Other guilds that had worked for the opposite end - collectively working towards raising prices artificially and manipulating the market were shut down in the past... this guild is doing the same thing. It is seeking to artificially manipulate the market by collectively working to lower prices. Those who had inflated were told that they are allowed to price things how they want to individually, they just can't work together to do it. Shouldn't that same non-rule (I say non-rule because it isn't written anywhere that people cannot work together, however guilds were shut down because they did) apply to this guild as well? Thank you for the report however there is nothing we can do about it. The admins have decided that there's nothing wrong with guilds doing this sort of thing and thus, we as mods are unable to delete these guilds. sad Does this mean that if one wanted to create a guild with the sole intent of organizing cooperative inflation of an item that would be permitted? Yes sad
Basically, [anonymous] reported our guild to see if Price-manipulating is allowed. And as the mod says, if our guild is allowed here then so should the Pro-inflation guilds.
But it's up to us to know who these people are! heart

This person seems mostly bitter. But in my opinion, I don't see anything wrong with having a pro or anti inflation guild, although Anti infaltion is definatley in the better interest of everyone. Inflation is quite a stupid thing to cause, since it will hurt you as well, if you sell, then want to re-buy an item. neutral

Inflation is quite a stupid thing to cause, since it will hurt you as well, if you sell, then want to re-buy an item. neutral Deflation can be just as harmful to every one who has invested in those items, as inflation can be to those who don't have them. You're oppinion is only one side of the debate and many inflaters would disagree. And I know of several inflation guilds a few of which are watching you. 4laugh

As far as them watching us goes... I guess we'd better give them something to look at. 3nodding

Some of us might want to go sifting through some of the members that haven't posted as much. Although, I feel as if we're strong enough that they couldn't really hurt us. If we could get some moles into THEIR guilds, that would REALLY ruin them. heart

I guess you could call this account a warning account to let you know we're already here. And that if you try to cause deflation in the vend we've already set aside around four million gold to combat it with, in other words it would just be easier for you to just give us your gold because in the long run that's all you'll be doing any way. xd Edit: And if you want to know which guilds are watching you, you can ask king who he may have pissed off lately with his deflationist opression in his guild.

And on another note, the little sticky on how to tell if something is being inflated articialy really only shows what an amature inflation looks like, we've developed ways to cover those signs up. xd
In fact a type two price hike looks exactly like plain ol' inflation.

You're destroying gaia. Saying such things after banning him so that he can't reply is a fairly cowerdly way out of an arguement, don't you think? Also only amatures try to inflate more than 5 or 10k (unless it's an 03 item) And how do you know what happens to new people (en masse) can you see them all? In reality inflation helps more quests than it hurts because it helps investments pay off. 5 to 10 k more isn't hard to come up with if you've invested your gold into other smaller items. Newbis tend to quit because they think questing means that they need to keep pure, at least the one's I've seen give up any way, but if they were to invest in items than inflation wouldn't really effect them all that much because they would be gaining interest from it. And on another note, the illuminati doesn't fear you, we've only taken notice of you because of teh oriental king, we only really see you as a minor annoyance at the most, though we did decide to put moles in your group so as to get a better perception of the functionality of your guild. Only a fool wouldn't pay attention to the opposition. edit: and before you ban me as well, I'll say this, if you truely support deflation and hate inflation then you'd bring down 03 items and not just newer items that you think you shouldn't have to pay as much for, when we see you're group donating 03 items to charities then maybe our perception of this guild as, a group of hypocrites stroking each other's wealthy little egos, may change. edit 2: lol this made the 2000th post in this guild. xp
