Okay so, since things seem to be advancing pretty quickly in my adventures of espionage, I thought I might as well tell you guys what's been happening ((I don't know if you want to hear are not but I'll tell you guys anyways, because I think I can trust you o.O)) Mission: alright let's start, several weeks ago I performed my first mission, it took me two hours and I had some close calls. The objective was...well... kind of stupid, but an objective nonetheless. The mission was to find out if my friend was awake and at his house or not because his stepdad kept lying to us saying that he wasn't home when he really was. At that point in time I brought my equipment to my friend's house because we were going to go to the park and play spies and mercs ((that's a very good way to train by the way)) but instead of doing that I decided to go on a mission, but unfortunately not to make any civilians scared I couldn't use my air soft pistol or the rubber knife ((I have a real knife, two of them actually I'm planning on getting a third, but I brought the rubber one for playing spies and mercs, don't wanna slit your friends throat ^-^)) so the only equipment I brought with me was a two-way radio, a cell phone, and my PalmPilot a.k.a. the OPSAT, seriously just a couple configurations and that will become the first ever OPSAT in a very primitive form, it also has a nifty duedad on it that allows me do turn on/off TVs, DVDs, VCRs not to mention changed their channels and mess with them as long as I have the codes for them...but unfortunately I only have one code at the moment and it doesn't work. So I set out, darting in and out of the shadows making my way through people's properties. For some reason it still amazes me how silently you can climb a fence and not be known, I love being invisible. Another thing was kind of unfortunate was that my friend on the other side of the radio, didn't really take the radio or the mission seriously, he kept on saying "why don't you have a time limit so that way it'll be funner" well yeah it would be fun but I would hate to be so hasty and get caught and get the police on my tail because when doing a mission it's no joke, I could've gotten shot if someone called the police... that is if I did get caught. So things were going fine, I had some nifty splinter cell song stuck in my head as I reached an open lot between two houses in, my friend contacted me asking if I was there yet... so impatient, he doesn't realize that once grew up could be my life, prison etc., I believe he was also thinking that I was just going to run down the street in my stealth gear and get spot by everyone. But anyways, I had to dart across the street into the shadows over by a fence on the other side of street where it was really dark but if a car came by that would be it. The coast was clear so I ran across and started moving parallel on my way to the other end of the fence where there was a three-way stop, that's when things got bad. There was a gap between an electrical pole and the fence and I didn't know there was a wire about ankle height running in between the fence and the electrical pole, I ran straight into it not even knowing, I tripped and fell my Nightvision goggles fell off my head, and that's when things got worse, a car was coming up behind me and I had only moments to act before I got caught. So I grabbed a Nightvision goggles and got up and running over to the tree adjacent from my exact location, when another car comes in from the street on my right, I started running faster and dove for the tree and I made it but another car came from another direction. So now there were three of them at the three-way stop, and I'm behind a measly three ducking down behind a very small hill, fortunately the three cars pass without noticing me...or at least taking any account. The area was secure, I got up slowly and put the Nightvision goggles on my head, that's what I was thinking to myself "I need to make a new harness for my Nightvision goggles." so I made my move and darted off to another shadow across the street, there was an extremely bright light on the side that I was on so I was trying my best to keep unnoticed, fortunately America always has their blinds closed, and that has been proven to me. So I wake my way to the end of this next block at a two-way stop. Behind me was the way I came in to the right of me was the street to go back on to the one I was running on to get to the three-way stop but to the left of me was a construction site for new houses, but it wasn't open field with only some roads and empty lots, so it was muddy except for the roads, and barren which was bad because I didn't have any cover, I stopped over by a fence in a way it was kind of in plain sight so was my fault, and I made my radio call saying that I was almost there, once I got off the radio I was thinking to myself as to how to get across the mud without leaving tracks once I got back onto the trail, there was a lot of mud, but the decision was made for me when I heard a group of teens yelling out down the road, I thought they spotted me so I started running, later on I found out that they were only yelling amongst themselves but you can never be too careful, so as I was running I didn't have my Nightvision goggles on and yet again I tripped... but this time it was into a giant mud puddle, I didn't mind getting wet in fact I got up really quickly the only thing that really did get wet was my pants... at my Nightvision goggles which flew off my head... again stare . ((For all you people who are worried, the Nightvision goggles are still alive!! And they work better than ever!! xd )) across the barren muddy land with only a couple concrete strips was a church, with some dark areas but mostly lights. I ducked down behind a fence, and checked my gear to make sure nothing else was wet, I must've gotten up pretty fast the lower part of my tack vest didn't get wet so everything was safe, unfortunately the distance on my radio was broken so I had to use my cell phone, and the one bad thing about cell phones is that they light up. ((Don't worry the radios are okay it's just that they can only go a certain distance, so I'm going to sell mine an upgrade to high band radios which the police use)) so for the rest of the way I really didn't use my stealth walk, it was okay it was much quicker not to mention everybody was asleep or inside their houses playing video games, all of them with their blinds closed, some of them were opened but they were pretty neat to avoid since they only came in singles or doubles, and my legs got kind of cold, it's funny though they didn't feel cold nor did the rest of my body and I was colder outside... that's a pretty good makeshift stealth suit. I made my way around the first part of the fence around the second, to dodge the light of the church I had to go out into the street and cut through somebody's yard, this is one of the other places I use my stealth walk, and I made it past a motion sensing light to my amazement. So the rest of the way pretty dark, I didn't have much trouble as to the keep up my cover I darted in and out of the shadows. I was almost that my friend's house, only about a block to go, so I thought it was time for a checkup, since the radios were out of range I had to use the cell phone. So I walked over and a dark area behind a shead and clicked on the light to dial the number, just then a car comes down the street, and it slows down, I feared the worst and thought that the person spotted me well because well I was the only thing that had a light beaming on my face...damn cell phones stare . So I relocated my position just a little bit ways from the shed in another dark area and found out that the person was just pulling into the driveway, got that was a relief, so I made my call and got back to the mission. Finally I reach my friends house only to find out... the mission got canceled, everyone fell asleep, but at least I do they were home, but I couldn't catch my friend stepdad in a lie. So I had to make my way back and I wasn't really stealthy about it, lol but amazingly I didn't get caught! I triggered three motion sensing lights because I was running, even that one by the church, and I think the guy watching TV it did get up to try and see what was, but I was already gone like a ghost shadow running in the darkness, I got back to the barren area with the housing plots, and I've made my way to the other side of the street to the guy's house, again I almost got spotted by a car but I hid behind a bush. I then made my way this time I took off the Nightvision goggles and my mask and I ran past the two way and three-way section and down the street, one person did get out of their house but they took no mention of me... I guess they thought I was some sort of a "night jogger" in dark clothes. But I got back to the house, and the funniest thing happened, my friend's mom opened the door and saw me there, wet and muddy, with my stealth gear on. The look she gave me was kind of like "you're crazy person." To me it was hilarious, I laughed inside. My friend then greeted me at asked if anything happened, I told him it got canceled because of the events. I think his mother because she let me watch my stealth suit so that way I could go home, that was the only close I brought and it looked pretty civilian until you tuck everything in and put the tack vest on. But that was the end of my mission, it ended pretty well, I got to watch the movie "flight plan" afterwards. 3nodding Notes: I need to upgrade my equipment. The stealth suit need to turn from two shirts and camo pants to a wet suit and camo pants. Stealth boots, and I found the perfect wants too. New neoprene gloves, mine right now are falling apart and I have to glue them together they're also A cheap brand and can't go underwater. I need a new tack vest, the one I want is $104, and the one I have already is a paintball vest, if I get the other one I will be a lot more agile and flexible and I will only use that one for missions and the other one for paintball. Makeshift Nightvision Goggle harness or buy a new harness, because the one I have already is it too good, the way they are implode my sinuses, and they fall off easily if I put them on my fourhead. New two-way radios, high band. Better back mounted air soft, preferably the P-90 and attach some magnets on it so that way I can quick mount it and quick draw it. My OPSAT, needs Internet e-mail uplink, GPS and an optic cable oh and those TV codes. Smoke grenades, that's something I can get but I want the pull pin ones, faster and easier to use. A new knife, 7 inch double-sided cold steel knife because my dagger is too small and I gutting a knife is too large not to mention that make too much noise and they're both too hard to hard to butten backup so that way they stay in place. Espionage movements: not much of what needed to use the mission although I still need, to practice more on my stealth walk, but not to be more silent I've got that down its just to stay like that longer. The split jump and half split jump on it to work on. Now wall jumping and running, I've done really well on that, but I need to figure out how to run across the wall with my gear on instead of up the wall. Hanging down on the objects from the ceiling I still need to work on. Melee combat is another thing, I can pretty easily take someone down but I need to remain focused in those situations so that way I don't just start punching or snapping necks, I already know how to choke and interrogate I just need to figure out how to do the one-hit knockouts, the kills I got down pretty okay.
Okay so until next mission or some other event or I use espionage, see you later.

Yes, it is long, but entertaining 3nodding The mission was a silly one, but you have to start out small. I'm currently practicing landing for higher decents (like off a two story building). Rolling-of course- is the best method of landing. I'm getting better and am working on not hitting my knee in the roll (I got it, but I need to practice more). I also am working on getting my arm strangth up so I can climb with more ease. I try and train where ever I can. I still need to get equipment (no mula gonk ), I am forced to make an old phone into an OPSAT... and that's not much because it doesn't have service anymore... Anywho, I'm looking into a hydration system from blackhawk ( 50 gold to anyone that can guess which one I'm looking at ninja ). Hey, you have to have water >_>. The best way to know what to get is from going out and doing stuff. From there, you'll know more what is required from the stuff. Like I had a pair of football gloves (american FB, not the rest of the world) which are really sticky for catching the foot ball. I thought "great, I'll stick on," but they didn't work out that well. They were too sticky on clothing and was hard to get my own stuff out of my pockets, that and if they got dirty or wet they lost all of their grip. Also, they were too thin to take any harsh punisment. I then upgraded to scuba gloves which were ment for the reef. They work out extreamly well because they are ment for the reef so they are tough, have decent grip, made of good material, and keep my hands nice and sunge (here's a pic http://www.diversdirect.com/imagescache/ItemLrgPic2A18707.jpg and their name: Mares 2mm Reef Gloves ). Because of the money issue, I'm being VERY picky about the nightvision. Because I am forced to stick with gen1 (no gen4 for me crying ) I have two choices Rigel Optics - 3250 Compact and Night Optics USA - D-2MV they are both very simular and not much is diffrent. Ah, I have time to pick... Going off and doing all those things gave you practice and taught you what should be done and redone (NVGs). It also shows you what you're good at and what you're not. Not dissing what you were doing (I acctualy aprove pratice of all types), but sometimes the best steath in undercover. Like you go out wearing a coat over the equipment and keep the NVGs and mask out of sight. Weather or not people see shouldn't matter because you could be out for so many reasons (unless you're not 18... freaking curfue). That way you'll get to your target faster and have a better chance of finding a good spot for ingress at your AO. The only drawback is that you might have to ditch the sweater behind a building or something, but urban stealth is slighting diffrent than rural, but they have some of the same basics. There's acctualy a book I highly suggest, I really enjoied reading it, "Knights of Darkness" by Haha Lung. I am currently reading another book by him and someone else that talks more about the shadowhand and training, but I think that's for later ninja . Sounds like you did a good job over all overlooking the falls xp

I am currently reading another book by him and someone else that talks more about the shadowhand and training, but I think that's for later ninja . Sounds like you did a good job over all overlooking the falls xp okay let me get you an overview, I was born at a military family so I grew up with a military influence and military training on a basic level my other trainings include trading with the Police Department and training on my own using tactical espionage, this mission actually took place in an urban setting which was her literally my first mission and not counting the falls it went without a hitch, which is pretty good for a beginning, I have my connection so I know where to get some of the best equipment for cheap prices and not to mention the other thing I am not over 18 I'm 15 years old at doing this stuff pretty damn well. The guilt free gloves that I see that you picked out are pretty good except for the fact that in some places they don't have much neoprene and only some form of a cloth, getting a full field three glove is a big essential they help you grip to many places and if they rip their extremely easy to repair just some super glue and that's it, but don't get neoprene gloves that are have just been glued together make sure that they have been glued and sewed. Other things low band radios are good for civilians but not good when it comes to high-risk situations, high band is better they may cost a little but more but they're worth it. The mission was small yes and the objective was stupid but it was worth it all in all for the experience, I'm good to start doing more missions hopefully but with better objectives and where I can use my gun and knife, not to mention that new knife that getting hopefully I can rig that want my back properly. Now about your Nightvision dilemma((getting off subject a bit the neoprene gloves need to be longer than just up to your wrist)) those two are both really good but yes you have to choose one, I chose my because it can get rained on or he could be chucked out a wall and not break and I wasn't really going much for looks except for the three ocular areas, and I'm currently trying to work on a riging that won't implode my sinuses, but both Nightvision have a key schedule for comfort, they bade not be the best of them getting wrapped around the ground but the harnessing is good, just gotta be sure to reinforce the Nightvision. Now the thing about undercover that's a good thing, at the moment I'm trying to not take the easy way to getting to an objective of trying to find ways to get there faster, now if it was in daylight that's a different story, and then I would go sleeper cell. A lot of the stuff that I do is very instinctive to me I really don't have to learn that because it comes to me easily, now the thing about falling from higher heights I just need to start swimming more, that your bones will be able to take a more beating thus inducing the ability to fall from higher heights. I always tried to look for my fault and see where I need more practice on at the moment my espionage is really good, just a couple things that need to be tweaked and then that's about it. And yes I understand your situation about the money issue, it's a big thing, I have to buy all my equipment are my own so I have to be patient and get more connections, that's one of the big things that you need to get it many many connections that could provide you with information and help sift it out for you so that way you can also get the best deals on things at the cheapest price that they can come and to help you sift through some other information that may get you a new mission.(( Not to mention I still need to get you that items list ninja ))

Oni Warlord Ah, good advice. This is good, trade information to get better. I need to find a swiming pool and people now ninja mhmm your local swimming pool at the gym can do just fine, and a good game that not only fun but it's good training that you can do with it your friends is Spy vs. Mercs, you've been to spy and your friends being America and you have to infiltrate something, is a good thing to play when you're at a park at night in such, it's pretty fun to because of your friends get paranoid of the dark they usually stick in groups, and they don't stray far from each other.

I bet. The park we have has a house in the middle of it, but other than that it's pritty open. It would be hard to play S vs M there. I'm sure that it could be done, but I don't think my friends would be that into it.
I remember a long time ago-before Splinter Cell-I was playing a game of hide and seek (I don't remember why we started, I think we were board and I wasn't very good at magic the card game). We were at the local church (Not in the acctualy church part) and they were trying to find me. I went trough the hallways of the brightly lit building avoding them. I went outside where it was dark and droped down to a lower level. I sat and waited in the planter, when they came outside I threw a rock into the other side of the brush. They were entirely distracted by the noise and saying "There he is!" (hehe, silly humans) I went off the other way and snuck back into the building from a side door. Tons of fun mrgreen
