Larsonn, the Socially Inept Carpenter
Lar is a lonely 27 year old handy-man who lives with his dog Tambourine (Tam for short). He lives on the road between Palisade and Oldcastle, and has a small house that he built by himself. His parents were alive until about two years ago, they lived in a home about a mile away from his closer to Oldcastle. They had him fairly late in life, and passed away from old age. They were strong believers in the Old Ways, and Lar has a deep respect for the world and the traditions of the past because of them. He often makes trips back to their old home, which is unkempt and tattered, and leaves flowers on their graves in the yard in the back. In his spare time, Lar travels up and down the road between Palisade and Oldcastle, hitting up homes on the way to try and sell his repair and crafting services. He's fairly good with his hands, but not with his mouth or mind, and gets himself into trouble (especially with womenfolk) by opening his gob before thinking about what he's going to say.
Larsonn dresses normally, with plain shirts and pants and a pair of ragged leather working boots. His hair is straight and he keeps it short and choppy. His beard and sideburns stays trimmed to about a half-inch in length.
At the age of 25, Lar received Tambourine as a puppy from his parents, a late birthday present to him. She was the middle pup from a small litter, birthed by a stray that Lar's parents had fed out of the kindness of their hearts. The other two pups of the litter had found homes in Palisade, and the stray left in the night. Tam grew into a strapping young lass, and stays by Lar's side constantly, worrying over him like a mother fusses over her children. She is fairly daft, and has no real thoughts on Rulsedhe or the Wardwood.
