i say chips cuz i come from england but in america chips are crisps...am confused.....

Um~ french fries... and I sometimes shorten it to fries. =P ^^

Why are they called french frues anyways? I'm pretty sure they weren't made by a french guy, or in France for that mater.

Well~ I was about to list some of the stories I'd heard about the origin of the term french fries, but i decided check out an online encyclopedia instead.... which only confirmed the stories. >.>

Well in some books I've read, they refer to it as "crisps", but I call it, "chips". 3nodding
