As far as Shun was concerned, he felt it was pretty important that Mitsu learned some more self defense. Things were getting more and more dangerous by the day, it seemed. He didn't know how much help it would be, but if she knew how to strike, it could be useful. Aside from that, he felt it was definitely important to keep working on her self confidence.
He probably wouldn't be able to help much as far as FEAR got, but he could teach her a few other things.
Warming up in the fitness room, the Reaper kicked and punched one of the bags a few times while he waited for the wolfgirl to get ready. He had a few things in mind today for getting things moving.

Finally she was back to training though this time with a nights rest to help back her energy. The lycan changed quickly in the locker rooms wondering what it was that Shun was going to show her today. So far she had been working on some of the simpler moves he had shown her but training on her own she wasn't sure if she had really improved. It was hard to determine.
Tying her hair up and out of the way Mitsu left the locker room and followed the sound of dull smacks until she found Shun at the punching bag. "Okay, I'm ready." Shorts and a t-shirt seemed to be her clothing of choice but instead of wearing shoes she had opted to go barefoot.

Hearing Mitsu, Shun turned around and nodded. He then stepped further away from the bags and motioned her to come over.
"Are you all warmed up? If so, then we can get started. We're going to work on the striking techniques. We'll work on power and speed for these strikes."
He took a step in front of her and got into stance.
"Now. Try to strike my torso. Don't hold back." he said as he braced himself.

Mitsu's eyes followed the reaper as he came to stand in front of her. Ears perched high on her head as he explained what they would be doing. Though, when he took up a stance she could only manage to stare at him blankly for a moment.
"Y..you want me to hit you?" She fumbled around the idea for a moment before she finally, if not a little reluctantly, got into a stance as well. The werewolf wasn't entirely sure about striking him but then again Shun was a better fighter than she was. When she finally decided to strike it was obvious she was holding back, too nervous to really try.

Shun nodded to Mitsu, waiting for her to strike. When she finally did, he just stared at her for a few moments.
"Well? Are you going to strike?"
Apparently he didn't consider that attempt as a real hit.

Mitsu frowned as she pulled back, "B..but I..." From the sounds of it her hit didn't count.
Brows furrowed, Mitsu let out a slight sigh before she worked up the courage to try again. This time she came around aiming a straight jab at Shun's torso like he asked. The power still wasn't there but it was better than her last attempt.

Well, that was better, but she was still holding back by a lot.
"If it helps, imagine that I'm one of those hunters. You can't hold back against the enemy. And you also shouldn't hold back against me. Strike again. I know you can hit harder than that."

Maybe he was just overconfident in her abilities, but Mitsu wasn't entirely certain she could do as he asked. Getting passed hitting him was the hardest part really.
"I..I know I can't hold back." She knew when the time came she would need to give it her all. It was with that thought in mind that she tried again. Mitsu came forward with a right hook, a bit more power behind the punch than the last. Nothing startling but a sizable about of force for her size.

That was better still. But, Shun had a feeling she could still improve. She was a werewolf after all. She had to have a fair bit of power.
"Better. But I think you can still do better than that. Strike hard. Make sure to follow through with your strikes. If you don't do that, your attack will also be less effective."

Better...but still not good enough. Not to Shun's standards apparently. It was a little frustrating. Mitsu was honestly trying but she didn't really know how to channel strength like a lot of the monster race seemed to know how to. Maybe she just wasn't meant to be strong.
"I don't know if I can hit any harder." Again she threw another hook but it seemed to have the same amount of strength behind it as the last hit.

The hit he felt was roughly with the same amount of strength as the last one. It wasn't a bad hit, but it still was lacking, in his opinion.
"Of course you can. You're still holding back," Shun said. That was his guess at least, "Take a deep breath. And strike with everything you've got."

Mitsu sighed again and tried to concentrate on what she was doing. She focused on the reaper trying to play out the punch in her mind, visualizing herself putting more force behind the blow. Maybe if she kept this focus she could actually do it.
Taking in a breath as instructed Mitsu let it out slowly, her expression looking determined. There was almost a gut feeling inside. Yes, she could do this.
Finally Mitsu drew back her fist...
..and managed a punch weaker than the last two. As her first struck Shun's blocking arms her head dropped. She knew she hadn't done well at all.

Seeing her concentrate, Shun readied himself. When he felt a hit that was weaker than her previous attacks. Frowning, he relaxed and stared at Mitsu, trying to figure out what she was doing wrong here.
"You're over thinking it now. Try again. Really. Release your power."

There was a huff but Mitsu quickly drew back her fist and tried again. Same power, nothing more. "I can't do it."
