Faleen was usually found down in the Tech department, and it would be more then safe to assume that if anyone needed to find the blond haired Agent, all you needed to do was step into the robotics lab. This was true, even if she was off duty, or had the day off. This wasn't just a job to her after all.
With her partner out of commission, much of the training she hoped to bring up with him would have to be put on hold. Izaya wasn't in any fit condition to be trying to get control of his Pokemon anytime soon. Knowing that before the day was out she would be making her usual visits to fellow Rockets, like Nyx, and Izaya and others that she had been on the mission on. But right now, Faleen was sitting at her work station, while other rockets in the department continued their own work, constructing, and designing, while doing last diagnostics on a personal project her and Hayes had been working on for a while now.
A gloved hand moved to the side, gently setting one of the small tools onto its surface, having finished with the last tweaking she needed on the inside of the device she was working on. With this she cupped her hands together, closing what looked like a pokeball, only this ball wasn't painted, still raw metal, and it had three buttons over the top.
"Porygon," Faleen said, reaching her hand out and placing the ball onto a pad, that glowed. "Complete the next series of scans,"
"[Confirmed]" A broken, electronic and emotionless voice responded. and the platform the ball was on began to glow.
Leaning back in her chair with a soft smile as she watched its progress, arms folding over her chest. It had been a long time, Her and Hayes had been sure it was complete for a few weeks now, but chose to take it slow, and really make sure it was ready for its first testing. Just a few more hardware checks, and with that complete, The R-ball project could be moved to its next phase.

As Faleen reclined in her chair to watch the latest round of scan results the typical busy hum of the robotics lab was broken suddenly by a hollow metallic thud from the ceiling. A few of the working Rockets paused and looked up. The sound lasted less than a second, then stopped. Everything appeared normal. Moments passed before the large square vent fixed to the side of a wide metal duct stretched across the ceiling clanged open and a person fell out.
Lore's exit from the duct hadn't been terribly graceful, be he managed to right himself somewhere between the ceiling and the floor, where he thudded in a crouch. Some dust fell after him, drifting down like snowfall. Lore remained in his crouched position, less than a foot from a long row of computers he'd been lucky to miss. His eyes passed over the various Rockets in the room, all staring at him. "Well.. as I thought, nobody's dusted up there for years... it's a good thing I checked."
"Whimsi!"
"Cott!"
Espresso and Cappuccino tumbled from the open vent and landed just behind him.

Loud noises were not unusual for this department, they worked with lots of metal after all, and heavy tools. But the sounds were usually easily identified, This clash of metal was unfitting.
It drew Faleen's attention, along with the other Rockets, blinking a few times as her brow furrowed. "What-" she started to say to one of the other Rockets in the room, before to everyone surprise a person fell from the high vent in the room.
That, was highly unexpected.
The first thing to go through Faleen's mind was a security risk, and she was quick to right herself onto her feet, along with her was her Umbreon, pushing himself out from under the side of her work station and pouncing to stand next to her.
No further motion was really needed though, as the stunned and awkward silence lingered for a few second after the two Whimsicott tumbled out after him. It didn't take long to recognize that he was an Executive, let alone a fa one.
Faleen stares in surprise, not exactly sure how to respond to a Rocket of high rank that just came dropping in from the room's vent. She sufficed with a glance up at the vent, then back over to the Executive. "Lore?...Sir, wh-" It was surprised to see this Executive again, It was certain no one was about to forget what happened the last time she had encountered the Executive, it had ended rather surprisingly with the arival of the Rocket's Boss in one of those legendary and very brief appearances, prompting the social conversation to end quite abruptly.
"Are... you alright Sir?" She asked, a little uncertainly, seeming like it was a stupid question to ask, but she couldn't help another glance up at the vent, honestly surprised he had landed on his feet from up there. "...Dust?" She spoke more quietly, somehow she didn't exactly believe he was really up there... checking for dust.

"Oh I'm fine." Lore straightened his legs and stood up. At Faleen's question he nodded, "Mmhmm dust. Nothing but dust up there. Dust and eevee prints." He shrugged, running his fingers back through his hair. "So, what's goin' on in here?" His tone was casual and conversational. Definitely not fitting a person who'd just fallen from the ceiling.

"I see... Glad to hear that Sir." She said, still a little uncertain as to how to address this situation, that he seemed to be inclined to dismiss as if it didn't happen. Umbreon slicked his ears back, lowering his head a little before tilting his head to the side with a quiet glance up to Faleen.
With a quiet arch of her eyebrows, she lifted a hand to gesture toward part of the room that was busiest... or should be if they were not distracted by the man who had fallen from the ceiling . "Mostly upgrades for the desert sentries." She answered his question. offereing a crooked grin, but straightened her posture, as she usually did about respected, or higher rank. "I guess I should welcome you to the robotics lab. We didn't expect any high ranking to drop in today." Literally.

Faleen's pun earned a good-natured laugh from the Executive and he stepped around the row of computers to approach her, dusting off his shoulders. The two Whimsicotts followed after him, curiously glancing around.
"No need for the sir business. This isn't an official visit, no formalities. I didn't even bring a notebook. Wouldn't turn down a for-entertainment-only look around, though!"

"Ah, right, I remember. Just Lore then." the Agent replied recalling he had requested that during their meeting at the cafeteria. She didn't lose her posture though, not that she carried herself much differently.
Hazel eyes watched as he approached, explaining that this was not official, "Of course your more then welcome to have a look around." He obviously had high enough security clearance. "We've got some pretty cool things developing down here." At least, she thought so anyway.
Bit of an odd was to enter a room, she had to wonder if maybe he wasn't supposed to be here either. Tilting her head lightly, and folding her arms behind her back she took a step to the side.

"Oh yeah? Well pretty cool things are my favorite kinds of things." He cast his eyes around the room, taking in all the techy goodness. "So this is where all the toys come from, huh? The dexes and stuff?"

"Partly, yes." she replied with a nod "This is where the hardware is built anyway, as well as upgrades, we're always keeping up with improvements. There is another department in Tech where the programers work, they are our partners whenever we develop new tech or robots that requires software."
She walked slightly behind him as he looked around, since she was answering his question. "As well as development and construction, we keep up with repairs and upgrades here. All of HQ's desert defenses are our responsibility. We also help with research on outside tech we can get our hands on."

"Wow. You take requests? I wouldn't turn down a remote control mini-mech." He smirked back at Faleen.

Faleen gave a soft chuckle when at the request, "That's an easy one. if your talking doll size." She glanced back around the room, most of the other engineers were returning back to their work, and the usually sounds of construction was filling the room again.
"There is actually a project in the the work for approval on remotely control spy bots" she held a hand up, holding her forefinger and thumb apart to show the average size of the robot that it would be. "Tiny little things." She seemed particularly excited about this idea, if the proud smile on her face said anything about how she was feeling, or the slight exceeded flush of color in her cheeks.

Lore's eyebrows crept upward, "Wow really?" He considered this a moment then smirked again, "You consider spying on any co-workers with it?"
Before Faleen could answer a loud clank sounded several feet away. Cappuccino was standing on Espresso's head in an effort to reach some shiny gadget on a high desk. Before reaching it the pair had knocked over a metal rod that was leaning against the desk.

She had managed to open her mouth to answer his question, She couldn't be too surprised by it, a lot of people would take the use a little robot like that and use it in ways that were not exactly for the kind of spying they should be used for.
Head turning sharply to find the source of the clang, Faleen paused, blinking over at the two grass types attempting to reach one of the projects that was left out. Instantly Faleen felt a nervous shiver run up her spine, "Ah, some items in here are in quite the delicate stage." She said, not daring to go telling their guests what to do. but in case they didn't know this already...

"Oh.. c'mon you two knock it off."
The pair of 'cotts turned to look at Lore and frowned.
"They've got a thing for shiny stuff. You got a really glossy wrench they could play with?"

She smiled a little awkwardly, shiny stuff, well this place was certainly in no short supply of shiny things.
Faleen let out a little air from her lungs when the executive called him pokemon off a little, they didn't seem to pleased about it though. "I'm sure I have something they would be interested in." She replied with a nod, taking the lead as she stepped back over to her work station, where she kept most of her tools. She just so happen to have a new set, barely used. "Here." she said, lifting up the kit and opening it to show a selection of high quality and still shiny tools.
"[Unauthorized!]" the mechanical voice said with increasing volume when the two pokemon came over.
