I've been coloring my hair for about 15 years, I think that it would be cool to have a hair color thread.

I try new brands frequently and I like to see what works and what doesn't.

Anyone else like to try this?

I would totally be down for that. I have no idea which brands I use though because I just get my hair stylist to dye my hair for me every few months at the salon. Plus I never really stray from ginger.

I use professional hair color. I buy the stuff at Sally's and do it myself. Store bought doesn't get me the results I want and going to the salon gives me mouse brown hair, every time.

Over break I think I'm going to dye my hair dark red, just for fun. :3

I've been every color from bleach blonde, red, purple, orange, dark brown and black.

I've settled on blonde/dark blonde for the last four years. I do box dye for the base and then I get highlights done at a salon school in town for cheap. surprised

Drug store brands are TERRIBLE for your hair. I like Joico.

I have a professor that uses Henna in her hair instead of actual dye. She's such a freaking hippie, and I think she's awesome for it.

i use henna from lush hahaha
it makes my hair a littler bit darker and redder than it is naturally, most people can't tell unless they know me and see me everyday.
