Other than her first battle, Ambrosia had never been in a real fight before. It had come as a shock that she had been chosen by a small talking cat to receive the gift of sailor senshi-dom, and strangely appropriate that her power was honey. Minny had marvaled at the honeycomb skirt and drippy honey bow. The bee plushie that came with the outfit was on top of her head now, and she was standing on a rooftop, green eyes cast upward at the head of the plush that hung over to block part of her tiara. She walked in a circle with arms out and exaggerated footsteps, keeping the bee balanced on her head.
Her boots stopped in their tracks when she felt a strange ping!. She tilted her head downward, the bee sliding into her hands. What was that?
ping!
It was like a tickle in the back of her head. And it wasn't too far away. She peered over the edge of the building, trying to find what was makign that noise, or making her head feel funny. Was it a bad guy? Or maybe Camelot had found her! Ever since changing, Ambrosia had wanted to show off her new powered self to Camelot. It was his words that got her excited about maybe having magic, and keeping the hope that one day she could save people too alive.

Super Sailor Chibi Lenka. Now that was a mouthful. But it was so cool! She felt so much stronger, so much cooler…and she had a big, big bow! She couldn’t wait to show Pomona…now they were equal! Both Super Senshi!
She hopped down the street, playing hopscotch with herself…invisible hopscotch, of course. She froze though, looking around, feeling something…wrong. Huh. It felt like a youma! A bad, bad youma!
But, there was something else too…a senshi? It…She looked around, then her eyes fell on Ambrosia, peering over the side of the building. “Oh! Hi there! Come down here, there’s a youma, and we have to fight it okay? Before it hurts someone! I’m Sailor Chibi Lenka! Hi!”
It looked like another chibi senshi too! She hadn’t met one since Ixion! This was kind of cool! Yeah!

The person she felt turned out to be a little girl just like her! She waved cheerfully, and said "Ok, I'll be down in a second!" A youma? Those were the monsters right?
Ambrosia made her way down to the street level, hopping the last few feet of air to the pavement below. She ran around the corner to find the girl before her looked to be close to her age. Her outfit was all pink and green and super cute!"Hi I'm...Sailor..Ambrosia!" That was it! She had almost forgotten her super awesome senshi name! "Yeah, my power is Honey!" She threw down her hero pose, which was standing close to that of a ninja or kung fu fighter; knees bent and one hand behind her and one in front.
To their right, a strange yowl came from a tree where a pair of red eyes stared through the branches at the tiny power wielders. A feline tail wrapped around long claws on springy back legs as another yowl escaped it's jaw. The ears alternated between up and forward to flat with the voices of the two below. The youma cat growled, and rose from it's lounging perch. It's rump wiggled for a moment when it readied to leap to the ground and begin it's game.

Honey...honey was a food! Oh boy! Someone else for Team Yum Yum! Lenka laughed, then jumped up and down, happy.
"I'm the Senshi of Watermelons..." She frowned, chocolate brown eyes narrowing as the youma lept from the tree. Uh oh. It was up to her! She had to protect this senshi--she was so cool! She seemed to act the same as Lenka did sometimes, being silly about it, and really acting like a super hero! It was great!
"Stay behind me, Ambrosia...what does your attack do, do you know? Can you attack him? Or does your power do something else? "
What would honey do? Would she make the youma sweet, maybe? That might be a cool power!

"Watermelons? Cool!" She wondered what the girl's attack was. Maybe she spit seeds at people! Her attention was drawn form Lenka to the cat youma that was now crawling towards them with narrowed eyes. This was only the second youma she had ever met, but she remembered her attack name, so that was good. The brown haired girl took her place behind Lenka, and said "Well, it's like a soccer ball, but made of honey. And it sticks them to the ground I think." That's what it had done to the last youma she fought anyway.
The cat youma was close to the ground, shoulder blades jutting upward as it crawled. The tail twitched back and forth and it's mottled black and grey fur rippled. It growled again, showing it's fangs.

Lenka nodded, keeping her eyes on the youma. "Well, use it, Ambrosia! Then I can attack it while it's stuck! And we can kick it! I like to kick youma...they don't like it, and when my friend Camelot kicks them...they turn to dust!"
She missed Camelot, and really wanted to show him that she had gotten stronger! She was sure he would be really proud of her! She had worked hard for this, after all...his little padawan was growing up!
"Come on, Ambrosia, I don't want you to get hurt! I'm gonna protect you and we're gonna beat this monster, like a team!"

A team! She let the mention of Camelot go for now, but she would definitely talk to Lenka about that after the kitty was gone.
Ambrosia stepped forward, placing her bee plushie on the ground where it wouldn't get all sticky. She faced the cat, shouting "Honey Shoot!". Just like the time before, ball of honey seemed to pour from her gloved hands to the ground where it levitated just above the pavement. It was the size of a soccer ball and threatened to drip onto the ground just a few inches below. Ambrosia took a step back and then ran forward, kicking it with all her might. The ball spun in the air and went slightly upward before crashing down on the cat youma.
Who was not pleased. One minute it was stalking some easy looking prey, and the next it was being hit in the shoulder with a ball of sticky gross-ness. The cat yowled, feeling the honey stick it's hair together in clumps and run down it''s left leg to the pavement. When it hardened, the cat couldn't move very well at all. It hissed, pulling on it's frozen leg.
"I did it!" She shouted, jumping into the air. Being a super hero wasn't bad at all! "Your turn Lenka!" Ambrosia took a step back, allowing her new friend plenty of room to do her magic, which Ambrosia was eager to see.

Lenka nodded approvingly. “That was awesome, Ambrosia!” The chibi summoned her watermelon rind. “Lenka Boomarind!” She grinned, then threw it as hard as she could at the cat, hitting it on the head.
“Yes! I hit it!” She was even more pleased when her rind actually managed to return to her. She must really have gotten super strong when she became a super senshi! This seemed to give her a very large confidence boost, and she threw the rind again, though this time she missed and it got stuck in the honey ball.
“Oh, whoops! Come on, Ambrosia! Let’s kick him until he turns to dust! I can only throw my watermelon rind twice…then it gets all rotten and yucky!”
This was fun! Maybe the most fun she had ever had battling someone!

Ambrosia clapped when the rind hit the cat, who hissed angrily. Her prey was quickly becoming much more difficult, and it's paws remained frozen to the ground, though the honey was hardening and turning the color of glass.
The rind hit the pile of honey before it fully hardened, sticking in the sticky stuff with a faint thud. Ambrosia ducked her head and giggled, covering her mouth to keep from being rude. She followed the long haired senshi's lead, running over to the stuck cat and kicking at it's back legs. The cat twisted, snapping it's fanged jaw a the girl.
"Is it always this easy?" She asked, aiming another kick.

Lenka gave a sheepish giggle. “Is it always this easy…sometimes! Sometimes when you get to battle with someone, it’s really easy…it gets hard when you fight the real bad guys, though…They like to push me down, they’re real bullies!”
She drew in a deep breath , then drew her foot up, bringing it down as hard as she could on the youma, hoping that it would finish the creature off.
“It’s better for us to work in a team, I think…Because…kids like us, sometimes even the older senshi and stuff think we’re weak! We’re not, but they think we are just because we’re kids…there’s a lot more chibi senshi like us though, did you know? I know of Hug-Bell, and Ixion…and I think there’s even more than that!”
She felt really good…now she was the one showing this chibi what to do! She had really moved up!

The cat yowled, tail lashing. The honey was hardened, and cracking. It's paw broke feet as Lenka's foot came down on it, and the kick was enough to cause it to break into a cloud of dust. Ambrosia examined where the youma used t be, and noted that the honey that held it to the ground was shattered. Pieces of gold glass littered the stump of where it had originated. She picked up a piece, examining it in her hands. It certainly didn't look like honey anymore.
The mention of teams brought her attention back to the here and now. And more Chibi senshi! Her green eyes lit up and she exclaimed "There are more of us kids?! Oh that's exciting! Here I thought her were the only two!" She imagined an army of kids attacking youma, and smiled.
"So what team do you belong to?" she asked, hoping to get a name or two of a couple teams so that she too could be a part of it. This super hero thing was becoming more exciting by the second!

Lenka seemed very pleased that the youma turned to dust—she was quite proud of the other senshi! This girl would make an excellent addition to the team…she could honey the targets, then Lenka could watermelon rind them, and Pomona could pepper them! They would be unstoppable!
“Team Yum Yum! We’re the food senshi…Watermelons and Peppers right now…and if you decide to join us, it’ll be Watermelons, Peppers and Honey! Sailor Pomona, she’s the senshi of Peppers, she’ll be so surprised that I found you! But I know she’ll be happy that we have a new team member!”
The child held a hand out to Ambrosia, smiling. “Will you join us?” She hoped the answer would be yes…there was so much she wanted to do for this team! “I promise I’ll help train you, Ambrosia! I’ll help make you strong like me! And Pomona and I will be there to protect you always!”

"Is Sailor Pamona a Chibi too?" The team Yum Yum idea sounded amazing, and her excitement grew until she almost to a bursting point. She could be on a team! No more doing this all by herself! Minny would have someone to talk to about senshi stuff besides Diggs or the unnamed bee plushie at her side. And they could fight more bad guys and youma and save the world. This was turning out to be a lot of fun!
Ambrosia took Lenka's offered hand, saying "Of course I will join your team!" She was practically jumping up and down with joy "Yay! I'm on a team now!"

“No! Sailor Pomona isn’t a chibi, but she’s really really nice anyway! I’m so excited for you to be on our team! We’re gonna be completely unstoppable!” The child laughed and seemed almost giddy.
“Let me get your…” She pulled out her senshi phone and snapped Ambrosia’s picture, seeming even more excited. “There! Now I can contact you, and we can patrol together a lot! I’ll teach you everything you need to know, I promise!”
As she put her phone away she made a little disgruntled face. “It’s getting late, and I think I should be heading home now…You should too. It gets a lot harder to fight when you’re tired, trust me, I know…I get pushed down a lot when I get sleepy. But I’ll call you sometime soon, Ambrosia!”

Ambrosia was surprised by the phone, and she was sure her picture looked quite silly. But hey, that means that she was on a team! That meant she had senshi friends. One of them was even a grown up!
"That's good, because I'm new, so I have a lot to learn!" It was like the first day of school in a new grade. You didn't know anything, but with a good teacher she was going to be the smartest senshi in the whole wide world!
"Ok! I think it's pretty late too. My mom might wonder where I am by now." Hopefully her mother hadn't awoken and went to check on her kids. She would be in so much trouble....
"Ill see you soon Lenka! I'm glad we are friends now!" She waved and went the opposite direction of Lenka, looking for a place to power down that was close to home so she wouldn't have to walk alone and without magic.
