In human form, Warwick had never had any troubles with heights, with wandering, with tight spots and awkward-to-get-to locations. He'd always been a climber, and it had always been more about the journey and the movement and figuring out how to get from here to there than anything else.
That was, of course, when he'd been human. Several days ago, mid-acrobatic-stunt, he'd found himself taking on a new shape: the long line of his body shrinking down at an alarming rate, and when he'd hit the ground, it had been on four fuzzy paws. Had he put his hat out before this point, it could have been a gold mine; his audience ooed and aaahed and clapped, but when he didn't turn back into human, just sat and stared at them in a stunned cat form, they'd grown uncomfortable and wandered off.
He was just glad no one had stolen anything.
Anyway, he'd had some time to adjust now, and that adjustment had come with the realization that he had even more of a capacity to run and jump and climb and adventure than before. Warwick didn't know the how or the why, but he found he didn't mind it. It was kind of, well, fun.
So he'd worked his way up this tree, jumping nimbly into the branches, claws digging into bark. It had been impossibly easy to get higher than he'd ever been before.
He hit near the top, looked down, and froze.
Warwick had no idea how to get back down.

It was after the fact, by longer than he was really comfortable with, but Bjorn had finally come by the realisation that just leaving things in the park might be against park regulations. Maybe even illegal, and while he hadn't left his bag with the cart ( leaving one's wallet in public was never a good idea), it wasn't as though there were dozens of fitness and weight-training enthusiasts running the parks of Destiny City. He was a pretty distinct looking guy, anyway, and usually tried to give a smile and wave when he passed the "city's finest."
From the looks of it though, as he trotted up in approach, dragging his bag along with the shoulder pad squarly across his fluffy chest, there were neither citations nor any signs of disturbance. If anyone had checked it out, they likely concluded it would be either too much trouble or impossible to move.
Some rustling very nearby caught his attention, dragging his whiskers and eyes skyward for the source. A bird? He loved looking at birds, more than before even. No...a cat-bird? No, just..he thought the silhouette must be a cat, or a MASSIVE squirrel. It was really way up there. He'd never seen a cat that high before, except in fireman-rescue photos on the front of really local newspapers.
"Are they okay?" Then calling up worriedly, "Are you alright?"

Warwick leaned forward to peer down, the branch swaying wildly as he shifted and his heart leaping up into his throat. The worry and confusion was only redoubled as he saw the source of the question: another cat, perhaps a bit broader through the shoulders than him, speaking in perfect English. Nevermind that he, himself, was a cat who could talk right now. It was still weird as hell to see another one. Still too strange for him to be comfortable with.
His ears going flat, he hunkered down against the too-slim branch, blue eyes flicking over the potential route down. Everything looked too small. Perhaps it wasn't, for a cat, but he wasn't used to being a cat. He was over thinking it. And as such, he was stuck.
"...I'm..." He hesitated. Was he alright? That was an uncomfortable question. His own vowels were long, nasal, decisively Australian. "So long as I stay right here and don't fall to my death, I guess I'm...okay, yeah."
But he didn't sound sure.

So...did that mean he WAS okay? It sounded like a terrible situation to be in, having to not move at all or fall a long way. But he said he guessed he was okay. He thought the tone sounded unsure, but that may have been the really odd accent. Was that cat being sarcastic? It didn't sound quite as belittling as that. It just sounded unsettled. Maybe he just hadn't tried to get down yet, so he didn't know if it was impossible.
Was it a he? It sounded it. It wasn't as apparent as a cat a tree away from another cat. There were no bows or pink collars anyway. "I'll try to come up...? "
It was a brief sojourn. With a butt-wiggle and a great muscular heft, he pounced up to the lowest branches and pawed from limb to limb, looking for other ways up. It wasn't very graceful. His balance was pretty good as a cat, because he was a cat, but every jump was a scramble of either overcompensating or under-compensating. He didn't climb many trees as a boy, and he was less than practiced at it as a cat. In no time he was half off a limb, hind legs dangling and forelegs scrambling with claws to hold on, "I don't....not gonna make...it!"
And down he went the vastly shorter distance from the low canopy to land in a bank of leaves and frost at the bottom of the tree. He bounded out offended and startled, and his rump sore. He called up loudly, "I'll get help! Hold on! Don't fall!"
And he was off at a quick lope, occasionally favoring his back leg in a diminishing limp. :::: work it out! He needs help! ::::: But where to look? On the park trails was usually where people kept. He barreled along looking for a likely, well ANY, person. "Heeey! Someone?! "

He'd tried, briefly, to come down -- and his little heart had been left pounding, uncertain. So now he just hunched down on the branch, trying to figure out why he was afraid of heights. He never had been before.
He'd also never been quite this high before. Well, he'd been higher, but he'd been bigger, and somehow that made a world of difference.
"Help! Yeah, that'd..." Was the cat even still there? He couldn't make out the shape below, even as he leaned down and squinted. In fact, Bjorn had already trotted off, leaving Warwick to fend for himself. "...well. Help would be great, right now."
