I'm making a purse of the Tardis blaugh . My only problem is that I want it a scaled down version of the actual thing.
These are the actual measurements of the Tardis:
TARDIS DIMENSIONS:
Total height 120 inches ( deduct 10 inches if light is not to be fitted )
Light 10 inches
Base width 56 inches square approx—2 inches high
Side Panel width 53 inches
Side panel height 90 inches
Roof 56 inches square—height 18 inches

If I made a 1 inches fabric =12 inches wood, then the purse would be about a foot long. Would that be to long as a purse?

A foot long purse would be difficult to carry if you are not use to it, but a foot long is not as unusual as it sounds

Having it be sideways may make it less burdensome, or if you do 1.5 inches for 12 inches, that'd make it 8 inches, making a little more manageable
