Following the incident, Amrita did end up stuck prone on her floor, but it had only been a day as opposed to several. After that she had stayed on the floor on her own accord, in a small bout of depression that she wasn't used to going through. The ghoul wasn't happy and she couldn't pull herself out of it; she had never felt betrayal before, and it...it hurt.

Her eyes flew open when she heard her name on the other side of the door, frantically pushing herself off the ground to prop herself up on an elbow, laying on her side on the ground.

"Nngh - Roch!" She tried to get to her feet before the door opened, but alas she wasn't fast enough. Her eye was wide, all in all giving her the look of someone thoroughly busted. She didn't want him to know she'd been hurting, she wasn't keen on letting people in to this particular pain. Luckily, what he said next was enough of a distraction to make her look less guilty.

"...F-flowers...?" A grey eye fell on the black roses in his fist. He...brought flowers? Blinking in surprise, she pointed at herself with a backwards hand, palm facing upwards. "...For me...?"

"...Oh." She looked at the roses again, then back up to his face, and then back down to the roses. "They're horribly beautiful, thank you!" The roses switched hands and Amrita bowed her head to mime sniffing them; a useless gesture, she didn't have a sense of smell to speak of. "I'd never think that." A small, reassuring smile fit on her lips, looking at the offered hand next.

"Ah! Um, I don't...err, it's okay, I was just...napping...?" More like wallowing on the floor in a new emotion she didn't like. "It's n-not like last time, I promise." Regardless she shifted her weight and took the offered hand, getting to her feet with his help, though she didn't want to admit she was a lot more stiff than she expected to be.

"So...um, how are you?"

"You're a good boil." Amrita informed him, though she tended to always inform him of this. "I hope they're okay, dying for the first time isn't easy." Dying for the second or third time wasn't easy either; she was at time number three, and she felt worse now than she did dying during her exam. Now that she was on her feet she was moving, putting the roses in a little vase on her desk, except for one. One found it's stem shortened before it was tucked behind her ear since her hair was down, potential thorns and all.

As Roch prattled on about plans, she listened dutifully, finding that to be an actually wonderful afternoon. Plus she understood that he didn't want to be alone; she knew that feeling, and she was feeling it too. "I'd love to, that sounds awesome! But--" She held up one hand, finger pointing skywards. "You have to let me play with your hair!" It was her ultimatum, and only because it was relaxing...to both of them, she hoped.

"If you agree...! Lead the way, my friend." It was pouring, she was aware of that much...but she could deal with being wet later.

Amrita looked at him out of the corner of her eye, lips pursing in an unimpressed line. "You shouldn't mug things." She grumbled quietly before stepping into the rain with him, under the stolen umbrella. Her ultimatum must've been accepted if they were out here, but as she eyed him she realized something else.

"Do you have shirts that aren't vests?"

"Oh, good." Since he started talking though, she refrained from showing where she was going with that train of thought. "Tattoo...?" Blinking stupidly, she turned her head and stared at his arm as though seeing it for the first time. "..Oh! That's beautiful!" Wow, and the sisters did that?! She was more proud of them now than she was when she met them!

"That's unfortunate...she's okay, right?" Last she saw the ghoul she was alright, albeit a little shaken up with her sister over some bells, but...they were okay! The boil's closeness was noted and she couldn't help the minute blush on her cheeks, which prompted her to pause in her walking for a moment.

"Umm...R-roch?" She started first, slowly. Her hand raised...and she pulled the umbrella down, letting the elements pour down on them. "I love the rain." And apparently getting him wet too was on her agenda. What? He'd have to shower anyway! At least he had to last time!

Roch might have whined, but Amrita was all smiles. Half of the joke was on him though; the rain made everything muddy, and she was barefoot as always. "So have another shower?" She suggested cheekily, happy to forget the hurt in her chest over something so silly. He wasn't the only one to get soaked of course! The ghoul was pretty thoroughly drenched as well.

"Fiiiine." She conceeded to the whole gnome business. "But don't make a habit out of it! A gnome is still a scareling and mugging is still bad!" She tsked with her finger but dropped the act pretty quickly, pushing her wet hair back from her face and being careful to not lose the black rose.

"You can put the umbrella back up if you want." She said graciously, still standing as close to him now as she had been when they were (mostly) dry.

Amrita only shrugged. She only suggested it to make him feel better anyway. "Even my paren--" Parents? What right did she have to bring them up, after what she had done? None, that's what. So she tried to fight the flinch that came so easily, shaking her head slowly. "--Everyone is a scareling." She submitted, deciding that was a good a place as any to leave it.

"Umm...I don't...really know?" She managed to get out, dropping her soaked head to look at her heels. "I like the ground, so...I like dirt. Mud's kind of the same?" Clearly, she was grasping for a reason behind why she liked something, as if it were important to back it up. She didn't want to admit that she always imagined the rain as tears, where someone else was crying for you when you couldn't do it on your own. Well, that's how she imagined rain when she had a functioning brain...or when she wasn't in a corpse.

"Guess it's a cultural thing." She murmured shyly, fidgeting with a dripping lock of hair.
