Rolled a One: Ice Field: The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks.

Mina entered an unclaimed Stadium, a smile on her face. She was eager for a battle, especially seeing as Trist had come so far along.
After the field had randomized, she released him, petting his neck when he had formed. "Ready?"
Trist nodded his response but other than that made no move. He would have preferred to be beside his trainer than leave her side, and he saw no reason to do the latter until an opponent entered.

Abby claimed the same rattata she had been using all week from the desk and headed off the arena with him on her head, "you know Ratty. I think you and I have come a long way, think we'll win this one today?'
The rental chattered happily "Taaaaa!" but that stop as soon as they stepped into the staduim. It was cold.
"Oh no! not ice again." She fell limp from the hips up, Rattata had to jump of to avoid falling.

Mina, unaware of the girl's trouble when it came to ice, waved when she saw her opponent-to-be come.
"Hello!" she called. "Looking forward to battling you!"
Turning to view the screen that displayed their numbers, she continued with, "Looks like we're up, Trist! Start it off with Confusion!"
Trist entered the field as soon as the Rattata has done, his hooves struggling to find a foothold within the ice. Failing that, he was forced to slide slowly around the place, always in constant motion. He huffed. He must look ridiculous.
Upon hearing Mina's words, he sent a wave of psychic power towards the Rattata, trying to concentrate on the small form despite the fact that he was sliding right past it.

Abby waved back, this girl seemed rather friendly. "Same here. Let's make this a memorable battle! and then go for some hot coco!" she cheered happily as she zipped up her sweater.
"Rattata, Dodge it and use Crunch."
The rental hopped down onto the field of ice and kinda skatted on it. All those other battle must have down some good, he was learning to use them to his advantage after all. He moved fast towards the two headed foe and aimed his chompers that him.

"Hot cocoa has to be paid by the loser!" Mina agreed cheerfully, closing her own jacket in response to the cold.
"Keep trying, Trist!"
Trist lifted a hoof when he felt something bit it, bellowing in pain. However, the action caused him to lose balance and he stumbled for a moment before he regained his footing.
Shaking himself, he tried a few more attempts to halt his sliding but eventually gave up and directed another Confusion towards his foe.

When he was hit he started to see double of everything He aimed for the yellowish blob but he wasn't sure what it was..

The Rattata appeared properly confused now. On Mina's word, he turned and attempted to deal a kick, one foot at a time to preserve balance.

Rattata hurt himself with that last attack, he thought his paw was the other pokemon and bite it. He shook his paw and growled as he ran at the girafarig again.

Sadly, the length of Trist' previous attack had left him vulnerable, and he was punished with a singe of toxic. Ears lowered to show his displeasure, he did as requested and aimed another beam of psychic energy.
