Night grinned as his hand rolled on the joystick of the game machine. Picking up a new habit, beyond his usually intense shopping trip where he ended up spending a lot, or on the crazy field trips that usually ended up with him dying and reforming or whatever, Night had found a new pleasure.
One that game in the Scaracade type. He discovered the greatest thing known to Halloween town and that was.....
He could win by using his bad luck FEAR.
It wasn't cheating when it came naturally to the Black cat! He had decimated opponents in fighting and racing games, eaten the Snackman machine alive and earning himself a good amount of little tickets to turn in for those ridiculous adorable headphones. Did he feel guilty?
Only a tiny bit but then again, he was given the ablities for a REASON. What good did they come from being bottled up in the pair of dice or deck of cards he carried around. How often did he end up roping a student into a game of chance to expel the bad luck vibes?
Not often enough, he sighed.
Here though, the owners didn't even notice. All he did was phase his hand (God it was handy to be a ghost too.) Into the machine...let the bad luck slowly accumlate in his hands and give the machine a little jolt.
And like a pizza roll in the oven, it oozed tickets and high scores.
Yeah sometimes it was so good to be bad. He snickered as he looked around....he needed an opponent though.

"I saw that."
A low voice from behind the cat, in the midst of the busy arcade, came from a draconic reaper. It wasn't in an accusing tone as much as it was a simple statement. Form the way he stood with a bag of tickets in hand, he was in no rush to report the ghost either. Actually, he was incredibly curious as to what the ghost had done.
"What did you do? It looks handy." His mild tone was loud enough over the noise of the racing and roulette games, staring at the machine. How did putting one's hand into the machine equal winning?

Night almost jumped at the voice as he looked over his shoulder, his hand slowly phasing back OUT of the arcade machine before his tail whipped.
He looked the boil over, noting that he looked slightly familier before his ear perked and flicked at him. He had nothing against Reapers or anything like that but, they did make a ghost feel uncomfortable.
He waited a beat before a slow grin spread over his face. "Saw what?" He looked around before beckoning the boil closer, it wasn't like the boy would tell someone right away right? He'd been doing this awhile now and he had been smart...about it.
"She can be really fickle if I talk about her too openly." As to who "She" was, he didn't say before opening his hand out to the other boil. "I happen to be a black cat, people call me unlucky and I was born from that Fear. So I got this little handy thing from Lady luck herself...." His eyes widened before he pulled back, "But I won't tell you anymore. If you really wanna know....You'll have to play me at some games and win." His tail flicked, like he'd let the last part happen anyways. "That is...If you can." He cocked his head at the reaper.
Opponent found.

"Well.. You sort of already told everything with just that, dude." Vaith sent the boil a questioning look, taking little bait to rise up to the challenge. It wasn't as if Vaith was particularly interested, it was just curiousness that led him to look forward.
The boil didn't know how to make a riddle properly. Didn't the "black cat" say it all in Halloween? Why was he challenging Vaith again.. Oh. It was the arcade. Practically an iron rule to weed out challengers and winners. Luckily, Vaith was a challenger.
"You look sort of pathetic without another player to play with though. Doesn't it suck to win alone?" Vaith asked mildly, taking some seeds out of his pocket to insert into the machine. The boil hadn't been very smart about cheating if someone caught him-- Vaith wouldn't call that smart at all. "Although, with Lady Luck picking you, that gives me something to blame the loss on. Lucky me!" Vaith's tone was cheerful, straightening upwards to take the opposite side of controls.
"Can you win without Lady luck?"

"Eh?" He cocked his head at the other boil before snickering, "Are you kidding? All I told you was that I am a unlucky cat, and I was gifted something from lady luck." Night looked at the boil with skecptism before shrugging.
"Hey hey, That's not very nice." The cat's ears flattened at the word pathetic before rising again, not like he actually cared much after all , "It depends again on what I'm winning, and I've got my eye on one of those cute little minipets for my little lusty demon." He of course was pointing to a a couple of the minipets offered for a certain amount of tickets. Usually a high amount of tickets. He watched as the other boil put seeds in and smiled. Though the other boil was more on the blunter and quiet side, anyone willing to pay attention to a black cat, was well, in Night's book awesome.
"Before we start though, I guess we should exchange names. I'm Nightengale XII, Night for short." He held out his hand for a shake, a small faint of green glove emitted around his gloves. "She's a fickle creature Lady Luck. And it's not like I was chosen by her." In fact, his relationship was very...very complicated after all.
The question threw him off though. "Without?" Without Lady Luck....that left him with Lady Unlucky. And the bad luck he emitted naturally was influxated by the combination of the two. He grinned though.
"Guess we'll see and find out eh?" he grabbed the hands of the controllers on his side.Quote: GAME TIMEEEEEE - Jackken 2 (Thought this would help with the Rping, let me know if not QAQ) Mechanics: Night and Vaith find themselves in the middle of intense fighting game. "You've got an eye on it? I'm not stopping you." Vaith glanced in the direction of the prizes, none particularly pleasing. But then again, he wasn't looking to give it to someone either so the appealing factor just went down.
"Hi night. I'm Vaith. I'm a reaper." His yellow gloves brushed against Night's glowing one, his ring emanating a similar light, a streak of black in the center like an eye of a dragon was staring ahead.
The battle started. With Night's nasty combo kicker.

Night's eyebrow rose at the boil before his tail flicked and a grin spread. "No but the tickets are. Besides....What's to say you won't take me out later hmmm?" Night furiously tapped the buttons as he dealed a extreme combo. "Nice to meet you Vaith the Reaper."
No sooner had the game begun that Vaith reverted to even MORE quieter and was just as intensely meeting his combo's with his own. Jack this kid was good!
"Ah you got me with that one!" Night hissed...with a smile as Vaith took down his character's Hp. "So....You like Amityville? I don't think I've seen you in any of the classes...though then again, I've never really attended any..."

"Whoever wins, you can keep the tickets. But I think we should bet a meal on this or something." Vaith thought that a meal was worth a lot more than flimsy papers. Even if those flimsy papers could win you a pretty addition to your room.
BAM.
This guy was good. Vaith took a nasty blow, flinching as his HP went down, ebbing away.
"That depends. Do you like being on a roller coaster for your life? The again, the excitement makes it hard to walk away." Like these games. You could put the controller down for only so long. It was unsaid that Vaith didn't see the black cat around either. Obviously, if Night didn't see Vaith, how was the noise reaper supposed to see Night?

Night blinked at the bet on a meal before seriously considering it. He was hungry...he could eat food. Okay. "Fine, a meal deal it is Bro. You win, I'll buy you the biggest all you can eat buffet meal you want. You lose, I get your tickets, your room number and a visit to harass you one day in the far far future." He grinned, his tail flicking back and forth.
If Vaith thought Night was good, well the same could be said for the noise reaper. They were neck in neck as both of them furiously played on the buttons. Damn, Night wasn't even sure if he'd win this. And the thought of paying for a large a** meal was well...not optional. No way would he lose!
"I could say that I like the roller coaster of my life now but I got a feeling, with this school, We're just making our uphill acesioncion into the true ride of our life. You ever get that feeling, even in excitement, that your headed somewhere you didn't plan on in the first place?" Night looked over at Vaith, his tail flicking, "Just how far in excitement are you willing to lose yourself in Vaith?" Night hissed as he watched his Hp for his character drop down again.Random Artist So sorry for the late tag! QQ
