Extremely stubborn and headstrong when it comes to school and magic. I keep a strict face on in public and refuse to move away from my principles. I'm clever and can think on my feet. I'm terrible at making friends and can be considered a loner. Although somber in appearance, I'm a very happy person and love learning new things! I try not to show too many emotions so I can get through life quickly and accomplish my goal. But when caught off guard, I become extremely clumsy and shy. I love cute accessories and clothes, but I don't wear them much due to training gear. But I buy them anyways! I'm extremely dedicated and motivated in order to accomplish my goals, which I never throw away.

In the farming woodlands of Novaria, where the white lilies bloomed year round. As an orphaned child, I lived with the apothecary and two other children, Fife and Fidela. They were twins and inseparable since birth. We quickly became friends and spent much of our childhood running through the forests and playing hide-and-seek in the lilies. But when I turned seven, the war began between our kingdom and that of Layola. Many young and old men were recruited as soldiers, leaving the women and children behind. Our village in Novaria was small and soon many of the men were gone, including Fife, who at the age of ten--just three years older than I--was recruited as well. I remember crying a lot that day with Fidela, but I also remember promising her that I would go and get Fife when I was strong enough to withstand the war. And so, Fidela and I continued our days in the village helping the apothecary with medicinal herbs. But at the age of nine, I showed promise in water magic and was told to leave the village at the age of seventeen in order to learn more about what I could do. Before I left, Fidela gave me her bracelet and made me swear I would find Fife, and bring us all together again. I gave her my word and waved bye as the carriage progressed. During my carriage ride, I made a mental plan of how long it would take before I could go to war and bring Fife back. But upon reaching the fortress known as Fuyu Academy, I realized that it was going to take a lot longer than I expected to succeed in my quest.

Water Magic, allowing me to bend and change the form of water and using its aura and energy to my benefit. Although magical, my body is human in form. Thus, I need to work harder to make up for any lack of strength and agility.

Hey there!

I noticed you have been posting in two places at once- the Herbal Shop and Ancient Runes Class. At Fuyu, students are only allowed to be in one location at a time, so I would appreciate it if you picked one or the other. Thank you~




(Sorry I'm behind on the dorm assignments, I'll try and get right on that. c: )

Um, no, I'm not kidding. I am quite aware Fuyu is not a real school, but that's not the point here. The Crew and myself spend a good deal of time trying to make this guild as realistic as possible. For example, let's say you and I went to the same school, and one day we're having a conversation in class. You can't just "time skip" to a completely different location just because you get bored of talking to me. It is essentially impossible, and ruins the whole feel of realism, even if it is "just a roleplay".

I realize the guild has been a little quieter than usual, and I apologize for that. Many of our members have school, jobs, and other outside commitments that demand their attention. I can not, and will not, start calling out members because they haven't posted as much lately. Ideally, I absolutely want more roleplay occurring- who wouldn't? Fuyu Academy prides itself on being a flexible, more relaxed academy-style roleplay with a large number of members of varying literacy, and diverse roleplay situations.

Other roleplay guilds may not use this rule, but Fuyu Academy does, and I intend to enforce it. If you find this unsatisfactory, I am sorry, but this is how Fuyu operates.

So, your character is in multiple places again. :s

She's in Elemental Combat, Knife Fighting, Ancient Runes, and Tactical Firearms.

Instead of asking you to remove her from all but one of those places, I'd like to propose a different solution -- two, actually.

1. If you're interested, I'd be happy to give you one or two of my inactive characters. They're here, and you can have your pick of Alice Yuki, Konnochi Nanami, Aden Shikz, Adaline Govett, or Addison Hill. (If you want Addison let me know, I'll have to take her out of the long-inactive detention building.)
The more characters you have the more places you can actively role-play while still following Fuyu rules.

2. If you're not interested in option one, another thing you could do is create a twin for Mariana. She could be "long lost" so it doesn't effect Mariana's past or you could just edit Mariana so a twin would work. The twin could have the same picture, same personality, and similar past, just a different name.
It's kind of bending the rules, but it would technically be a different character.
(For this option it's only a twin, though, I think triplets would be bending the rules a wee bit too much.)

Please let me know if you're interested in one or both of the ideas above, and if not then I will unfortunately have to ask you to take Mariana from all but one of the places mentioned above.
