Name you wish your pets to call you: Any combination of 'Master' and 'Tai', either stand-alone or together.
Bio: The offspring of a man and his pet/wife, Taivas lived with his parents until the age of 16, when his mother died of cancer and his heartbroken father put a bottle to his head and pulled the trigger. Living alone in the house for several years, he finally decided that there was something missing in his life, and made the decision to find a girl of his own to care for, hoping to fill the void. Needing a new change in scenery as well, he sold the house.
Appearance:

Powers: Can heal minor wounds, but in order to do so for another person, he must first injure himself (that'll make more sense if he ever has to do it.). For that reason, he always carries with him a small pocket knife.
Room Description: Room
How often you're online: Daily, unless something unexpected keeps me away. (would explain what that was before just disappearing)
Your pets names: N/A

A bit of a sigh escaped Taivas' lips as he dropped himself down on the couch nestled against a wall of his room. He had just finally managed to finish unpacking the single piece of luggage he'd brought with him from his old home; everything he'd wanted to keep. He sold everything else. A hand rose to brush a few stray strands of hair from his eyes as his gaze turned ceilingward. "Surprised I was even able to find this room in the first place," he mumbled to himself. "The place is huge..."

He wasn't on the furniture for long. Bracinghis hands to either side, he pushed himself to his feet and strode toward the bed, grabbing the luggage bag he'd brought and zipping it closed. pulling it from the bed he bent down, pushing it underneath the bed to keep it out of the way of his daily wandering. "That aught to do it," he mused, standing straight again, his arms crossing over his chest.

Emerilla had taken on a more feline humanoid appearance as she wandered the west wing where the Masters and Mistresses resided. She was curious, and with Chloe out exploring on her own, the shape shifter decided that the time had come for her to continue making friends of her own. Her dearest friend had been right about this mansion, it was a lovely place, and those who resided within the walls were quite charming. She had never been a 'pet' before, so naturally, she was curious. So with that in mind she zigzagged across the hall in her searching, her long, wavy haired tail trailing behind her.

Presently she came to a door, and she smelled the difference in the air here. It was freshly disturbed as the scent hung clear in the air and she followed through to it. The door was closed, but she lifted her paw and knocked loudly on the door, and stepped back, awaiting to see if she would be answered.

Tai had already been moving toward the door when he heard the knocking from the other side. His intent had been to wander the premises for a bit to learn his way around, though the sudden unexpected visitor put a slight damper on such a plan. Not that he minded. He hadn't exactly come to the mansion to be left alone, after all.

The knock had caused him to pause his forward motion, but only for a second or two. Closing the remaining distance between himself and the exit to the hallway, his hand closed around the handle to the door and twisted, pulling the barrier toward him. His gaze quickly fell upon the knocker, and he gave a bit of a nod. "Oh, hello," he said, his hand leaving the door knob. "Surprised me a little. Wasn't expecting guests so soon after arriving."

Emerilla looked up with a start, her long tail jumping into her paws as she hugged around it to ease her nerves. She found herself tongue tied for a moment, even though she had knocked, the fact the door was answered surprised her a little. A male stood before her on the other side and she meekly bowed her head, averting her eyes downward before she lifted her head again to him. "I..I'm sorry Sir. I was out trying to meet new people and I thought I would try knocking. I..I'm so very sorry if I've disturbed you, I can go if you like," the woman side, as her paws were still busily petting over her own tail. A nervous tic she had developed since a wildfire consumed her homeland, forcing her to flee.

It was comforting to see that he wasn't too upset and that he had spoken to her. That was a good sign, yes? She laughed nervously. "My friend said that people here were quick to welcome newcomers. It seems inadvertently, I've become one of them," she said softly as her ears laid back flat against her head.

Taivas stood at the door calmly while the girl that had appeared at her door explained her reason for being there. From the way she was standing while she spoke, she appeared nervous for having knocked at all. "Don't worry," he said when she fell silent. "You're not disturbing me." Saying that, the corner of his mouth curled up into a bit of a smile hoping to alleviate her worry.

His hands moved to his sides, thumbs hooking into the pockets of his pants as he leaned sideways against the door frame. He took a moment to let his eyes move along the girl standing before him, taking in her appearance. He wasn't put off by the fact that she didn't appear human, though he'd certainly never seen anybody with a tail before. He thought it was interesting, nonetheless, and thought nothing of it further than that.

After a moment, he realized that he hadn't said anything else, and pushed himself from the doorframe, brushing his shirt sleeve off with a hand lightly. "You don't have to leave, if you don't want to. I don't mind."

Her ears twitched, as she could plainly see that his eyes had lingered on her tail, and she had dropped it from her paws, kicking it behind her against the floor with her leg. Her paw like hands had clasped behind her back as she looked up to him. "Oh.. phew.. hehe good, I'm glad. I would have hated that my first impression upon you was of a nuisance," she said, and her chuckle was a purr.

At this, Emerilla took pause, and she looked down at the carpet of the hallway, lost for words. Conversation was by no means her strong suit. Not with people she did not know that well. So she took once again to combing her paws over her tail as she took it up again. The male before her looked normal enough, not like one of the demons or shifters or vampires she knew to reside her. This gave her cause to be curious and start asking questions.

"Thank you, you're very kind. My name is Emerilla, may I inquire as to your name?" she asked of him softly, her voice barely ever going above a whisper.

Taivas gave a hint of a smile as her shyness made it's presence known, standing there in the hallway. "Oh, no. Not a nuisance at all. No worries there." He couldn't blame her for not being much of a talker at the moment. He was a stranger to her, after all. Striking up conversations with someone you're only meeting for the first time is never an easy thing to do. At least, not in any of his life experiences.

When she offered her name, he gave her a slight bow of the head. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Emerilla. An interesting name you have. Rather unique." He paused, thinking for a moment to himself before nodding, as if affirming something to himself. "As for my name, I was blessed with the moniker of Taivas."

"Thank you, it's a very old name from my race. And yours, Tai..vas," the shifter repeated quietly on her breath as he introduced himself to her, and a smile came across her lips. "I like that name, it sounds foreign to me." She tried once again to drop her tail, determined to overcome this shyness of hers, wouldn't Chloe be so proud of her when she had? The thought brought a smile to her lips.

Thinking almost nothing of it, Emerilla flopped down onto her back legs and looked up as she sat in the hallway looking up at Taivas. Slowly her tail had began to swish back and forth against the carpet and she inhaled deeply before she would screw up the courage to press on, eager to master this art of speaking with those she was unfamiliar with. "Might I ask where you come from, and what brings you here, Master Taivas?" she asked of him. In her mind she was fretting over whether or not she had addressed him properly. This system of titles and paying respect where it was due was quite new to her after all.

Taivas gave a little smile of his own. "Thank you," he said, nodding a little. "My name is foreign, actually. I can't remember which language, exactly, but my name translates to 'Heaven'." He paused, then started to chuckle lightly. "Though, the fact that I don't believe in any kind of god makes that a little ironic, I think." Shaking his head to break the quiet laughter, he was about to say something else before he bore witness to Emerilla suddenly drop to the floor in from of him.

That was a little easier than expected, Taivas thought to himself, seeing her position and hearing her attach a title to his name. But let's not get ahead of ourselves... Nothing good ever comes from rushing into anything. Maybe she's just being respectful. "You may," he granted in reply, holding up a finger. "But first..." He took a couple steps back, his arms waving back behind him as he twisted 90 degrees. "Why don't you come in for a bit while we talk?" He knew this establishment didn't particularily care, but Tai wasn't - at this point, anyway, - keen on the idea by bringing a bunch of attention to himself because of a kneeling cat girl in front of his door.

Emerilla's ears twitched and angled backward in curiosity. "Heaven.. Oooo I've heard stories of that place. The fables.. very popular bedtime stories back home. They always sounded so pretty." she purred, and she closed her eyes with a light smile as she began to think back on her lost home. Even swaying lightly back and forth a bit as she did so.

When he moved back and invited her in, she took to her feet again and brushed off her clothes from the small collections of fuzz and lint from the hall's carpet. "Thank, Sir Taivas, that is very kind of you," she said and she bowed her head respectfully towards him as she stepped past him into the room. Her eyes would gaze around, wondering, and curious, and she sniffed at the air as the room presented a new area to explore. Her tail swayed and curled behind her as she stepped to the middle of the room and stood, looking at him with a light smile upon her lips.

Taivas stepped aside as she made enterance into the room, waiting for her tail to clear the doorframe before stepping a little further in with her. He kept relatively out of her way while she made her way to the center, watching as she gave the living space her brand of inspection. He left the door open behind them. "By that smile," he commented after a moment, "It appears as though you like my room." He gave a bit of a shrug, looking around as well. "It's comfortable, so I'm happy."

"I'd offer you something to drink, but I haven't gotten a refridgerator in here yet,"
he admitted, scratching a little at the back of his neck for a second before letting his hand drop to his side. "Anyway, have a seat." He paused, then added. "Or a kneel, I suppose. Whichever you're more comfortable with." Saying that, he backed toward his couch against the wall next to the door and sat down, leaning forward and resting his arms on his thighs.

"I do, very much. It must be nice having your room to yourself," she said as she finished peering about the other's room. She had been lucky she supposed, sharing a room with Chloe so that their room was already furnished from when her friend had first come to this mansion. "This entire mansion looks so comfortable and plush, it's like a dream come true. Like.. it has a little bit of everything from what I've seen so far," she said softly.

Nonetheless the feline like woman raised her paws and shook her head with a smile at his admittance over a drink, and she noticed his stance. She thought perhaps he was nervous, which was understandable. "It's fine, really, but it's the thought that counts, yes?" she asked with a tilt to her head as she took a crouching sort of seat upon a chair. "Your chairs.. and room.. is comfortable indeed," she told him and she looked up. Her tail tucking about herself and her arms settled into her lap as she awaited for him to tell her more about himself.

"Having a room to myself isn't really anything new to me," Taivas said, letting his eyes lift and look around at the lime-colored decor. "My parents died when I was 16, and I have been living alone ever since then." A quiet sigh escaped his lips as he took just a moment to remember his folks, though the thoughts didn't distract him for long. He did have company, after all. He didn't want to appear rude.

"As for this mansion," he continued, looking back at her, "I hope that what you say is true. This is probably the largest building I've ever seen, much less been inside of. Getting out there and exploring it should be an interesting experience for me." His hands closed together as he learned back, resting his hands in his lap. "I relocated myself here because, well..." he paused, trying to find the right sequence of words. "I'm just tired of being alone all the time now. I have been for seven years."

Tired of staying in her room, Annora had decided to take a walk inside the mansion, in a futile attempt of finding somebody else except her mirror to interact with. Few hours passed smoothly since she'd arrived, and seeing how the atmosphere here was dreadfully silent she fancied knocking one of the doors. From the sounds inside, she could only count two persons at least, if there was another one it might as well be mute for she could not hear anything else and she drew back a step, waiting to be answered. This was a place exquisitely created for master and pets, but her only purpose here was to begin a new life, so she could not quite establish an equilibrium inside her mind. It was still too early. She had a long way to go until she would be used with the new concept, and until then she had to do her best in building the foundation.
Checking on others, was the best idea that came to her.

Ooc: Sorry for rudely interrupting your rp, i might have gotten a little bored of keeping my character in her room. If you find it inappropriate, do tell :3
