 Kore returned to the lonely tree that stood so bare in the snow blanketed Earth. The only memories that seemed to hang from it's branches like ornaments were those of Hyrdo. Their meetings would take place here, and Kore could recall what warmth it would bring him, despite his cold interior and the touches he gave the girl probably only felt like dead ice on her pelt. He fixated his solid blue eyes on the bark, staring with sad and longing eyes for that feeling to come back. Unfortunately for him though Mistress loathed the romantic wonderment and uncovered herself from the back of his twisted mind.
"You miss that thing you used to call a love? For shame, Kore. You know you can never have her again. You've done your damage and now she can be through with you. You're nothing but a plague, ripping everything apart no matter how hard you try not to," she gave a dark and bellowing chuckle deep within his thoughts. The stallion never cried. It was thought to be impossible due to his dry ice like orbs. Yet, for the first time that he could recall his eyes dampened and cold tears stung his cheeks. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" he grumbled and headbutted his cranium against the tree, making snow fall from the thin branches and pelt him mercilessly. Though it seemed like he didn't even care.

The cream colored mare had been suffering with heart ache ever since it happened. Her mind was dark and her soul was slipping away from reality. She felt lost. Completely lost with her life and didn't know if she could pick herself up this time. Though deep down something inside of her wanted closer from the incident. She really wanted this feeling inside her to end. The hate she felt for Kore and the hurt she couldn't seem to shake off. She had already spent nights crying and wondering why this happened. Why he did this to her? But in the end all she could muster was that she did this to herself. She was the one that wasn't careful and fell too easily. Though she knew now not to give yourself so easily, but that was if she ever fell in love again.
Something inside her was twisting and she didn't even care anymore. Something inside her was festering and it was becoming hard to control.
Was it rage?
Was it pain?
Just what was it?
She didn't know and she wasn't in the state of mind to find out really. Now she was wandering aimlessly without what felt like a soul or heart anymore. Her head lowered slightly with her dark blue hair hiding her face from the world. The shame she felt and the heart ache just was unbearable. As she trampled through the snow, she head someone close by. This only cause her to shift slightly so that one eye peeked out of her mane. One soul less eye that gazed around the surroundings until it locked on what was making such a noise.
Kore...?
She stopped moving and she lowered her head even more. Her knees felt like they were going to buckle and she was going to fall over. She couldn't handle this right now. She felt different emotions seeping through her. More bad then good and it was scaring her a little bit. She felt her knees stop shaking before digging a hoof into the snow.
"...Kore......"
She muttered in a low tone with one eye fixated on the stallion ahead of her.

His head was burning up, contrasting with the brutal cold atmosphere of this winder wonderland. All he wanted was to forget about her and what he had done. He should have known better than to reach out to somebody. Especially somebody who he cared about. For the rest of his days he would never put anybody in harms away again and if this meant isolation than so be it.
Though, before he could hide himself from the innocence of the world he had to do one thing. He had to make Hydro see that this was never his intentions. If he was going to part ways for good he didn't want her thinking this was all part of some scheme to injure her already broken heart.
As if it peeled itself loose from the wind Kore heard the wisp of a familiar voice. He thought at first it was all in his mind and rested his forehead against the unforgiving bark of the tree. "Please, make it stop... I can't take this any longer..." he pined for the feeling of feeling safe and sound again. He wanted to turn back time and pretend like he wasn't the monster who shattered such a fragile little mare. That seemed impossible now, though.
Suddenly, there was the sound of crunching snow as Hydro's weight allowed some snow to give and the beast's large bat like ears perked up in alertness. He swiveled around as quick as lightening and peered at an angel.
".... Hydro..."
It seemed his prayers were answered but he couldn't help but feel nervous. His eyes flickered about as if looking for others but Mistress was nowhere in sight and hopefully gone for the time being. "Y-you... you still come to this spot?" he asked in a shaky voice as he nodded his head towards the lonely tree. It held so much meaning to him and just the idea that she still came around warmed his icy heart the tiniest bit.

The blue haired mare heard the familiar voice causing her to turn towards the stallion with one blue eye narrowing slowly through the strands of hair that covered her face. She wasn't healthy and this was the last person she wanted to see right now. She didn't ever want to see him again or anyone else that hurt her. It only brought the realization back that she was some terrible monster and they used her as a play toy. She sure knew how to pick them right? What irritated her more was that he was going to attempt to have a conversation with her. It made her sick and honestly she was one step from charging at him and sticking her horn in him as hard as she could not even caring if it broke off. She was ugly already why not make her even uglier?
She didn't know what to say to him. Words were rushing through her head and she couldn't even voice one of them. Why did she come to this spot? Was it because she wanted her pain to end or was it because she still loved him? Either way she hated herself for it. She hated herself more then ever for falling so easily for others. But not no more. She wasn't going to let anyone walk all over her and wasn't going to let Kore go without getting her answer. She needed to know why. She needed that much and it was her right to have it.
"Why?"
It was the only thing that she could voice in a dry dead tone. There was no more happiness within her. No more smiles and no more tears left that she could let go. Now it was all anger and hate. Hate for someone she trusted and anger towards herself for being so naive.
