess and her time in the surrounding.
"So even Chronos has knights..." She commented, mostly to herself as she moved around him in a half circle, carefully inspecting the uniform. He certainly wasn't acting like it was very warm, which made her all the more grateful for the thick, fluffy fur she sported, built especially for winter. It was almost worth practically melting during the summer.
"So what's your name? How long have you been around?" If she hadn't been so preoccupied, she might've noticed he was around during that meeting in the Surrounding to figure out what to do about the Dark Mirror Senshi, but alas, she was preoccupied with screaming at Castor.

That voice.
Fritz recognized that voice, even if she would not recognize him as Celsus. And now that he looked closer, he could see quite clearly that her coloring was the same as the woman he had met in the Surrounding so long ago.
He almost greeted her normally, Why, hello, Zirconia right on the tip of his tongue before it dissipated, Celsus biting back the words just before they were actually spoken. He could not afford to be so casual so easily, after all, even if this was someone he knew.
Especially if it was someone he knew.
"Ah, yes," said Celsus with a twinkling smile, eyes glinting with amusement as he looked down at the cat as she padded around him with an appraising sort of movement. "It's new, I'm afraid."
He ducked into a low bow, stretching one arm out while the other pressed against his midsection.
"Celsus, Page of Chronos, at your service," he said grandly. "I've been around for a few months now - but what of you, my dear? What is your name so that I can greet you without calling you something like 'hey you'?"

Zirconia was utterly clueless. The magic of the glamour effect had kept her from even remotely connecting the redhead in the Surrounding to the knight right in front of her, and so she just continued to circle him like a total stranger who needed to be sized up.
"Zirconia of the Black Moon Court," She never skimped on that introduction, though she was occupied right now and passed on the little posing and chest puffing out that usually came with it.
She was inspecting him in an attempt to try and figure out what his weapon was for the little database she was making in her free time, but had become distracted by the beads dangling from the ankle wrap over his shoe and spent a few seconds swatting at them, which escalated pretty quickly to her paws frantically trying to hold them still and all the while slapping at his shoe with an angry look on her face.
"Ahem," Even as she cleared her throat and tried to sound dignified, her front two paws were still trying to hold the beads in place. "And what's the weapon you fight with, Celsus?"

"Ahhh, such an elegant sounding title," said Celsus, lifting a brow at Zirconia, a smile on his lip as he scrutinized her. "Zirconia of the Black Moon Court. I'm afraid I don't really know much about them; I've just heard a few whispers and rumours, most of which I'm wary to believe unless heard straight from the lips of someone actually in the Court. One can never be too careful, after all."
He glanced down at the cat, trying to figure out the best way to let him know who he was. It would not do to reveal his civilian identity in the middle of a public street where anyone could be listening, but eventually he would like to let Zirconia know, all things considered.
There was a jangling sound, jolting Celsus from his inner musings, and he glanced down to find the cat batting at the dangling gold medallions wrapped around the ankles of his boots. Amused, he let her play with them for several moments, waiting for her to finish (really, he had such a soft spot for the cats; they were such lovely people and animals alike) before he answered her question. Reaching into his pocket, Celsus pulled out a single gold object, larger than the ones that decorated his uniform.
"This," he said lightly, and tossed the coin up into the air, catching it easily. "This is mine."
