After her Groanspring conversation with Levi, Lizzy had taken a nap, intending to rest up as much as possible before their little "date"' as much as she disliked using violence to solve things, it seemed to have become quite an important part of her schooling... After all, every field trip she had been on required her to take up arms, and they seemed to be increasing in both difficulty and danger.
What was Christmas Town compared to hunters and their FEAR-draining weapons?
As the appointed time drew near, she dragged herself into the shower to wake herself up before putting on some comfortable sneakers, a tube top, and a pair of hot shorts; while she wasn't used to such a get up, she figured that it was the best thing to wear for a spar; wouldn't want to accidentally flash anyone, after all! That would just be plain embarrassing and possibly indecent.
Grabbing a duffer bag, she stuffed a towel and a bottle of water into it before setting off for the gym, waiting outside anxiously once she was there.

Was there concern for fighting Lizzy? Not really. Levi always tried to keep to her single most important code when fighting an opponent: never underestimate them. She was indeed a ghoul the tatzel considered petite but that didn't stop her from sparring with Xiu.
Danger could still come in those small packages.
After the events that had been taking place around the school, Levi's fighting spirit only grew more wild, wanting to get back at the foes that dared invade her home away from home. The more action she saw, the better; perhaps Lizzy felt the same way with this sudden request?
As usual when she planned to make her way over to the gym, she threw a towel over her shoulder. Her glistening white hair swayed in two perfectly tied pigtails, bobbing by her shoulders. A white tank top and worn-out light blue jorts were her dress along with flip flops. She was ready.
Making her way over to the inside gym, she immediately was able to spot the demoness just outside; her hair was very pink today.
Aye, Lizzy! So- ya ready?

She couldn't resist smiling as Levi approached, enveloping the ghoul is a brief hug before letting go. She had missed the ghoul during that ambush, so it was good to actually see her in the flesh - alive, well, in one piece, and as ready for a good fight as ever... She looked sheepish at the question, and then nervous, and then sheepish again as she nodded, "I am... Well, a little nervous, but this is my first real sparring session!"
She was almost afraid that she would disappoint Levi... That would make her feel terrible, since she asked her all the way down here just to spar with her.
"Let's go in...?" She managed a small smile before tugging on the strap of her bag, entering the gym; it wasn't that long ago that this place was a temporary hospital... And then the place where the mysterious red cloaked person was standing - which ended up being an ambush that had been set for them... Honestly, she was worried about how the hunters seemed to be able to just come and go.
Leading Levi in, she setting on an area before setting her things down to a side... And then proceeded to stand there, looking rather awkward.

Lizzy had always been a hugger, and Levi could almost feel herself comforted when the petite ghoul offered her hugs. Levi's tail searched at the side of them when they hugged, trying to grasp a tail which was nowhere to be found. Lizzy had become like kin to her as the baku and hound had. However, she couldn't wrap around Lizzy like she did Demi without the worry that she might squish the ghoul. It perhaps was best to just sticking to hugs; her tail simply flickered at one of Lizzy's feet. The tatzel smiled when she learned this was Lizzy's first spar. She'd already had the pleasure of teaching a few sneaking moves to her along with Junko and Xiu but- first spar! That's great, Lizzy! Good ta see ya lookin' ta' rough it up 'a bit! Ya know, don't matter none 'bout if yer inta' fightin', really. Just shows ya got guts ta git in tha' first place ta' wanna git in thar. Certainly Lizzy wasn't one to regularly fight, but Levi would appreciate the recognition of the importance of fighting. +1 to respect for Lizzy. Nodding in agreement, the tatzel followed Lizzy inside, promptly flinging her towel to the sidelines. She stood in the open gym center, smiling at the demoness. S'okay. We're doin' this ta show we can, eh?Ghouls. Petite or not. They could do it. (( roll out~ ))

"I just think that it is important to know how to defend myself first, before I can even try to help anyone," She nodded at Levi's words, taking them into consideration; hopefully Levi wouldn't mind coaching her as they went along, since she was so new at this, "Very true!"

After standing there for a while, looking extremely awkward, Lizzy decided that perhaps, Levi was waiting for her to make the first move. She paused, thinking about everything that had made her rather annoyed, frustrated and plain heartbroken over the past week - Mac words that led to their painful breakup, the fact that Mac had shown up with a pretty ghoul on his arm barely days after said breakup, the horrible ambush which left all of them in nets and barely conscious, the way they had taunted them-
Riley... Jericho...
Her breakup with Mac seemed so trivial, so small a matter compared to what Jericho must had gone through, seeing Riley lie there, motionless... If it had been Amrita lying there instead, she was sure that she would have been broken and devastated.
That sort of heartbreak was a lot worse than what Mac could ever, ever give her; sure, he made her confused with his mixed messages, but he had left without a word. He had left with that pretty ghoul... She understood that he had to send her back, but she was hugging him and holding him and her face was red and- Ugh.
It might be the built up of frustration, but she made sure that Levi was paying attention before starting their session, throwing a (rather flaily) punch at the ghoul.

Levi took the hit to the gut and recoiled slightly. Letting out an OOF of air, she stood up straight again with a smile perking her lips. The tatzel rubbed a hand at the point were Lizzy's flail punch had hit her and really looked at the ghoul. She tail swayed while she thought and immediately stopped when she'd come to a conclusion: something else was bothering Lizzy. She didn't know what but- something.
Leave it to a battle to have Levi finally spot emotional troubles. If Lizzy really did have reasons to let out physical hits to relieve some stress, well, Levi would be sure to try and help her out. She'd give the hits just as well as take them; gladly when it was an even fight such as this. Nice one, Lizzy! Lemme see it again!

Lizzy considered herself to be lucky enough to have made a lot of friends since her enrollment in Amity; not all of them had the same thought process as her, however, which made it difficult to find someone to talk to when she was facing a ghouly problem... They might sympathize but nobody would be able to empathize. The only one she could possibly go to - and would probably understand how she felt - was Junko, but right now?
The whole running and punching thing was working out.
"Levi." She pulled her arm away before delivering another punch, this one slightly more confident than the first; of course, it helped to know that her lame, flaily punches were probably not hurting the tough ghoul much, "Mac broke up with me recently." That much she was willing to admit at least, "But with the hunters and all... Being upset of something like that seem so selfish."

OH. Lizzy... had a mate. It was terminology she was familiar with only after hearing it used in the hallways of the school. Lizzy had a mate who decided to break ties with her. She had the strangest urge to ask if they'd been completely mated or if they were only arranged to be so but- from what she saw ...
... usually ghouls looked pretty dismayed by this sort of thing. To lose a prospective mate was something the tatzel had no knowledge of how to overcome. However, it was common practice to drive away frustrations through some good old roughing. This would be her way of consoling.
Eh... well, it's best ta git it all out, right? Don't go holding' back, Lizzy. Git'it all out! If that boil did somethin' ta'make ya mad, I say GIVE 'IM HECK! She crinkled her nose in a snarl and braced for another hit from Lizzy.

She paused at Levi's advice; all along, she had been the rather passive one. She actually liked it whenever Mac was beind dominant, oddly enough... To give him heck... Would that be like reversing their roles? Sure, they were no longer together, but she was hoping that they would be friends. Kind of hoping, anyway; she wasn't sure how she would react if he really found someone else to be with while she still had feelings for him.
"How can I do that...?" She looked interested in finding out how to solve boil problems the Levi way, although she also looked hesitant at the idea of being rough with Mac. This seemed evident as she threw a third punch at her friend, barely grazing her as she frowned, "I'm not sure Mac is much of a fighter..."

Oh? Never seen'im fight? Git rough? Levi knew only certain aspects of boils; the notion of romance was still foreign but...
she blocked at Lizzy's hit with her forearms crossed, trying to limit the blow.
Boils usually like ta 'rough it up. Some 'er more gentlemanly but- Her tail coiled in thought. dunno- 'find most 'a 'em like ta' go hand-ta-hand when there's'a problem, ya know? I do the same. Don't see why ya can't give 'it a go with ...Mac. The name rang a bell, but she couldn't put a face to it.

"I did see him fight once, but that's a long time ago," She nodded, thinking back to their experiences with the hunters - whom they had thought were 'reapers' at the time... How things had changed since then, in more ways than just one, "I don't think I had seen him get physical since then..."
She thought about the way he had yelled and threatened the hunters after one of them - Reine - had punched her in the face, calling them to leave 'his ghoul' alone... And something fluttered in her chest, only to quickly be squished when she thought about how he did not acknowledge her as his ghoulfriend, and the way he had left with that pretty non-demon ghoul rather than talk to her.
"So... You think I should confront Mac?" She asked, looking unsure as she kicked at Levi, almost losing her balance since her concentration was not all there, "Ask him for battle? What if he refuses? Should I... Drag him down anyway?"

Again, the tatzel used her forearms to try and block. Lizzy sure had more power in her than she led on; after that last hit, this one was sure to make a bruise of things. But none the less, Levi concealed this knowledge for now, trying to help the petite ghoul out with her troubles at hand. Levi gave the demoness a tap to the forehead with one finger when she made an unsure face.
Okay, the boil had fought in front of her before. He had the potential to fight. Surely he'd learn something by fighting Lizzy. Well yea! I think fightin' 'im could help ya. If yer words ain't workin'... When talk failed, the tail fist was the next best tool for communication?
I'd say drag 'im, sure.

"Fight me seriously," She nodded, taking a few steps back as she inhaled deeply, as if she was trying to clear her thoughts; thinking about Mac made her feel really sad, and she couldn't help but wonder if it had anything to do with how sudden the break up was... Right now, she just wanted to get all that negative energy out of her system, "I can take it."
She was a knob. She can do this.
As if wanting to prove her point, she put her fingers together, concentrating her Fear on her fingertips as she pulled them apart, revealing thin spider thread, "Please." She wasn't a physical person, but throwing punches and dishing kicks were not the only ways to fight. The thread was used as a wire, used to cut skin and flesh; as much as she didn't want to hurt her friend, she knew that Levi would probably appreciate it if she took their spar seriously.
"I'll go... Talk to him again, and if that doesn't work, I'll fight him," She said softly, the ache in her chest returning, "I want him back as a friend, at least... I want to know his true feelings."

It was true that she'd taken to blocking rather than hitting Lizzy, but the ghoul was still taking Lizzy seriously as far as fighting went. Don't worry, I ain't goin' easy. Just as much'a an important thing ta block as it 'is ta hit, Lizzy. Levi also just wanted to hear her out more; it looked to be helping Lizzy with her attacks to talk it out.
Then the white-haired ghoul got taken in by strands of webbing. Wide eyes revealed the surprise the tatzel got when she'd realized that Lizzy had really caught her off guard with this one. Wriggling and only causing to make matters worse, her open skin burned at the points where the web tightened against her. She remembered the nets. The nets. She didn't want to be contained suddenly. Curling into the strands, shortening the distance between her and Lizzy again, the thick tendril of Levi's tail came up and coiled around Lizzy's forearms, gripping onto them. Tightening to keep her from moving.
True feelings? Whether or not he'd consider her a friend, Levi supposed. Mates appeared to be like good friends to her. In cases were her Ma and Pa had kissed in front of her, she noted that this was an act of two mates, but failed to register the why behind such an act. It was just something mates did. The emotional aspects of boilfriends and ghoulfriends was a grey area.
I'd reckon so. Or just challenge 'im right off 'tha bat. Why not? She strained to get the words out through clenched teeth given she was (oh how the tables have turned) being constricted against by the strands of web.
Her skin broke in just the slightest at points, revealing a hint of bloodied red lines.
