I was listening to the Hawk and Tom on the radio a while back and they gave a segment on how to go about cleansing your private areas (I wonder how many people heard it?). I believe Tom said that he uses condition on his manhood to keep the pubic hair soft. His justification? "I think that you should shampoo and condition any part of your body that has hair."
So I went home and tried it. I've been doing this for a few months now and I have noticed a great deal of difference. No, it's not like the hair on my head soft but it's no longer prickly (I also trim so the short hair standing up was prickly). I'm only guessing what it could do to those with long hair down there.
I was wondering how many others have tried this and how many were successful? I want to suggest it to my boyfriend but I'm trying to find a way to do it w/o sounding like his hair down there is nasty. I believe that it would be beneficial to both parties.

I don't do it, because I shave, but that's just me.
You could try something like, "Hey, did you know that if you put shampoo on your pubic hair when you shower/bathe, it makes the hair softer? It works for me - I wonder if it would work for you too if you tried it."

I shampoo and condition every part of my body that has hair as well. It's an old habit because my dad always buys this body wash shampoo stuff (shampoo and soap in one). So I grew up washing my hair and then using the suds for the rest of my body. When I moved in with my mom, we had separate shampoo and soap, so I would use the soap first, then shampoo my hair, then re-wash everything with the shampoo.
Weird habits, lol...
