Hey everyone,

So the 2011 season of MLG is over and my team's dedication and determination paid off with a 4th place finish at the National Championship. Now that the season is over, I can now put most of my time and effort into playing SC. My goal is to eventually make a full transition over to competitive SC from professional Halo. What I'm wondering is if there is anyone that would be up for practicing with me? I'm starting at the very beginning so it's going to be a very long road for me. I'm hoping to start a new Fnatic/Youtube video series documenting my progression over time. Would anyone be up for helping me out?

you play Terran right? just add me, Vei 585, and when we're both online we can practice. i prefer not to play too late at night because it tends to make falling asleep pretty hard =p

Alright sounds good smile . Mine is Spikemouth 406. I'm pretty bad right now so I don't know that much at the moment. I'm testing out which race I want to be so I haven't fully decided what race I want to be yet. I need to figure out some builds and work on my apm so I can actually win some games hahaha.

for now I would suggest playing with alt + F (ally colors) to make minimap reading easier for someone newer to RTS

and then practice your mechanics by playing a lot of games and keeping your money low and your supply blocks minimal

then once your mechanics get satisfactory (should be the easiest part to pick up initially for anyone who's been competitive at other games since you know what it takes) you can focus on strategy and more efficient APM towards scouting which is the hard stuff imo biggrin D

I'm usually online a decent amount (been playing a bunch of new vegas recently though), and practice is always good.
