Teto entered the cafe, knowing that her best bud Kaiko would be here. She took a seat at a table, and sat back with her phone. She sent a message to Kaiko, hoping she'd reply. Teto hadn't talked to her in a while, and felt bad that they hadnt. After all, Kaiko was almost like the sister she never had.
Teto leaned back as the message sent, hoping Kaiko could sit with her and enjoy some tea.

 Kaiko received a message while she was carrying orders. When she went to grab her phone, she spilt the meal on the customer.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" Kaiko apologized and ran off, answering her text.
She noticed it was from Teto, and she hurriedly headed to the table she was at.
"Teto-Chan! How nice to see you here!" Kaiko greeted, smiling sheepishly. She heard the angry customer yelling at her, but she would deal with him later. She was now going to spend time with her best friend, the one she had met first.

Teto looked over to see Kaiko spil something on a customer. Teto giggled to herself. " Kaiki-chan! I feel like we haven't talked in forever..!" She said as she gave Kaiko a hug and sat back down. Kaiko had been so busy making sure Nigaito was ok, that it seemed she hadn't had enough time between work and him.
" So, hows life been lately?"

Kaiko hugged Teto, smiling brighter.
"I haven't seen you in forever either!" Kaiko exclaimed, taking a seat, once more. She smiled softly, facepalming as the angry customer was telling her boss. "Mental note, have Akaito beat that man up," She thought, smiling deviously.
"Oh, things are great! Although, Nigaito's been getting sicker by the day, and work does not get easier! As you can see right there," She started conversing and continued, "I talked with Akaito the other day, I was scared for nothing! So, how are you and everyone else?"
It was as if she was detaching herself from her friends, and she didn't even notice it.

Teto shot a dirty look at the cranky customer, and directed her attention back to Kaiko. " Aw, poor thing. I'll make him some get better soup. Ted use to get sick al the time aswell, it made him feel better." Teto smiled.
" Oh, Me? Well, I saw a firework show, tryed a new pumkin spice muffin recipe, and Mikuo askked me to the dance..." Teto said, trying to contain her joy. Teto remebered she brought some muffins with her for the Shions, and pulled a plastic baggy with a few muffins. " Here, theres some for you and your brothers!" She addecd.

Kaiko smiled gently at Teto.
"He'd like that, how was the show?" Kaiko asked. However, when Teto brought up Mikuo had asked her to the dance, Kaiko smiled.
"Well! What did you say?" Kaiko asked, seemed engaged in the conversation.
She took the bag, saying a very polite thank you.
"They look delicious!" Kaiko complimented her.

Teto laughed. " It was awesome, me and Miki watched it together." Teto said pushing her pink hair out of her eyes.
" Oh, and the answer to Mikuo..?" Teto paused. " I said yes. Meanwhile, what about you? Are you going to go with a boy? or a friend?" She asked softly.

Kaiko smiled, wishing to hear more of the fireworks.
"That's good to hear that you said yes!" Kaiko exclaimed happy that her friend had a date.
"I was deciding on not going, but Akaito-Nii talked me into going. If I have a bad time, we'll go to the carnival and just have fun," Kaiko said, having a back up plan.
She didn't want to interfere with the others, since it seemed a huge majority had dates, or seemed to have crushes. She didn't want to interrupt their time. There were some people she barely knew at all. She may socialize with some of her friends before they go on and begin their date.
She smiled at Teto, making sure there was no false alarm or negativity shown.

Teto smiled at Kaiko. " If you decide to leave, just tell me. I'll go with you. Mikuo could join us if he wants too." Teto said leaning back. " Christmas seems to be coming quickly... I wonder if I should think of a christmas song to sing.." Teto thought outloud.
Teto's thought were quickly interupted by a sour thought. She remembered that her brother had promised to spend a christmas with her but never did. A lot of vocaloids would probably be going home to see their families, and Teto would be stuck at the academy.
Teto lowered her eyes for a second, but relized her friend would notice something wrong. " Anyways,aha, hows your classes going?"

"You two stay at the ball! It was just a back up plan! As if something would go wrong," Kaiko said assuring her friend.
"You should sing there! I'm sure everyone would love to hear a song!" Kaiko said, giving her a genuine smile. She did see her friend look down, but she shook the thought off.
"Probably just something, I should ask," Kaiko thought, seeing as her friend recovered.
"Classes are good, easy, but it seemed Kaito-Nii's been going a bit slow with class." Kaiko said, taking some tea a waiter gave her and making a glass.
"How about yours?" She asked.

" Ah, Hai. Kaito-senpai doesn't seem to be planning anymore lessons! But besides that, my classes are good." Teto said as she took the tea and bowed as in thankyou.
She took a sip of the tea. Her eyes teared up, relizing how hot it was. She placed the cup down, waving hr hand infront of her tounge. " Hot!" She said. She laughed a bit, relizing how clumsy she had been.

"Watch yourself! Are you okay?" Kaiko asked, worried that her friend may have burned worse than she thought.

 Nigaito walk in the cafe with an smile on his face and a lollipop in his mouth.He looked around see Teto and kaiko "Kaiko Onee-chan!"He said looking at her with an smile on his face.

Teto looked behind to see NIgaito approaching them. " Herro Nigatho!" She said with her tounge still sticking out. Her words sounded funny and misprounanced.
Teto stuck her tounge back in her mouth, cringing a bit at the stinging from the hot tea. She motioned Nigaito to take a seat at the table with them.
