Cass had gone back to her room swearing up a storm after she'd...dumped hot chocolate all over herself, swinging the door open so hard that it actually slammed into the wall and made it sound as though she'd gotten back to her room pissed as hell. Throwing the cookies on the bed she didn't even bother closing the door behind her as she went about the more important of her tasks:
Changing her shirt.
Pulling off the jacket (vest, practically) she wore, she mulled about her task while she picked out a clean shirt, pulling off the stained one to change it up. Still, trying to think of anybody she knew who was 'suave' and 'charming' and...would romantically kiss it up was baffling. She'd never actually considered about...oh...everybody but one person she'd met for any task like that. As it was, that person was..well... hers. She wasn't giving him to Julie!
Damn, what did Julie even consider on that front? Did she have a type outside of 'suave' and 'charming'? Her idea of charming probably wasn't the same as that of a woman who was at least three years older than her.
At least.
Oh god, she was about Marcus's age too... s**t!! She needed to stop letting him pop into her thoughts as a candidate. She wouldn't do that to him, even out of the possible lols of it!! Auugguuuggghhh!!
In the middle of changing, Cass made a noise like a wounded and distressed animal, the shirt only pulled over her head at this point.

Bix was at that moment walking down the hall. Upon discovering that it was Christmas time and that the island had decorations, he had gone out to find some for his room. He was coming back with a string of lights and some plain red christmas balls clutched in his arms and he was pretty pleased to brighten up his white washed bedroom.
He heard a crazy scream coming from Cass's room and it paused him in his steps. He didn't burst right in, he was too timid for that... what if she was naked? He stopped, pressed his ear to the door and listened for voices. He didn't hear Marcus. He didn't even hear words. Cass was obviously frustrated with something and shifting around a whole bunch.
"Yo.. Cass?" He tapped a knuckle on the door, shifting his decorations in his arms. "Everything good?"

Cass paused, taking a moment to finish making herself look half-decent (only half, though) before walking over to the door to open it, just giving Bix the saddest face ever. Okay, probably not ever, but there was obviously distress. "I DON'T BACHELOR HUNT." she blurted, not even giving a context for the situation, which probably wasn't going to help whatever impression it was that she gave her neighbor.
Within a moment, she looked down to the lights that Bix had in his arms. "You do the christmas thing, huh?" she was almost jealous. She'd spent her last Christmas....at a hotel eating McDonald's, if she recalled correctly. It hadn't been the classiest Christmas she'd had, but it hadn't been the...weirdest one either, to be honest. Life was stupid.
After a moment, she walked over to her bed and picked up the bag of cookies, seeming to debate eating one or not. The 'comfort food' look probably wasn't helping any assumptions that were being made.

"Wait, what?" He looked totally boggled. "I'm confused?" He glanced down at his decorations and back up to her. Why were girls so strange?
"Yeah Christmas is good. Presents, food, snow, lights. Always got vacations... I mean probably not here but it's tradition. plus free s**t for my room." He gave a thumbs up. Bix watched her pace and pick up a bag of cookies. He could see them through the bag and the familiar scent reached his nose. Memories of warmth and giddy things flooded his mind.
"Are those from the cafeteria? I wouldn't eat those.." He turned red for whatever reason, his hidden cookie experience.

Because they could be. That was the only answer to the strangeness, as it was. "Sounds nice. We didn't have a 'steady' Christmas, my 'rents and I were always on the road. So....it wasn't really a special thing. But hey, anything to lift the mood around here is good." she grinned, then looked down at the cookies, setting the bag back on the bed.
"They're actually from someone..." a look came over her face as Cass walked over to Bix and pulled on his cheeks, though she was oddly gentle about it. "Somebody has asked me to introduce them to boys. I'm not sure if it's because I just..know guys all over, or ..other assumptions. I don't know how to do that!!" she sighed, releasing the poor assaulted face in question, just giving him this heartbroken look.
"It's sad because..I dunno..she's a nice person, but I think she has too much enthusiasm maybe? I mean..." Cass sighed. "She's about your energy level, Bix. Her room is insane."
Cass waved her hands around to emphasize this.
"Totally insane. Completely decked out."

Bix immediately turned sort of red. Why? Because he knew he wanted to be the bachelor who was recruited. But why was she acting like she didn't know single guys? Why was she not seeing the obvious. Bix clearly wanted to be asked but he couldn't be too eager.
It had not even dawned on him that the girl in questions could be awful. It only mattered that she was a girl. s**t. What if it was a girl he already knew?
He stared. She wasn't seeing it. Hello Cass? He bobbed his head, eyes darting side to side.
"Hey I'll do it!" He couldn't wait for her to rant more. His brain hadn't thought much but 'free girlfree girlfree girl' and now he was absorbing the details. High energy, decked out room (always a bonus) and nice person. Couldn't be too bad. Plus he'd yet to see a girl on campus who was unattractive.
"I mean.." He tried to look suave but.. .. yeah. "If you think I fit the bill."

"......"
His attempt to look 'suave' might have earned a giggle if Cass hadn't been completely serious about the entire situation. Still, she hadn't been thinking about throwing this big responsibility onto her neighbor. She had to live with him, practically and would have hated to put him up to something he might just.. completely hate her for. Still, the look on her face was completely brightened when he just up and volunteered himself for it.
She might have tackled him with a hug if she wasn't already right there to just try to squeeze the life out of him with relief. "You're the best!" she beamed, leaning in to kiss him on the cheek - totally brother-sister platonically, of course. That seemed to be where their relationship had landed them. Strange brother-sister-sibling-platonic zone.
Probably for the better.
"The only thing I'd worry about is the super-romantic-kissing thing she has expectations of, but that's more of a 'if that creeps you the ******** out' matter of business more than anything else." She gave him a look that said 'PLEASE DON'T LET THAT BE A DEAL BREAKER'

Bix just jostled his decorations as he was grabbed and kissed on the cheek. It wasn't much of a shock and he seemed more worried about dropping his Christmas balls. Then she laid the whopper on him.
Romantic. Kiss. Thing.
"Wait.." He thought, face wrinkling. "..like just show up and kiss her or hang out and woo her into a kiss?" Why did this particular male seem to think that wooing would be more effective for him? HE JUST DID. Like mostly every man, deep down he thought he was a romantic person. "Cause I mean a kiss is a kiss but real romance?" That was some pressure.

Cass paused. "To be honest, I have no idea. I'm thinking some impressions may need to be made, rather than 'SUDDENLY MAKEOUT' happening all over." Though somehow she could see her shoving Bix into Julie's room and her pouncing on him like a starved tiger would a stranded baby deer. It was sort of horrific.
"She's definitely aiming for the romance bit though." Cass bit her lower lip. She'd never actually seen Bix be 'romantic' by any means, but then again..he was Bix. Big brother Bix. BBB. She didn't take anything he did in that inclination. "At least that seemed to important."

"Waaaaaiiiit..." Bix narrowed his eyes at her suspiciously. "Do I know this girl?" What if it was Minerva.. or any other girl who it would be weird with. But then again.. it could be Clarice. Oh.. well.. that would be nice..
"Is there any other catch? Some horrible disfigurement or her personality is equal to a female Caelius or something?" He was still squinting suspiciously at Cass.

Cass's eyes flickered away from Bix's face, then back to it again.
"She's not a trainee." she answered, not really answering the question about if Bix knew her or not. He..knew her in passing? Still, maybe just 'She's not a trainee' would be a good enough answer. "Definitely not Caelius-worthy. She doesn't like the division leaders, they're not in her..tastes?"

The name 'Clarice' exploded in fireworks above his head, or would have if his brain could program fireworks on the fly. His eyes lit up a bit and he nodded.
"Ok.. I will do it." Visions of himself smooching Clarice danced through his head with christmas cherubs dangling mistletoe and santa hats appearing on their heads. Why? Christmas was a wonderful time!
"When is this meeting thing? Should i get changed or shower or .. co..logne?" He had no idea. He had cologne but he hadn't worn it in years. Maybe aftershave would smell good enough?

Poor Bix didn't even have a clue. His little heart would probably be broken when who he was meeting wasn't Clarice, but Cass had no ideas of the expectations that he had.
"I'd say look nice, but don't.. look fancy? That might be too much. I'd say sooner is better too, but if you want to take a bit and clean up or something, I'll wait and then we can go. Might make a better impression on her too." Even if that impression was that Bix didn't smell like Trainee. Whatever worked.
"Especially when she's christmasing up her room. She might like the smell of Christmas-stuff over any smelly-stuff that you guys put on. Subtle is good. I like subtle. I assume as a fellow woman, she does too."

Subtle. So no aftershave or cologne. He smelled his hair real quick, yep shampoo. That's good. He smelled his pits. Yep, just deodorant. He was clean.
Bix nodded at Cass and headed to his room. "I'll knock back for you in a little bit.. WAIT. Jacket and scarf or compleeeetely casual?" Or would she yell at him for not being in uniform?
His door was half open and he was stepping in. As soon as she answered the question he would get to work spiffing it up and dreaming it's Clarice.
You know it's probably not Clarice. What? Does she seem like the type to send another ghoul to find her a man?
He had no response for that but his heart hit his stomach. He'd already agreed of course. Siiiiiiiiiigggggh.

Cass seemed to think about it. "I'd say uniform is fine, but if you want to change it up a bit you could. I dunno, it seems like it should be a relatively casual meeting. She's always so busy she can't really go out and meet guys, y'know? Busy working with the Master Hunters who are like OHHH, I TAKE ALL YOUR TIME."
She wondered if that was how it would be if she ever got that much status. Then again, if Marcus became a Master-Hunter himself she could be his assistant. There might have been a happy sigh right then.
"But like..don't totally Christmas it up. Try to look..Suave, but not like you're going to immediately jump her."
