Taw Taronyo ( Pronounced :Aw Aronyo) stood on a hill and stared over the plains. He was new to this area and he was excited to explore it. However he knew that he would enjoy it all the more if his best friend were with him. Ahh there she was.
Seze! Over here! He called. He grinned as she approached. She was the most beautiful thing on wings. And he trusted her above all else. Seze my heart come see the new plains we have found, they nearly rival your beauty but not quite. He gazed over the rolling hills.
Come fly with me? He spread his large wingspan suggestively.

((This IS Mira!!! I forget when I'm on Firefox, I'm logged into one of my shop mules automatically...didn't realize I'd posted under a different account till this morning, so forgive me! Man, shows how tired I was...))
A green striped and winged mare trotted forward as graceful on the ground as she was in the air. She carried her wings carefully, not wanting to snag them any brush though her wings were much tougher than she portrayed at this point. She was grace, beauty and poise on the ground, fierce and fast in the sky. Though she was smaller in size compared to her lover, she was one of the few strong enough to keep up with her, though she questioned at times if he did in on purpose, but in the end? It didn't matter...they were one, mated for life, and she was happy. What more could the little mare ask?
Reaching his side, she turned her head to nose him softly beneath the chin in a warm nuzzle before looking to the plains below her. She was quiet, but that was not unusual for her as she surveyed the land ahead in contemplation, seeking the warm breeze to scent what the world had ahead for them. She smelled....adventure. They had searched long for the land of the Na'vi herds...would they find them here?
"My life and love, do you think it possible they have made it this far? It would have been long and dangerous, and I fear for them...it has been too long since we last saw a sign..." She tossed her head in frustration, as they'd been searching air and ground in what felt forever. As he invited her to fly with him, she took the chance by folding her wings tightly to her body and leaning into him to find comfort from his large, muscular stature that she never quite got enough of. "My sweet toruk, I would fly with you through hell and heaven."
She nuzzled him lightly, pressing her body a bit tighter in what she hoped would be a distracting measure, before taking off at a gallop and spreading her wings towards the sky. Whether or not she was first or last (his wings were larger, after all, and more powerful to get up faster to the sky) she didn't look to see...merely relished the feel of the wind beneath her wings as the ground fell away behind her own strong wing beats.

"If anyone can make it, it is them." Taw said with confidence. He waggled his eyebrows as he mate came closer making his stalks flail wildly. He smiled at her nuzzling, she was a sweet heart.
As the beautiful mare snugged herself against him Taw folded a wing around her effectively trapping the female so he could tickle her. This was a show of affection that he only showed when they were alone, least people get the wrong idea about their fierceness.
As he lossened the wing she took of and he stood there a moment as she ran, the brat! She would reach the sky first anyway, he was a lot heavier then her tiny frame... well relatively tiny.
He surged forward and flapped madly, screaming in mock fury as he went. Soon after he started to make a proper shadow on the ground with no hooves to mar it, he caught up with her and they flew side by side, wing tip to wing tip. This was a dangerous position but they knew each other so well and had set up the familiar rythym of flight. This was a formation they had often used. And it warmed his heart that he could do it with someone whom he trusted above all others.

Seze found such freedom in flying, though galloping could sometimes feel close, there was truly nothing that compared. She closed her eyes, feeling the wind in her face, buoying her wings and rushing past her body in such dizzying speeds that she couldn't help but give a whoop of joy as she opened them to find her mate assuming his usual position at her wingtip.
They were so different and yet two of the same heart. She had not thought she would of found someone quite like him so appealing and yet she did. And the experience of tsuheylu when they bonded stalks was irrepressible joy, the feeling almost similar to what she felt bonded to her Chosen...yet wilder. Freeing. Like flying.

The toruk trumpeted his joy at flying with his mate. Every time was the same yet different. He dove and soared and flipped. It was great to stretch ones wings. If one could also do it with someone they loved then it was sublime. Taw swooped underneath his mate and flew underneath her on a parrallel. His eyes scanned the ground as his broad wings scooped the air and kept his heavily muscled body afloat.
They flew like this for a while, enjoying the height and coolness of the upper sky layers where few flew. Occasionally a powerful sairys would squawk past them, startled at their ominous presence. Eventually Taw grew bored and nipped at Seze playfully.
