Tea: Nova Crystallis
Nova: after stellar novae, cataclysmic nuclear explosions in a star caused by the accretion of hydrogen on to the surface of a white dwarf star, which ignites and starts nuclear fusion in a runaway manner.
Crystallis: corruption of the word 'crystal' or crystalline
Ingredients:
✤ Feather Eye: an intimidating, eye-spotted feather from a white peacock's tail. Sometimes it appears as if it's staring...
✤ Diamond Dust: Even the hardest of beauties can crumble to dust.
✤ Dragonsbane: Often used in potions and herbology. It has a sense of ferocity and strength!
✤ Moondrop: A graceful and mysterious gem that at times appears liquid.
✤ Snow Flower: A flower that blooms in the snow. It is white and fuzzy, with crystalline droplets.
✤ Star Fragment: Strong astrological theme. It gives the ability to use meteor magic.
Ability Concentration/Theme: Shirou's magic revolves around crystals, the crystallization of other matter and a million different mainly offensive utilizations of them. He is also shown to be capable of altering the material form of crystals from liquid to solid and vice-versa and even turning them into dust to reach further or reconstruct crystalline structures. He can use those structures defensively also by taking cover behind them seeing how they are strong enough to begin with but can also be magically enhanced to allow for more durability in exchange for more of Shirou's magic.
xxxx Combat________________________
Shirou places more faith into the elegant balance between raw physical strength and magic instead of leaning towards either direction. This section exists to go deeper into Shirou's abilities and techniques other than the general theme.
百千の目 Hyakusen no Me: {One Hundred Thousand Eyes} bordering the illusory school of magic, and used primarily for intimidation it involves Shirou making a sudden display of his elaborate tail to daze his opponent. While he can't really hypnotize anyone that way he can bring them to a halt long enough to ensure that his next hit lands. Depending on his opponent's willpower the dazing effect may work for a smaller or longer amount of time.
結晶新星 Kesshou Shinsei: {Crystal Nova} the 'titular' spell to his tea and most regularly used spell on top of that, it's named after the sharp, outwardly thrusting crystalline spikes he can grow after hitting solid ground -or to a lesser extent, other surfaces-. After ascending to reaper and obtaining his scythe his favoured method to do this is by hitting his scythe on the surfaces instead.
結晶超新星 Kesshou Choushinsei: {Crystal Supernova} a far more energetic version of the Crystal Nova spell, drawing it's strength from additional crystallized hydrogen in its immediate vicinity, while more draining, it's towering pillar-like spikes can be highly damaging as well as help set the field of battle to his and his allies' advantage. The downside to this is that because of the massive size Shirou can accidentally hurt people he didn't intend to in the process.
地下ユウガオ Chika Yuugao: {Subterranean Moon Flower} By directing a slash of his scythe in a forward rather than downward manner to the ground, Shirou can form a wave of crystal to rush towards his enemies to overwhelm and restrict them, sealing them in place.
スピカの方程式 Supika no Houteishiki: {Equation of Spica} a crystalline shot that fools enemies in believing it is easily countered while in fact is hiding a second projectile in its shadow.
恒星嵐 Kousei Arashi: {Stellar Storm} multiple 'Spicae' fired simultaneously to create a barrage of crystal bullets to rain down on the enemy. The size of the Spicae fired may be reduced to preserve more magic.
Unnamed, spontaneous and makeshift combinations of techniques exist and are used in varying degrees depending on what Shirou wants to do and each battle situation.
