Yitian and Yejian kep jumping overeach other while trying to keep up with there new friend. "We didnt want you to go your so awesome." Yitian said bouncing up and down.
"There 4 of us and mommy~" He said in between breaths while trying to catch Korans wagging tail. "Hey Koran, why does mommy hate you?" He never saw his mommy be so angry, and if she knew him why, did he do something bad?
"Four? Wow. So you two and two more. Then mum. A.. elk- maybe a Zubu.." He started considering where they were and what prey animals he could even manage to catch with. Then he was questioned with a question he too was asking himself. "We've met before. Your mother and I." Nodding his head. "We were young.. but I'm not sure what I have done to upset her. You two saw it too then?" Shaking his head. "I dunno- but I intend to pay her back." Lifting his head to watch over the plains. Eyeing them.. Wanting to know what there was left of this place. "Zebra~" He cuued as he watched a heard. "It'd be big enough.. "
Then he sprung a few more yards til they got slightly closer. "Alrighty.. So zebra? Like those guys?" He lowered their heads when they got close enough to be spotted. "What do you think?"
The twins nodded, "Thats what mommy usually get us" Yejian said in a soft wispear also lowering his head mimicking the cheetah; even though there was no need. Koran was the same hight as them when he lowered himself.
"I like zebra." He got to see how a male hunts he was so excited and scared. Whenever mommy had to take them hunting she always made them watch from on in a tree a little bit aways. She 'didnt want them hurt'. "How you gonna pay her back she is reeeeally mad at you~~~" He carried on mimcking his brother and koran by lowering his head.
"Well that's good- don't wanna change your diet too much then." He jump rolled above one of the cubs and settled so they were to his sides. "Well- she would like zebra for you all.. and feed herself as well. I can manage a plump one." Slowly itching closer. "You both know how to catch small things right?" Looking to them in question.
"Uhhhh mommy doesnt like us to go hunting with her, she said its dangerous." He sighed he hoped the he would stick them in a tree. He was excited to finally particiapte in a hunt.
"But we've seen mommy do it a lot. Were like experct watchers." He said with a hopful tone, he wanted koran to teach them because he knew mommy never would. Everything was always to dangerous, "Ya~ everything is 'dangerous' and no one can be trusted, Thats what she always says." He sighed, he wondered why mom was so over protective it was so annoying
He lifted his head surprised but instantly pulled it back down. Damnit, looking over to see if they were spotted and they thankfully weren't. "Alright." He laid his stomach down to make use of his paws. "Likely- when scared they scatter- I want then you two to go after ONE. Pick ONE." Sighing a little as he thought of them picking one each and made his head shake. "One for both. I'll get a big one.. so I'll let you stir them up and I'll be behind you the whole way..Got it? Wait nevermind. We'll just all go for one? A big one. How about that."
"But why cant we get our own? We wanna hun too~~" The twins could catch a small one... maybe, but they wouldnt learn if they didnt try.He peeked his head up quickly to see if there were any small ones and luckily there was. "Please Koran you have to let us try... We can catch a baby one."
"Ya we can impress mommy and show her that you showed us how to hunt." Both of the cubs looked up at him with big eyes. Yejian didnt know when they next time his mom would let him go without her so this might be there only chance. "We wont mess up... well do our best." He begged and pleaded.
"But you haven't hunt yet- a guide can-" Faced with the difficult decision.. Now he knew what she felt like. Ming.. how she couldn't turn down those big eyes.."Well.. Fine. A baby one.. And don't go after two different ones! One for both- you gotta corner it and get it from both sides.." He knew this wasn't a good idea- but he'd behind them the whole time! What trouble could they get in to? Not on his watch- these kids were his friend's. Especially Ming- he'd never let her down. "Alright. Just one..We'll get close and when I say go- you'll go after it.. Don't get mad if it escapes.. theres always next time ok?" Putting a paw down between them. "Ready?"
Yejian nodded and lurked through the brush ready for action he was so excited to be hunting fr the first time. He couldnt wait to tell mommy that koran taught them how to hunt. He looked back to see his brother literally right on his tail, he kept his body low and crept closer to the prey. He had to wait for Korans cue so he slowly laid on the ground and waited.
Yitian follwed his brother, he was so nervous what if he messed up. Yejian would blame him of course but Koran said its okay if we dont get it. The tan cheetah wanted to impress mommy and koran and his brother, so he was going to try his hardest. He saw his brother stop and walked right next to him and layed down waitng for the okay from the big guy. He couldnt wai to see if they were going to get it.
The twins looked at each other and nodded, all they had to say was three words. Toget the both looked at Koran and said "Lets do this."
His shoulders rolled together as he waited for the perfect time, and even crawl a few closer til the herd was semi scattered.. "GO!" He yelled and with that he shot up and distracted the elder zebra- even went toe to toe with the mother of the young one that he had singled out for them. Growling and striking the elder zebra. It was hard to see within the stripes but unlike lions, he knew where they were for the most part. Throwing himself in front of it and clentching his powerful maw around the snout and shaking his head side to side vioently. Keeping an eye for the little ones, and where they were. How they faired and if they needed his help- he would surely throw himself off this one to help.
