Training was all nice and dandy, it kept the heart rate up, and a figure in shape. however what it can't do is give viable fighting experience. It was either a friendly spar or a competitive match that sated the need to learn that skill more practically. That was the one thing that Leon still needed. Not for hand to hand combat, much to the dragon dismay Leon felt very confident in his grappling capabilities.
Fighting with a weapon, more specifically a chainsaw; was a different breed all in itself. For that, He needed more practice and experience. And Practicing the swings in a H2 golem body was one way to begin.
The boxer went for sets of 5 at 15 reps with each type of strike; Lunges, vertical slice, horizontal slice, diagonal and of course, a way to parry incoming blows. The training room was filled with the sound of machinery and the grunts and yells that followed each increase of speed from the chainsaw.
For now, sparring by himself would have to do, till someone else showed up.

For Ariane, training was... Swinging her awesome balls of steel around, and running laps around the gym; she might not be strong and would probably lose to most people in an arm wrestling match, but she prided herself on her stamina. It was just too bad that one of the only large bodies of water she knew about had flesh eating fish in it; she had no intention of having history repeat itself, especially not now that she was no longer in a mask-and-suit golem.
Humming to herself, she stopped outside the training room; honestly, the sounds from within sounded to her like the beginning of a bad horror movie, or a porno designed for people with certain fetishes. However, because she had seen and experienced so many things in her short time here as a trainee, Ariane was convinced that whatever was behind the door, would not surprise her.
She was right.
Standing at the doorway, she leaned against the frame, eyeing the man inside with a grin; he looked pretty buffed, like he was used to doing heavy training stuff... He would probably be a good sparring partner for her. Or maybe she could ask him for training tips. She kept quiet, waiting for him to notice her; whenever he finally looked her way, he would receive a two-fingered salute as greeting.

Swing, back to starting position, swing, back to starting position, dodge, counter swing. While the motions were indeed being followed through, the passion behind each strike was waning, bit by bit. Its was getting as tiresome as his arms felt. "Alright Nid. time for a break?"
Snack time? came the immediate reply as the weapon's power died down and the teeth began its steady decline in movement. All of a sudden, it was like being able to hear again, he was going to have to ask Dr. H for some earplugs before the next mission. Even half deafened ears heard the shuffling near the door that made the life hunter whirl around and spot the new arrival.
"Uh Hi, can I help you with anything, was I being too loud?" he asked in a jumble of words. It would have been expected to get a noise complaint with such a weapon. "I'm mighty sorry If I was interrupting your studying or peace of mind with this idiot of a weapon.
HEY. Not nice.

Time to try tuning out that annoying voice in her head.
"Nah, I was about to train and noise doesn't usually bother me... I just decided that watching you train seemed more interesting," She replied, her grin widening as she approached him, eyeing his weapon; as noisy as it was, she was kind of intrigued by how it worked. Could it actually saw those Halloween creatures in half? That would be pretty badass, actually, "You seem to know your stuff, judging from the way you were going at it."

"You flatter me kind soul." the boxer said with a chuckle and patted the handle of the weapon,, which was enough the have the dragon grumble in content. "No No, still learning how to wield him properly, these weapons are interesting and take practice to wield."
It was only then that Leon's clover eyes paid more attention on the girl that was grinning at him, she didn't have her own weapon out. "How bout you, what do you use?" he asked curiously to her, stepping back toward the wall in case she needed the space "Oh sorry, I'm Leon. forgot my manners again."
And yet he was still bumbling around with words as he gave the other hunter a calculated look.

"Mine is a lot less noisy," She laughed, tugging the necklace around her neck loose. There was a brief flash of light from the necklace, and Ariane's weapon revealed itself, thick heavy chains resting in her hand, steel balls on either side. She grinned, "Nice to meet you, Leon... The name's Ariane."
"Want to spar?" She asked, stroking her chin with a thoughtful look, "I think Kintama's bored and your weapon is pretty interesting... Might be beneficial to see how he-" She raised the hand holding onto the chains up, "Fares against a chainsaw."

-clunk clunk, look Leon, they're bigger than yours-
Indeed, Ariane had a mighty pair as a weapon. Leon just stared as Ariane let her mammoth sized globes swing freely to and fro. "Holy damn Ariane, I had no idea you were packing something so massive on ya." he said mockingly and gave one of them a gentle nudge with his boot and let the laws of physics act upon it.
It was clear this was not a girl to mess with, she was not afraid to use her weapon as a battering ram and use balls to crush balls. And the infirmary still didn't get a stock of protective cups in yet. "It's name is Kintama? well, if kintama is bored, I'm sure Nidhogg here will be glad to indulge in a scuttle." the boxer replied back quickly as the dragon began to chant in his head.

Well at least it wasn't a protest, it was a start with the dragon weapon. "Sparring sounds fine, let's go!"

"Heh, they are bigger than those on the boys on this island, I am sure... And don't worry, I'm not one to make any cheap shots," She grinned, quirking an eyebrow as she laughed, "Your manhood will be just fine~ If they experience any problems after this spar, they must be problems that existed before this spar."
She skipped a few steps backwards so that she was standing away from Leon, weapon at the ready, before her grin widened to show that she was ready.

Oh ho, the girl did know how to use her balls. "Hey. Your balls shoot blanks, don't forget that missy." He said back with a sly smile. and gave the chainsaw a rev of warning. " I'm sure my manhood will be just fine after this fight Ari, I'll try to make sure Nid here don't try to tear open your clothes too much." he taunted back with a gleam in his eyes before dropping into a low stance.

And just like that, he was on the move, with a scream in the air to match the violent roar of the hedge trimmer. Leon was going to make Arianne's clothing into ribbons.
And Began with a lunge at the female hunters side. "Think fast, move faster!"

Ariane never knew that Leon could be so kinky.
"Yes sir," She clenched her teeth together, hands gripping tightly onto the chain of her weapon, holding it taut between her hands as she used it to catch the blade of the chainsaw. The force of the man's attack, however, caused her to wince, feeling the chains dig into her palm, "You too."
She ducked, using one of the steel balls to hit Leon on the back of his knee before skipping backwards, eyes never leaving her opponent.

Well, at least the girl had some reflexes. Leon put some force into the strike as Ariane caught it on her chain deftly, sparks flew from the contact point in a searing blaze before he pulled Nid away. "My my, good on defense eh?" he managed to coo out just before the steel ball came around his leg and hit his thigh with a thud.
"Oww.... and good at sneaky offense. I like, i like!" even as the fight continued, all the practiced slashes and lunges came up with her parries, forever stuck with the chain just in front of her clothes. "You sure you're not a moon hunter or something girlie?"
If it wasn't for the fact that she had a pair bigger than his own, he wouldn't waste any time hitting on her, and not just literally too.

"You're not bad yourself," She said through clenched teeth, her lips twisted up in a grin; he was hitting hard, something she thought would be difficult given how heavy his weapon looked, but he was swinging it around like it was made of cloth... Unless he had gotten used to the weight like she had gotten used to Kintama, which was also highly likely, "Well, you know what they say - you have to learn to suit your faction... I'm no Moonie, I'm afraid."
Grunting, she pushed Leon away using the chains before swinging one side of the weapon to aim for his side, "Death hunter, through and through... Yourself?"

Ha! Leon knew there was a reason why he liked her. She wasn't afraid to go toe to toe with hm.. Big bonus points. "Man those poor moonies, no respect for them." he said sadly before the clunky balls knocked into his side, barely dodging most of the blow that promised to crush his ribcage into fragments. It still hurt like hell as the boxer began to rub at the sore, tender area and wincing at the weapons bearer. "Damn, your balls are scary."That weapon could not be legal. nor should his be either. "Your polar opposite Ari. I'm of the life faction." he said as a matter of factly before charging back in for another slash at her chest. "Life, death, man, woman, a weapon that crushes and another that carves." he said after dashing away after the strike and grinning at his worthy adversary. "We are ying and yang in a way huh?"HP: 33/40 Dmg: 5

"A life hunter with a chainsaw?" She laughed, although that was cut short when Leon charged at her; she barely managed to parry that particular attack with the chain of her weapon, wincing in pain when her wrist was forced backwards, hissing out a swear under her breath as she tried to push him back, "That is almost like something right out of a horror movie."
The rest of his sentence earned a smirk from her as she raised an eyebrow, "Quite the poet, are we? I don't see death and life as opposites, but as two things that go together... Can't have one without the other."
