Maybe it was even her calling to stay by herself in the rogue lands. It would have been obvious for her entire family to make a pack for itself, but they were all more adventurous and independent for that. It was an exciting chance - a chance to look for a new home, each one of them, by themselves. And she just happened to agree to these plans, even straying away from Ereshkigal in the process. Whether or not she saw her twin sister again was up to the gods now.
She found a nice clearing next to a small pond of water. This could do for the night. It was rather peaceful, relaxing... She doubt anything could disturb her here for the night. However, as she passed through the tall grasses that blocked her vision, she saw two lionesses... Oh, bother. That could mean trouble. She was quick on her feet and thoughts, though, so would be able to escape quickly if her life was threatened.
So the wild dog stepped into the place, wondering what the two were doing. They seemed to look similar... They actually looked very much like they were sisters, save for the fact that one was way more colorful than the other, and the other one was more subdued and dark, and yet, bigger. The two seemed strong, nonetheless, and so she kept a wary eye on them.
"Do you two plan on staying here for the night?" she asked, peeping out from her place to get their attention.

It seemed like this night would be full of surprises. She would never have thought to run into Dayo - except her vision had her see the familiarization of this long lost pride member and her surrounding. Dayo had been about with her identical twin brother, Desta, and the two females had been discussing some things of a more... homely matter.
"What is this wild dog?" she asked again, looking at Dayo.
"It has come between two mighty lionesses of the Mizimu'Tungika, Dayo. Have you any of your scryer tendencies left, dear sister? Would you like to perform them now? We will still always be Mizimu'Tungika lionesses despite our home."

"No, Suka. Scryers perform on remainders of the living, not... these soulless creatures who still live," she replied, making a face.
These children were quite troublesome, she remembered, from the pride. It was best to not let this distraction let her falter from her caution of both Suka and the wilderness the rogue lands offered.
Mizimu'Tungika? Scryers? These two were obviously from the same place or pride, yet she hadn't sensed that she was anywhere near a pride of lions. By the way they talked, they were definitely familiar, and although the bigger one seemed to mean some sort of harm, even jokingly, the other one was... placid enough for her to assume that she was not in any immediate danger.
"Just asking if you two will be staying, though I suppose you won't be trouble. I'd like to reside here for the night, and if you two are going to be here... Well, I'd like to know," she said.
She liked keeping order. That was her thing.
Suka stared at the wild dog for a while, blinking at her. She then burst into laughter, and closed her eyes in that humor. It was a pity her visions often allowed for grander schemes to take place, otherwise she would have found a place for this wild dog in her list of accomplished pranks.
But this wild dog... The wild dog was ordering them around! The two lionesses! Or that was how it seemed. She should take offense to this.
"Pity, Dayo. And here I thought you would enjoy showing a bit of your Mizimu'Tungika pride outside of its ruined borders. No, wild dog, we have no plans of staying for the night... Especially not with a mongrel like you."
The wild dog wasn't bothering Dayo, and perhaps she was even relieved by its presence - it did break her and Suka's exchange, after all, and it was a little more relaxing now that she wasn't entirely in Suka's spotlight. It was odd to deal with the b*****d daughter of Sakata... and the goddess of mischief.
"We will not be troubling you, wild dog," she extended in addition to the wild dog herself, "My brother and I were just on our way when we bumped into... an old... friend here."
"Suka, now if you will excuse me..." Dayo said, nodding to Suka - she didn't even care that a member of her past pride came by - it was the wrong one to feel warm towards, anyways.
She saw that the two lionesses had some history together, but were also not that friendly with each other in a way other than being mere acquaintances. She hummed to herself, and decided that it would be okay to stay here, even if the two did linger for a bit. She was tired, and needed a place to finally lay down for a while. As long as the two kept to themselves and she kept to herself, she would be fine.
"Thank you," she said, walking over to the other end of the pond to bend down, sipping at the water.
She phased out the passive bickering of the other two, getting down finally for her rest at night. This place would be good enough.
"Hold up, Dayo," Suka said, startled by the sudden retreat.
Whatever. She had her own things to get to, anyways.
"What about that god in your life?"
"...What?" Dayo couldn't help but look back at Suka's query.
How confusing. However, Dayo did know that Suka and the rest of her lot were able to tell some parts of the future... She had to inquire more, but with irritation.
"I'm leaving, Suka, and I wish the spirits help you on your travels. But I must go, along with Desta."
Suka cackled a little, "Where to go? I see... I see a god in your future, Dayo, you will be blessed. I bring you great news, my friend. And yet you rush to leave? So be it!"
She pranced away then, looking back with a sinister smile. At least she caused some sort of disruption and confusion. Her job was complete.
Dayo shook her head, snorting. She knew not to trust one of those Sakata spawn. It was bad news. So she turned in the opposite direction, walking towards where her brother had laid to rest for the night...
