It was one of those days where things were going a bit slowly. It seemed a prime day for a bit of practice with Yom. Jude took a moment to make sure his uniform looked alright and even set his cowl right before he wandered toward the door of his dorm room and opened it.
Jude was working pretty hard to keep Ariane from finding his dorm room and thus far it was going pretty well. Now he was about to head off toward the gym again to do some more practicing on dummies as he stepped out of his room not even bothering to look around very hard at the moment. Jude was getting pretty full of himself and his ability to keep his room hidden from her sharp gaze.
He wasn't sure how long his luck would last but he was going to try and savor it for as long as it did.

"Hello, Jude," Ariane was standing a short distance away, arms folded as she leaned against the wall. There was a smirk on her face as she pushed herself off said wall with a foot, walking towards Jude with a brief wave of a hand, "How're you doing?"
She had won this game of hide and go seek.

He shifted a bit in his stance, "Fine..I'm headin' off toward the gym," he muttered quietly.

Okay, this reaction was priceless. She didn't even bother to hide her amusement, going as far as to laugh as she put a hand on his shoulder, using him as support as she grinned and leaned against his side, "Why so surprised? I'm a death hunter. I have my ways of finding things out~"
Ariane 1, Jude 0.
"The gym?" She echoed thoughtfully, thinking of the mission she had been given by Julie; she had thought of Jude and Deryk, but she wasn't sure how the former was going to react to it... The latter was her back-up plan, "I'm going too then." She decided with a hum.

Eyebrow twitched a bit as she touched him and then leaned on him, her manner of acting so self-assured got a little under his skin but not as badly as it could have since she was slowly getting to the point with Jude that ... she could get some freedom and get away with things with him.
Like touching him like this.
"What makes you think you found out anything at all?" He retorted quite simply, "you have no way of knowing for certain."
Ha. Take that.
When she invited herself along with him to the gym he shrugged a bit, "Fine. You're going to practice with me then."
That was that. He then started to continue his way toward the Gym leaving it to her to catch herself so she didn't fall straight to the ground.

"Because I know for a fact that that-" She pointed at the room he had emerged from a moment ago, "-is your room, and nothing you say or do will make me think otherwise. Sorry there, Jude Judy Jude." Her grin widened, and she took a moment to regain her composure when he moved away suddenly.
"Cheeky," She chuckled softly before moving after him, catching up quickly and walking beside him, "You're on." She had never really seen Jude use his weapon before, and was rather intrigued anyway.

"No," he corrected, "You speculate that that is my room," Jude argued back at her with a small shrug as he wandered on down the hall. He could probably argue about this for hours until she manages to make him slip up and outright admit to it.
Either he was actually having fun with this or he was honestly trying to throw her off the scent.
It was good to know that she accepted the 'challenge' of practicing with him because as soon as they got to the gym room he summoned his weapon.

"No, I know that that is your room," She replied with a smirk and a look that said 'oh stop it, you're embarrassing yourself'. It was almost cute how Jude was denying it.
"Impatient to get started, are we?" She eyed his weapon - is that an hourglass?! - before summoning her own weapon, holding the chain between her hands so that it was taut. Holding it up so that she could potentially use it to block any attacks, she grinned, "Come at me, bro."

He ignored the smirk and the look, "You haven't proven that it is fact to anyone much less me."
After all one should always double check their facts.
As he grasped the hourglass in the middle he nodded a bit, "Why waste time if we're going to be in here together? Thought you were going to just sit there and watch me work with a dummy all day?"
Pfft. If that was the case then he'd have given her the slip.
When she told him to come at her he did so raising the weapon and stabbing toward her side with the pointed tri-pronged side.

"You make it sound like that was the first time I saw you walk in and out of that room," She laughed, shaking her head, and raising her weapon to block his attack with the chain. She held her position, her grip tightening as she suddenly moved back, "No, I suppose not... Although I have to wonder if you work with dummies in your bed, seeing how you don't seem to want anyone to touch you... Or are males an exception to that?"
She grinned, wriggling her eyebrows at her sparring partner, "How old are you anyway? Sure, you act like a 40 year old sometimes, but I meant your actual age."

Jude uttered a small dismissive sound at her words, "For all you know that room is a decoy," he wasn't going to give up. Not for a long, long time. He was going to keep insisting that the room he came out of wasn't his at all but someone else's instead until the day he dies or she is able to confirm it on him.
Her next set of words almost made him lose composure but not in the way she expected him to. Instead of fumbling he held tighter onto his weapon and struck her at the core harder than he had prior, "I'm not gay. Alright? I just don't like being touched. Is that so wrong?"
As for his age he backed a little out of his earlier attack, "Eighteen."

"Sure," She grinned despite the pain, glad for the fear shield that was no doubt protecting her. She chuckled, shaking her head, "Oh, so you're saying that you had been sleeping in someone else's room all this time? Oh, what a scandal! Not male? Oh, okay then, if you say so..."
She was clearly not convinced.
"Eighteen?" She echoed, raising an eyebrow, "Never been touched?"

"No. I'm saying that I had been sleeping in an unused dorm," He insisted stubbornly as he shifted his weapon to lash out at her right side, "just to throw you off." Though he was starting to wonder why he was throwing so much energy into diverting Ariane as to which room was or was not his. It was almost like a game by now.
Jude let out a small huff, "If you're asking if I am a virgin I am not," he said bluntly and in a rather deadpan voice. The spilling of that particular truth made is heart hurt sorely, however. It made him remember Her.

"Oh, stop it," She couldn't resist laughing, waving a hand in a dismissive manner in the air, "Although I'm honored that you would go through such lengths to try and mislead me, it's not working, Judy."
She charged forward, and slammed her weapon's steel balls against his side, "I'm surprised you would admit that so easily." She grinned, putting some distance between them.

"Not going to stop it until you prove to me that you know which room is mine," he retorted but it was soon followed up by a short grunt as the balls hit against his side. He swayed to the side a bit and then tried to swipe at her as she tried to put a bit of distance between them. He felt some resistance as she failed to escape unscathed.
He straightened his stance with an eyebrow raised, "Why would I hide that? It isn't like I'm ashamed that I not a virgin."
