Prompt

This male Na'vi-Azrein is a loner. He has gone from tribe to tribe, but no one has ever wanted him. He looks different from all, as his skin is black, and not blue, like the others. Does he find a place to call home? Will he have to prove himself worthy? Will he be a great leader? A sinister Na'vi, bitter from resentment and his loneliness driving him insane? It's up to you!

Kanu wandered through the night, the iridescent glow from the many spots on his coat gave one the image of stars moving (especially if he was silhouetted against the night sky) like a chunk of the heavens sent to forever wander the earth. A wanderer was what he found himself to be, but not by choice. His father fell in love with a mare that was not of the People, and they’d had an affair, producing a single son whom was left to his father to raise alone. He’d thought himself proud to be so much like his father, a proud Na’vi warrior, that he’d longed to follow in his hooves. He looked much like the People, except for one difference…his coat was black. He worked and was trained hard by his Father, eventually proving himself to be a great warrior in hopes that when his father went back home with him, he’d be accepted.

That’d been far from the case. In fact, the People of his father’s clan had been so furious of what he’d done (for it was discovered by his son that his hero had cheated on his life mate, though it was not a true mating, it had been of convenience, but it was still highly taboo to do) that his father was punished..and his son was cast out. They would not allow him near his Father ever again; for they believed such would be a reward of his wrongdoing. It had been the last time he ever saw him.

Now, Kanu wandered from clan to clan, seeking to find the place he belonged. He loved the ways of the Na’vi even if such affection was never returned in his favor. He was regarded with suspicion wherever he went, and though he pulled his weight, and treated everyone with respect, they did not like having one who was not pure among them, a reminder of what one should never do outside the People. Would he ever find his place?

This particular night found him wandering aimlessly, depressed and lonely. He’d never had a friend or someone to confide in outside of his Father, and he missed him greatly. At one point he’d been angry but gave that up after awhile, it just cost too much energy and time to hate everyone. He’d grown quieter over the years to the point that he rarely spoke aloud to anyone. Even a smile was a rare gem to treasure if one earned it, but he WAS loyal to a fault. Still, his ability to trust was shattered, and could one fault him? Spending his whole life being teased, picked on, and kicked out of each clan? Still, he couldn’t convince himself to give up his dream…and so he wandered, seeking a home that didn’t exist.

He finally came upon a small pond that lay in his path, and for a moment did nothing but stare in the water, watching the waves make the stars above him twinkle.

“Father, what must I do? What do I lack that I cannot find a home?” he whispered to the water. “It is by your side that I belong, but you are gone. I am alone…Oh, Father, I miss you so. I want to give up, I cannot do this anymore...”

He began to bend his head to sip at the water enough to wet his mouth (he wasn’t truly thirsty, depressed as he was), when he heard a voice in his head say “My Father would be disappointed.” It was so strong that it made him stop what he was doing. It was true…if his father could see him now, he’d be whipped into shape by his father’s teeth and hooves before he could have finished the sentence. Cocking his head, he gazed once more at his reflection, this time seeing not someone who’d been rejected by everyone, but a proud stallion warrior, ready for battle should his services be needed. He would not give up, Eywa would not allow him. He would FIND HIS HOME!!

With renewed strength, he continued on his journey. He would make his Father proud yet.

Name : Iheyu (meaning : spiral; since he's hard to understand for some other navis [i'm gonna' call em' navis in this RP prompt C:]).

RP Prompt : " Go away, don't ever come back! "

Iheyu thundered down the river, while some other navis chase him. Iheyu is a clumsy navi, and he was just about to get accepted in a tribe, but he bumped over their precious statue, and it broke. This is the 10th time he's been rejected, trying to join a tribe. Every tribe rejects him because of his appearance; some navis consider him as a demon. Iheyu ran as fast as he can, but finally, the navis caught up with him.

" Get him! "
" Let's burn him! "
" Drag him to the tribe's shaman, so he can be tortured! "

The navis dragged Iheyu, which can't do anything else, but just... Do nothing. The navis dragged Iheyu to their shaman. Their shaman looks at Iheyu. Iheyu has powerful legs, the shaman thought.

" Tell me, what is your name, young one? Where are you from? "

Iheyu can't look at the shaman's eyes. He looks at the ground, then it took him a few minutes to form some words, then he finally spoke.

" M-my name is... Iheyu. I'm from the Herwi tribe, the tribe on the white land, which looks like snow. "

The shaman kicks Iheyu's legs, but Iheyu stands still.

" Tell me; why are you alone? "

" I... I was abandoned by my people, and i started to travel to other tribes. They all told me, i'm a demon, because i'm different than the others, just look at me! "

The shaman stood tall, and looks at her people.

" My dear people! Would we accept this abandoned na'vi? Eywa has thought us a lesson, to never abandon others, but to take care of each other! Then, i'll ask you the same question again; would we accept this abandoned na'vi? "

The other navis fussed and whispers can be heard in the air. Some people feel pity for Iheyu, and agrees to accept him in the tribe. But some people, still think Iheyu as a demon, and they deny his existence. After a long process of debating, finally, the shaman announced his decision.

" People of the Kilvan tribe! From all the questions we all made, have, Eywa has given me an answer. She told us to accept this na'vi as one of us! Now, let us hear a cheer for a new people in our community, Iheyu! "

Hooves thundered down the ground, and it rumbled. Iheyu felt overjoy with his happiness. The navis of the Kilvan tribe gathered around Iheyu, and sat down their hooves hard on the ground. Finally, Iheyu is accepted in a tribe that he could live in.

Finally, he could felt joy once more. This, is his place in the people, this is his home.

Days and days went by, he was getting used to his life in the Kilvan tribe. But one night a na'vi spoke to him;

" Go away, you demon. Don't ever come back. Or you'll suffer the pain. Don't you know, Eywa has rejected you. She rejected you. Therefore, you're suppose to suffer pain in this world; no joy.... "

Iheyu looked around him. But no one was there. He was confused; would he leave? Or stay? He thought the tribe has already accepted him as one of them, but apparently, not. Finally, Iheyu made a decision : he will leave the village. Iheyu drank as much water as he can, and ate as much as he can. Then, he walks out of the tribe.

" I can forget you all for your kindness, thank you. "

, Iheyu thanked them in his heart. Then, he starts to walk with the moon shining, guiding his path. He stops by in a small plains, and ate some food. He hopes that he could find someone like him, someone, somewhere, somehow. After eating some food, he rest for the night. In the morning, he continued his journey. These things go on days by days, and finally, Iheyu came over into a dessert, and starves.

" Eywa, is it time for me to go yet? "

, Iheyu asks in his heart. He closes his eyes. He woke up, about a few hours later. But when he woke up, he's accompanied by another na'vi; a normal na'vi, a male. Iheyu was suprised; there's someone who would help him! The stranger know he's shocked, and he turns back and spoke to him.

" I see you've woke up. "
" Yes. But, who are you, and why are you here? "
" I'm Kxam. I don't get accepted into tribes either. I was just walking to discover another tribe i could try living with, but instead, i found you, starving to death. So i fed you some food i brought, and some water. "
" Why are you rejected? Why do you help me? Why? "
" Calm down my friend, why ask so many questions? Well, let me answer all of that. I was rejected, because my father was accused of murdering one of the people. My father left me alone, and i was rejected also from the people, because i'm the son of my father. And from that day on, i started to walk around the world, searching for a tribe i could live in. "
" Why would you help me? "
" I knew you might have been rejected from some tribes, and so am i. "
" So, i guess we're the same. "

They both have a fun time, they both shared their stories. They both laughed, cried, and angered. They both experienced the same thing. After that, Iheyu travelled around to search of a tribe, with his new friend, the one that he could live with.

There was a gentle snort as the eyes of the night one awoke, just like most. His pupils shone a gentle gold just like most as he surveyed his surroundings. A grunt and a tired sigh escaped his nostrils as he rose himself from the ground. He shook off his pelt as if in attempt to shake off sleep just like most. To get him thinking, the stallion stepped lightly forward and bent down starting to graze. Just like most when they awoke, he was hungry and in need of nourishment. His mind began to travel however as if wondering how he got here again...

Lormokri [beautiful voice] was singing again. His ears flicked as he trotted through the brush toward the sound. He made sure to stay for away however in fear of her clan and her father, the olo´eyktan [clan leader]. There were stories of how fierce and protective he was of his family and clan. But oh, how she was divine even then. Lormokri was graceful, humble, and ever so gentle. And yet her voice...so potent even a thanator and an ikran would never dare attack her. He drank in her sound every night that she sang. It's what lead him here in the first place. The male had been hanging out in this area and making sure to keep his tracks limited. He was afraid that once found he would be chased away. He took in a breath each time she moved and at one point he swore that she was staring at him. Not wanting to risk anything, he quickly disappeared back into the forest. Each night it was like that as he watched her sing and followed her as she moved through the forest. She seemed so happy sometimes...and yet unhappy when alone. He was confused. She had everything she could ever imagine and want...why was she unhappy?

One day the night one got careless and came out in her sight. Their eyes met for the first time and it was as if Eywa was with them. Something clicked it seemed and instead of running in fear she came forward. The two spoke until the light turned into darkness and even then she was reluctant to go. She was learning so much about him and he her. Strangely she wanted to know more about him and why he was nameless. Each time he changed the subject and each time she waited patiently for him to trust her. She often tried to convince him to follow her back to the clan, but again he refused. Too many had already rejected him. Too many had said he was feaungia [bad omen]. But she was as patient as she was persistent. To ease his mind, she would often sing to him and teach him the beauties of Eywa's world and creations - including him. She said there was a purpose to him, and that if he would only look to Eywa, he would find it. There was nowhere else he'd rather be but with her. And each time she left, he felt a part of him go as well.
One eve when she asked again, he was surprised that he agreed. He realized that he couldn't be without her.

The night one felt all eyes fall upon him as he entered the clan lands with her. Her fellows stopped what they were doing and quickly stared as he came by. His eyes were focused on her home however even as his ears flicked to catch what they were saying. "Vrrtep" [demon] one growled and spit over his shoulder. Ketengvitra [different soul] another snorted in fear keeping her offspring back. The stallion shut his eyes tightly wanting to run and be rid of this. And yet, he felt the reassuring touches of Lormokri and her gentle singing. Her songs pierced his heart and gave him a fiery courage. It was then that his eyes finally met with him - the olo´eyktan. The stories did him no justice as the male stood much taller than him. His eyes were fierce and his body looked as if it had been through too much for him to be able to stand. And yet there he was a proud and powerful warrior. The night one greeted him formally as Lormokri had taught him to do. They had a heated discussion that left the people speechless. No stranger had ever come into their home and assumed equal footing with their leader. Of course, the night one had no name in this place and no name at all to claim to. When the chief asked, it was his daughter who answered. "Poan syaw Txon'aw [He is called Txon'aw]." She yelled standing next to him. The people became enraged that this outsider had poisoned their beloved Lormokri's mind. The chief's eyes turned in color as the anger dripped from him. His mouth opened as he spat venom at the outsider stretching his hands up and open widening their span. Txon'aw was banished from their lands as the people began to swarm him.

The night one had never run so fast in his life. His body hurt and burned as bruises and cuts formed and swelled. Lormokri was so sure! He believed in her as she promised him some sort of acceptance. Why did he believe her? He fought back tears as he angrily tore through the brush leaving a path. The stallion collapsed in a tired heap closing his eyes. They only snapped open to see the graceful form of Lormokri. She had come to him again that night. At first he was angry and full of confusion. But that all came tumbling down as he buried his head into her neck and she embraced him as he cried. he let everything out as she sang a gentle song. He stared her in the eyes showing that he was tired of everything. The night one urged her to go with him, but she refused. Lormokri's place was here with her family and people. She left him with a final song and a promise that he would find what he was looking for and they would be back together if he promised her never to give up. She told him to come back for her the day he found it.

The stallion was more awake now as he remembered his love. She was waiting for him. He snorted feeling the blood boil in his body. He would not let her down. He would go out and form his own clan of strong people. He would go back and find her, take her by his side where her proper place was. They would form a family and be one of the greatest clans in all the land. They would be fierce and loyal to those that they called friends, but wrathful and malice to those they called enemies. The stallion then took in his name, Txon'aw - the Night One - and embraced it fully. She gave him that name for a reason and he would make her proud of it. With a renewed vigor, Txon'aw turned and sped through the brush feeling the presence of Eywa all around him. He would go out and ensure that he would get his Lormokri, his yawne [beloved] back. And they would never be separated ever again.

Txon'aw would make his own home.

The pain rushed through him once again. Why? he wondered. Why must it be me? The odd pelted stallion walked through the earths again - alone. Troubled. Wanting to find a home where he would belong. s**t... Another night sky! he thought panicking.

He remembered that one night. The night it all began. "You are to travel far through the lands and find yourself a tribe where you shall be a member of." his father, the shaman of his former tribe spoke. This was a natural process of showing superiority in the tribes - to leave their homeland to become part of another. This was a way to spread bloodlines and family ties.

"Why do I have to do this?" the stallion grumbled breaking out of his memory. He remembered every tribe he traveled into - all twenty-two of them. None offered him a place in the tribe. "Maybe I should..." the thought of just being a loner for good settled in his mind. He was feeling not just pain now, but hatred too. Especially his father. "He never cared for me." He muttered. "Just wanted to get rid of me the easiest way he could."

He watched as the night sky faded into a pale morning sky. His journey was about to end. If he didn't find a tribe in time, he would be an outcast to all of his kind forever, till he died.

Approaching a nearby pool, the lonely stallion decided to take a drink of water. As he was about to though, he learned why he was rejected from all. He had a black pelt. All the others had a shade of blue. He was shocked for this was the first time he'd ever seen himself.

"Father... why haven't you ever told me? he thought looking at where the moon was a few hours ago. He now knew his fate. He would be known as the Dream Walker (uniltìrantok).
